They responded to a message to confirm the bulb was available. Then, at the store the staff was knowledgeable and quickly retrieved the item from inventory. Price was much better than Amazon or nearby chain stores.

Tons of expertise in this shop. Their electrician was able to repair my damaged film enlarger with an extremely niche problem in under an hour, while helping other customers. The service was great even though the shop was really busy--I was impressed by the team's ability to help everyone quickly and efficiently. If you want to linger and shoot the breeze with the manager, this probably isn't the place for you, but if you want your problem solved as fast as possible, I would recommend them for any lighting-related electrical repairs.

These guys are so nice and always help me with my lighting needs, no matter the ask! Have had several bulbs for vintage lamps replaced here and am always in and out in a matter of minutes.

This is the same owner & store that once was part of Letterman's opening film of unexpected joys in New York. The shop is small in size but big in inventory. I needed four flood bulbs and Lowe's /Home Depot didn't carry. I took photos of my burned out things, took the subway to Bloomingdale's and walked two blocks. Within a few minutes, based on my selfies, they brought me the good replacements. The kitchen is again lit! Could I have done it via the web site? This was an extremely alarming and triggering experience. The business owner needs some immediate psychiatric help. HORRIBLE people. They took my money and I paid for a same day delivery (I had electricians on site all day with scaffolding up to compete this job). I called several times to see when it would be delivered, and they kept saying the bike messenger has it. No delivery. I called the following morning, and the person I spoke to screamed at me on the phone when I asked why they weren't delivered. I asked to speak to another person who could speak to me professionally, and they also talked over me when I was trying to get to the bottom of it, screamed at me, used profanities, and hung up on me. Keep in mind I had just spent hundreds of dollars at their store. I would suggest they go into another business and not deal with customer service directly. Awful and disgusting how they treat customers who keep them in business. Never going there again and I would not recommend unless you would like to be verbally assaulted and treated like a piece of trash. Over lightbulbs of all things. Wow.*regarding their "response" -- all lies. He started yelling at me from the moment he discovered they were in the wrong and made the mistake. This man verbally assaulted me and luckily I recorded the entire interaction. I really hope he receives some mental help. I felt really bad for him because clearly he has some issues in his life that he wants to take out on unsuspecting female customers. The energy you give is the same energy you're going to get back, sir. You should be more concerned about your business matters rather than lashing out at people at 10:30 in the morning.

Wow, what a poor experience with Just Bulbs. I paid for my lamp to get fixed, and they returned it dusty, with a scratch, and still broken.When I asked them to please pick up the lamp and re-do the job so that the lamp works correctly, they were going to charge me for pickup. When I asked for the delivery charge to reconsidered (since they didn't fix the lamp the first time), the manager/electrician gave me a healthy dose of attitude, with an extra side of rude.Hard pass on this business--they are certainly not the only lamp repair store in town.(Addendum: After I wrote a review elsewhere, the owner David B. replied with false information about our interaction & repair -- He mentioned something about dimmers, which I don't even have, plus a timeline of repairs that was pure fiction.It's sad when a business owner lies to justify their poor customer service. If a customer wants additional background about this business, simply scroll through other reviews for more information to see for yourself about how they operate. Unfortunately, it seems like I am not the only person who has been treated poorly.)

Called them for a specialty bulb and the person the help me over the phone right away told me they have it. When I arrived they have my bulbs ready and all three salesperson are very nice. Small but organized retail store and accommodating salespersons. Most of all they are all welcoming.

Unfortunately I met the owner, david. Used to work for his father. He was arrogant n condescending back then and I see he still is. I’m surprised they’re still in business but not surprised this is all they have. They haven’t expanded. Inferior is a good word which describes his personality and career. Total l*****

my man cave has a old giant chandelier that has not been on for years as the light bulbs are hard to find and to be honest i have not looked hard enough but a friend told me about just bulbs on the upper east side and now the lights are on thanks to just bulbs .they carry bulbs for every light fixture , lamps , etc, and if they dont have it then no place will. they even had in stock a bulb for a table lamp thats older then joe biden and its really bright even on low setting. dont throw that old lamp or light fuxture away , just visit just bulbs in manhattan and come get lit up again.
