This location isn't too far away from the train station like less than a 3 min walking distance. They're currently having an end-of-the-year 50% off holiday sale on selected items at any of their stores or online. Basically, any items with the 50% off labeled on the sign are half off from the original price. Staff are super friendly and patient in explaining their products to customers with a gentle smile. You can try sampling the products on your hands first before making a purchase. They've several sinks in store so you can always wash it off before trying on a second product. Accepted forms of payment are cash, debit/credit card, and gift cards. There're all kinds of skincare, haircare, and body care like face cleanser, body lotion, hand cream, shaving cream, bath bombs, massage oil bars, bubble bars, shower gel, variety of gift sets, makeup, body scrubs, shower oils, moisturizers, handmade soaps, shampoos, conditioners, henna hair dyes, hair treatments, hair styling products, and so much more.

I always have a good experience in this store. The associates are helpful but generally get the vibe when you want to take your time and shop. I love the different scents and the lack of packaging. My favorite products are the solid perfume. They're easy to travel with, reasonably priced and hold the scent for long periods of time. I've tried the shampoo bars but I find them to be a bit drying on my hair.

I haven't been inside a LUSH store in a while, but I've been a fan since the 90's. This location is perfect. I deeply appreciate not being overly helped, especially during socially awkward post-pandemic times. The store is well-stocked, clean, and really fun to spend over an hour shopping in. The star of my experience was manager-on-duty Lee, who is one of the most helpful and kind employees I've encountered at LUSH, patiently answering all my questions -- including dumb ones about how to use certain products I wasn't familiar with. Getting JUST the right amount of help at LUSH is like seeing a double rainbow! It was a really cozy experience and I now look forward to returning for Christmas gifts.

I came into the store a few times and each time the staff was so helpful and informative. You can tell they genuinely love the products. Recently I had the pleasure of receiving outstanding customer service from Sarai. Her recommendations were exactly what I was looking for. She introduced me to products that I would not have noticed or inquired about if she wasn’t there to assist. I lover her energy and her vibe. Even when I was indecisive and unsure she was patient with me and allowed me to explore the items on my own and ask as many questions as I wanted. It felt like shopping with a friend. I will definitely be back to this specific store. Her product knowledge is amazing and consistent throughout every cosmetic in the store. I can’t wait to try more items. Lush is one of my favorite stores, thank you Sarai❤️

This is my go to place for years for bubble bath balms enriched soaps and soaps that exfoliate the skin gently. animal cruelty, free The scents are many and ever changing. They do keep their stable scents

It has been several years, but it is still very unpleasant. At that time, I bought soap, shampoo bar, and skin care products in the store. After trying the skin care products at home, I developed allergies. I went to the store the next day and wanted to return the product. The employee She also helped me return the goods, but it didn't happen. The employee was new, and the return became a second charge. I checked the bank records at the time, and I asked her if this was a return? She said yes. But the next day I saw the bank card payment information, and I went to the store to find the manager, but no one ignored me. I didn't get a reply, I didn't get a refund, I spent money 2 times and got nothing, it was a really, really, really bad experience, I have never purchased here again since, the whole brand just makes me feel bad Just bad

Love this Lush location right by Union Square! The ceilings are nice and tall to give you that spacious, airy feeling (not at all like the claustrophobic storefront at Columbus Circle) and there are way more products and sink space to play around with. I haven't been to a single Lush location where I was not welcomed warmly and assisted, so the service here is equally fantastic.

I love coming here! I had to make a return and I forgot the card I paid with so I had to make a purchase with the returned item. I was in a rush, but the staff, especially the male working was so kind and helpful. He suggested items based off what he knew I liked and I had a great experience. Looking forward to going back already ?

Since similar experiences have happened three times and none changes have been made after communicating with on-site staff and online customer support, I’m afraid I’d say this is one of the worst Lush stores I’ve ever been to during my 8 year’s shopping with Lush all over the world:1) Whichever Lush store I’ve been to, even if there’s no customer in the store, all the staff members either re-allocating the shelves or checking inventory. And whenever they see me coming into the store, at least one of them would happily greet me and ask me how I am doing and is there anything they could help. Not this one at the Union Square; at least once in the last two months when I stepped into the store, I saw people on their phones and they just let me look around without saying anything. As a long time shopper, I may not need much help for sure but I always appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere. That’s not how I feel at the Union Square location;2) Whenever I ask about products, whether it’s about ingredients, quantity in stock or when something will be released, all the other Lush staff members may not always know the answer, but they always reply with something like, “I’m not sure but let me double check…” Not at this location. I was asking about the Sponge Bob collaboration and the special paper bags the other day and the male staff member just shrugged and said “I don’t know.” Whatever I was looking for was however on his back and took me no time to locate them when the male staff member walked away;3) I don’t know about Lush’s detailed sample distribution policy. But again, while I always for one or two samples, all the other stores are always happy to accommodate. Some of them are even happy to give me up to five without me asking for them. The Union Square location though, only allows one and one at a time. When asked, they never want to specify whether that’s the corporate, region or the store policy;4) Although it’s not a real membership program, Lush records customers’ contact information and purchase history. Receipts can be sent electronically via the system too. When I provide my contact information at the Union Square location though, the staff members were like, that’s useless.Although there are some staff members (eg. two amazing and passionate black ladies) at this location, this Union Square is way below the Lush standards I’m used to. When I first encountered this, I thought it’s a NYC thing but after visiting locations at Herald Square, Upper West Side and Columbus Circle, I realize that this is the Union Square thing. With their products’ increasing price and decreasing quality, it’s saddening to see amazing locations like Philadelphia and Herald Square location have to be closed down while Union Square location continues to exist. I’m not sure but I suspect the sub-par services I’ve got here is because I’m not white. No matter how long it’s gonna take, I’ll start shopping at other locations in NYC.

Lush is one of my happy places. Thanks to Joe, today's visit was an even happier experience, as he educated me on the products exclusive to this location and gave me some awesome free samples to try out while I am visiting NYC. Thank you Joe and Lush!! Only wish there was a travel size magic crystals so I could have bought some to use now and take back home with me.

I bought my first scent, Dirty, which I fell in love with on 77th. I came into the 14th st store late in the afternoon on Friday the 12th. The staff was very friendly and Amara spent some 30 minutes with me discussing various essential oils. I eventually bought "Two more hearts" a new discovery.and Cardomon & Coffee."I came back on Sunday the 14th because Cardomon and coffee didn't fit me. Corin was very helpful and let me exchange it for 2 other perfumes "Love" and "American Cream." I ended up buying a 3rd "Keep it fluffy" as well. asLots of love for Amara and Corin. I will be back for Breath of God and some new discovery. I came back Thurday the 18th and was helped by Shy. I bought Orange Blossom (I love Neroli) and Coctail. I tried The Hairdressers Husband. I loved the strong citrus opening, but it died pretty fast.. when I got home and on the walk back I kept getting whifs of the hair salon smell. So I will be back for that one. A shout out to Sarah who rang me up. I lo e all of your staff

Wowowow where to even begin?! This is by far my favorite Lush in the city. Folks who work here couldn't be kinder or more helpful. Many employees have made a concentrated effort to learn my name and consistently go above and beyond to make going to this location an absolute delight. Nick, Amara, and Elia (eeek not sure on the spelling on this one!) have been total rockstars. Everyone is knowledgeable about the products and makes great recommendations based on what I ask for/inquire about.

This is one of my favorite stores and this is my favorite location. I’ve never had a bad time, but today’s visit was the absolute best. Nic was super friendly and knowledgeable and made me want to buy everything in the store. I couldn’t have ask for a better experience today.
