My pedicure looked like this after a week — usually they have done good work, but this time I still have callouses, dried cuticles and polish that fell off within days. This used to be my favorite place, and something has really slipped here. Very disappointing and expensive.Service: Pedicure

My go-to spot. The women who work here are incredibly kind, gracious and hard working. They take great detail in manicures & pedicures. Highly recommend, a great spot with non-toxic nail polish.

If you're looking for a polish manicure, Jinsoon is the best in NYC - hands down. Their mani / pedi lasts forever, the technicians are very detail-oriented and thorough, and the space is clean and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Went here for a girls date for Mani/pedis and it was wonderful! I did the cucumber Pedi with the callus remover and the rose Mani. The staff were wonderful, the experience was great and my nails look amazing. Also, prices are super affordable, especially for the quality!

Truly terrible. Spilled nail polish on my leather bag and didn't help or apologize. Sent an email about it, no response. Genuinely awful.

It's a Saturday and the day before my anniversary with my boyfriend so a mani / pedi felt like an extra special treat. I had heard very good reviews about Jinsoon from current and past beauty editors so I decided to give it a shot. I went to the WV location and immediately loved how cozy and quiet the space was. The wall filled with different nail colors was super chic and each Jinsoon bottle had two bottles of each color. Other brands were towards the back in a variety of colors as well. Walking in I had to fill out a Covid-19 consent form and sanitize my hands . I was asked if it was okay if I had my mani / pedi at the same time and I agreed to that. In general the idea itself was excellent but the set up was not so comfortable and to be honest this was not worth the money. Towards the back is where you have your pedicures. If you're pregnant or disabled this area is not going to work for you. Reason being is because it's a deep step up to your seat that has no railing and the seat is padded with cushions that offer no real support and have seen better days. Since I had the mani and pedi at the same time i had to rest my left hand on a Bounty paper towel roll with a towel on top and lean across for my right hand. I had come in for the rose petal mani / pedi with a hand and foot massage and let me tell you this felt like I sacrificed my comfort to accommodate their initial request. Half way through the mani I was starting to feel very sore and uncomfortable on my side. I didn't say anything by choice and just knew right away this was a one done deal since I've had mani / pedis done at the same time elsewhere and never felt any physical discomfort. When it was time for my left hand to get worked on, they offered a bowl with rose petals in it and placed it in my lap gently. Though the touch was gentle it was incredible how I was expected to balance this the whole time. (I ended up placing the bowl right next to me). The massages themselves were just okay but I appreciated how each person took their time doing their work along with offering a small bowl for my delicate bracelets. I personally thought my nails turned out great (despite getting accidentally nicked and being casually taken care of) and only time will tell how long they'll last based on older reviews (this polish claims it's chip proof finish..). I essentially came in here with high expectations only to have them shattered and PS, this clearly does not align with Jin's vision of elegant simplicity so unfortunately I'd reco going to spend your money elsewhere.

Underwhelming and Unsafe?I don't often write reviews but I write this incase anyone else gets swept up in the celebrity hype that comes along with Jin Soon spas sometimes.I booked the summer oasis mani/pedi, where cucumber and mint leaves are supposed to be used. I only had the cucumbers which was a disappointmen; the mint would have definitely added to treatment. The other part that would have improved the experience is if there was a bit more of a ritual or sorts associated with the special waters. I mean some of the treatments sound elaborate as the waters are filled with all sorts of goodies, but no real effort is made to make them feel that way.More importantly though: I didn't see any of the tools wrapped or packaged, and they were brought out on trays so I couldn't even see if they were sterilized. I asked and was told yes, they were sterile. Obviously a concern, but it became more of a concern when my nail tech cut my nail beds to the point they were bleeding - one finger on each hand. This is really bothersome and quite a potential health hazard. I won't be returning.Services: Pedicures

I never write bad reviews (or reviews at all), but I felt so insulted by the rudeness and unprofessionalism I experienced just walking into the salon. I will not support this business again.

I won’t fault them for any of the comforts that are taken away because of Covid but for the same price to have the actual manicure not be great is unacceptable. I selected their brand of nail polish in deux and it dried so unpleasantly with deep ridges. A disappointment at any price but especially this price! I won’t say I’ll never go again but I will be trying a few other places in the neighborhood before I consider coming back.

Had a great experience with a fabulous Hand and Foot Spa Manicure and Pedicure! It was easy making a last minute appointment! Very intimate setting and very nice and cozy feeling. It’s around the corner from the 1 Train- Christopher Street station. The staff was friendly and took their time. I highly recommend this place!

The salon experience is nice. Their non toxic color options are awesome however, either their polish/products OR (and) their methods ruin your nails. I have long, healthy nails. My manicurist complimented them 5 times. When she was filing, she was doing a lot on top of the nail and I said that it was enough as I didn't want them to get too thin. She insisted and said it was totally fine. Well, my nails have never EVER looked worse and I used to get gels and we all know what that does to nails. My nails are peeling and breaking like never before. I would never go back.

Didn't even step foot in this place and already a terrible experience. Booked two pedicures a month in advance for my wife and I, both at the same exact time (11:45AM). They sent me a reminder the day before for one appointment at 11:00 and one at 11:45. I called letting them know that it was incorrect, I even received two email confirmations stating the correct times. They told me "well you can just sit there and wait." LOL... no thanks! Cancelled the appointments and will never attempt to make one again.
