Feels like this location has taken a dive post pandemic. Home Depot used to have very knowledgeable and helpful people working for them, but I visited recently and the quality of their newer employees is pretty bad. Some are barely employable and don't seem to want to do their jobs. They really should have just paid more to retain their older and more qualified staff, cause the newer, cheaper employees are detrimental to the company. Maybe it's good for their stock price and ceo pay, but it's bad for their customers and their brand reputation. Overheard one guy complaining loudly to his buddies right after another customer asked him where something was; basically told the customer why was he asking him where a plumbing item was when he was standing near the paint section. Later, my cashier was busy complaining about the company and his drug use to his friends instead of ringing people up. Home Depot is quickly becoming more like McDonalds and the people running things need to wake up.

Best Home Depot ever!!! They have everything; fully stocked storage items, cleaning supplies, and paper products at excellent prices. They definitely know the NYC market, as they have so much of everything you need in the city. Al was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and passionate about his work. Excellent job, I’ll be returning!

I find it amazing how many workers are standing around greeting you and doing nothing but after 15 minutes I could not get someone in flooring to help me (because they only have 2 ppl working “flooring” and no one else is capable of ordering samples apparently. What a joke!

Ordered a washer and dryer and advised them I would need a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for delivery to my building. Called multiple times to follow up and secure the COI. Organized my weekend around the delivery. Pulled a favor with building management to get permission for the delivery on a holiday weekend. The delivery was cancelled because I did not receive a COI.Customer service said I would have to call them to discuss compensation. Refused to advise of compensation amount until after the delivery was made, at which point I could no longer return the washer and dryer. Advised that I would have to call them to secure compensation, rather than them calling me to make it right.The delivery company said they never received my email address so that they could request a sample COI and prepare it. I was advised by home depot that the delivery company did not need a sample COI.A complete waste of my time and energy. Hours of my day. Terrible customer service. Will be doing significant renovations in the months ahead and am taking my business elsewhere.Customer service representative, Brock, complained about me interrupting him while he stated false information about what had happened and why. I heard background noise and clatter during the call, like he was busy doing something else.
