Very local and human touch bookstore run by a family and their cats. Friendly people, the store is charming.

Is this a front for a cult? Why don't they want to sell books? Once I entered, the employee-manager essentially body-blocked me from going further into the shop, I assumed I'd gotten the hours wrong, he said 'no, but can I help you?', and soon as I said my title and author (a book on contemporary US history) he--without skipping a millisecond much less checking any records--spouted back 'I'msorrywedon'thavethat'. He didn't offer to order it, didn't invite me into the shop to browse, and never averted his laser-like stare. Worst customer service ever.

It's our local bookstore. I told the owner I forgave him for putting the Tolkien books on the same shelf as Harry Potter. Cute store. Lots of good selection. Support your local bookstore!

Not just religious books! More than half the bookstore is non religious. Though the fiction and poetry section are smallish, they have a nice variety of good books, classic and contemporary! I lounged on one their comfy chairs and read several books to my son as a friendly cat went by us. Oh yes, good kids section too!

Go to neighborhood book store, I believe the last one standing. I primarily go for the children books but always have something interesting for my child.

A small neighborhood gem with a lot of charm and two "tuxedo" cats. (Mr. Boo Boo likes attention, the other one is shy.)This is a curated collection which features many recent releases as well as classics, a good children's book section and other standard categories. They carry travel books, ETS test prep books as well as a section of books with plots set in New York. They also have a nice greeting card section with unusual and unique finds, including a collection of blank cards with watercolors of dress designs by famous Hollywood costume designers (Edith Head etc.) for leading ladies of the 1950s: Audrey Hepburn (Sabrina), Elizabeth Taylor (A Place in the Sun), Grace Kelly (High Society), Olivia de Havilland (The Heiress) and others. If they don't have what you want they offer to order it for you. I wish they carried more crossword puzzle books. There was only one when I was there. (Maybe it was just the timing.)It's well worth a visit.

Had to go here to check out "MOONEY'S" from Netflix's You. The shop is very quaint and cute. They carry a lot of Christian books as well as non-fiction. Staff was very friendly and nice considering they must have many tourists popping by to take pics. Please support your local and small businesses!
