It's important to have places like this tucked in the nooks and crannies of Midtown Manhattan. A place with enough seating to have your own space, high ceilings to make the small space feel bigger, and a calm atmosphere to take away from the frantic, quite frankly manic, energy of midtown. Oh and a place that SLANGS great espresso. Madman has become me and my big homies goto spot to grab a coffee. I love Culture Espresso as much as the next person, but that place can get to be a zoo at prime coffee hours. We came here yesterday, and I was initially shocked as he pulled up with short hair and normally his flow is crraaaaazzyyyyyyyy. After asking him why he cut it and what inspired it, I was like damn should I cut mine too? After gathering my bearings from haircut-gate, I copped my patented hot americano with a cup of ice on the side (vet move) and the big homie got a latte... or maybe it was a cappuccino it's really stripping my mind rn damn... I said "stripping my mind" but obviously meant "slipping my mind" but I'm currently listening to that RHCP song "Strip My Mind" ahahaha my b. I was gonna edit that out but just thought y'all should know that. I've attached a pic of the lattuccino in question. It had that beautiful little flower-like design on it... honestly how do baristas do that? That is pure art. How hard is that? I kinda want someone to teach me that just to see how tough it is so I have a greater appreciation for it. I never get milk based coffee because it upsets my tummy (my immune system is iron though I promise), but when someone does and it has that little art I'm always blown away. Little details can make the biggest difference sometimes. Anyways, on the way out there is a big sign above the door that says "Life is Beautiful." I ordered their Cappuccino and it was artfully done. The coffee beans seemed to have darker taste notes, adding to the flavor. Their blueberry muffin topped with almonds was really good that I would go again just for this muffin. I liked the ambiance too. It was a small and quiet space where some were quietly working or chatting. Next time I might try their other coffee varieties since they seem to offer unique lattes such as white chocolate raspberry latte, gingerbread latte, and lavender latte.

An excellent coffee in a small coffee shop. We came here after getting an atrocious coffee across the street at Best Bagels. Desperately in need of a good coffee on a chilly day, Madman served it up amazingly well. My cappuccino was smooth, rich, and creamy just as it should be. My girlfriend ordered a latte which was on the strong side for her taste, but she said it was really good. The barista was really friendly and the coffees were made very promptly. The cafe had a warm and cozy atmosphere and felt conveniently located.

Perfect cozy cafe for a coffee or breakfast - I stopped in for a bagel sandwich. The service was speedy and my order was delicious.

It's a charming spot where you are immediately welcomed, plus some delicious, fresh food.I got a ham & cheese sandwich, plus an almond croissant - definitely recommend both!

I was so captivated by this place that I didn't even get the chance to snap a picture. The attention to detail and the decor had me in awe. It's a wonderfully cozy and well-maintained spot.I opted for the Dirty Chai with chocolate, and I must say, it was perfection in a cup. The drink temperature was spot-on, and the milk was expertly steamed. The wide selection of savory options and pastries was a delightful surprise.What adds to the charm of this place is the friendly staff. My only wish is that they had a larger space to accommodate more people. It's the kind of place where you'd love to sit down and savor your coffee for a little longer.

The coffee was so great and very delicious. The quality of coffee was excellent. It taste so amazing and smooth flavor. The Organic Cold brew was so tasty and one my favorite. Friendly staff and excellent service. The restaurant was spacious and modern interior design. The coffee selection was absolutely good too.
