Dear hertz rental,I'have hired cars all over the world. Good value for money is not your goal. You've advised me all your servicves you could imaginaire which i didn't need. Therefore my rental rate went from 68$ per Day to more then double: 180$ per Day. What di you think is to improve?

Rental car okay. Almost new Nissan with almost 4000 miles on the clock.Staff very unfriendly when picking up. Questions are answered blandly. The lady seemed like she didn't want her job.

Top service, vehicle, welcome and advice for us. we had decided not to take the toll box because our road should not have one, but finally by taking the wrong route we saw that there were automatic Tolls, hertz which received the invoices only asked us 10 $ fee.. very reasonable. As soon as we return to New York we will return to Hertz at this address

Since it is a downtown business location, it would be good to take into account that the car of the class you reserved may not be available or may not be ready (due to non-compliance with the return time of the previous reservation, etc.)The reception at the information desk was friendly, and I reserved an 'F' (large sedan), but there was no vehicle of the same class available, so I received an EV (kia EV6). The service desk is friendly.If a Korean rents an electric vehicle other than Tesla, there may be issues with charging. I mainly used a fast charger from a company called 'evGo', and since you can fast charge with a credit card without registering as a member, it would be good to use it while on the go.Consider this business is in town, The vehicle may not be ready. because of Non-return from previous reserve, etc)The service of desk is quiet kind. I reserved a 'F' (large sedan) but there is no sedan that time. So they gave me an EV (kia EV6). I satisfied it, but someone has problem about charging EV in america. I recommend the 'evGo' which is fast charging service. You can use the 'evGo' charger without sign up, only using your credit card'

Terrible customer service. I was rented an UNSAFE car which was ILLEGAL to be on the road. I had a week long rental and decided to upgrade at the counter when I picked up the car. After driving for a two days, the check engine light came on, so I called roadside assistance (spent 25 min waiting) to ask what to do and document the situation. They told me it was ok, and to carry on unless something worse happened. The light went off the next day. Two days later I had a different exclamation point warning pop up, so I once again called to document. They told me I could continue driving the car. The next day, I parked my car and came back to find a ticket on the dashboard - the car was overdue for an inspection since October (it’s December end). I called again, asked what to do, they told me I would need to hand over at return counter. I then proceeded to ask what Hertz could do for me, considering I am driving a car which is illegally on the road and would not pass inspection based on the lights that were on. They informed me that I would need to discuss at the counter. NOW, at the counter, I once again explained the situation and asked whether at a minimum, they could reimburse the cost of the upgrade. Not only did they question everything that I said they refused to do anything. One guy came in to say the lights aren’t on anymore. I assured him it was the entire 3 hour drive home. The manager claimed I never called roadside, saying he was looking at my record. Thankfully, I had a case number and then he said he’d look into it further. Above all of that, he said if I waited 5 minutes he would be back to the hertz office - I was there 40 minutes and he never showed, and texted the woman at the counter saying he couldn’t do anything. Lastly, when I asked for the name of the manager, they refused to give me anything but a first name, Idrisa. My point was that I should never have been rented a car which should not be on the road. On top of that, because of the issues, I was inconvenienced multiple times during the week. As a gold member, and a loyal customer, I expected a level of customer service, recognition instead of defensiveness at the counter, an apology for renting me a car which should not have been on the road, an offer to make things right. I got nothing. I will be escalating through hertz online customer care channels. And I won’t be renting with hertz at this location again.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Customer service do not exist. Even though they knew we reserved a car for out of state travel they gave us a Volvo EV which takes ONLY certain EV chargers. it took us 11 hrs to get to Washington DC. Every charger was broken or they do not exist in NY or on the App. They sent us 2 different Hertz locations and both refused to switch the car. We have spent Xmass on the road trying to figure out a charger station.

It was my first ever trip to usa. And of course my first ride in USA. I was a bit reluctant when I saw comments about the location from where I was taking. But it was very nice experience. Got a nice and new car on time. The lady at desk was helpful and explained well. The car was neat and cleaned and returned clean and with full tank. Highly recommended

Employees of the company either are incorrectly informed of company policy or are liars. Seems like a mix of both. Don’t rent from here, customer service is a joke. Your car can break down and no one will help you or issue a refund. Avoid like the plague

Slow service. They only take one person at a time and the line for pick up is often long. You can’t drop off after 8pm even though this place is inside of a garage with plenty of space. No drop off key service.The attendant Tamara was GREAT, otherwise this will be a 1 star review. Hertz needs to improve the location.
