This store had what I wanted and was very convenient. You also get that personal service that you can't get at the large competitor. We all know who that is.

This was the ultimate rip off store. The charges $46 for screws that should cost $10. DONT GO HERE

Rip off! First they way overcharge you for things that do not work (2 times over another hardware store, 3 times over Home Depot), then refuse to take it back.

small but they seem to have everything you might need. The staff is nice and very helpful. I went in to buy a combination lock where you have to set the combination yourself a salesman did it for me. I was very thankful and will return for other things.

Helpful and polite staff, I have to start off with, but their prices as far as I experienced were outrageous. They wanted $50 to make two cuts of wood (about two feet each) which would have taken them all of five minutes. I left rather abruptly and did it myself with a hand saw... looks almost as good as if with a machine!

I was thrilled to be walking on Lexington Avenue and find discover this wonderful hardware store! I hope they have a long term lease since it’s so rare to find an old fashioned hardware store that has such a huge assortment of everything from light bulbs to nuts & bolts!

Charged me $8.00 a key. I was ripped off. Couldn't copy the other key I needed so I found another locksmith in the area and he only charged me $3.50. Buyer beware.

Amazing local hardware store that has EVERYTHING. Thomas was so kind helping. This is our neighborhood go-to. Love looking up each aisle. Support small businesses like this one.

Really nice neighborhood place. Better selections than Home Depot, and great advice if needed. No long lines. Recommended!

I was actually referred to Lexington Avenue Hardware by a Home Depot associate, 2 weeks ago, after trying & failing to fix a lamp myself.Today was my 3rd visit to pick up a 2nd repaired lamp by Richard, resident lamp repair man extraordinaire!Though the cost is not necessarily low(I recently had 1 of the 2 lamps rewired elsewhere) then unfortunately subsequently broke both! It’s not easy to find a good lamp that are inexpensive, & I really wanted to keep both of these.I am thrilled I was able to have the lamps repaired & am forever indebted to Richard for his expertise!
