Finally had the pleasure of sitting here all afternoon. The store is very well kept and attended to. The book displays and merchandise are very well displayed. The visible rafters, exposed brick, & large windows give it that 1800s vibe. Grady was so pleasant to converse with. However, my only issue is that it’s way too cold in here. The thermostat read 64°. My feet were cold and my toes were numb. The bathroom could use some tidying up. If it’s always this cold in here that’s definitely a deterrent for me especially in the winter months.

Its spacious layout and diverse collection across genres make it a standout destination for book lovers. Besides the inviting ambiance and the fantastic range of books, there’s a certain charm about this place that makes the experience memorable. It’s a haven for those seeking both a good read and a great cup of coffee.

Thanks to your decision to host Pulitzer Prize-winning author Viet Thanh Nguyen last night after the 92nd Street Y abruptly cancelled his talk, you have a new loyal customer.

This is a beautiful bookstore. It's very spacious and well organized. It has a huge selection of books and I love that there's a whole section on books about New York. The prices on the books are very reasonable. I have to come back and spend more time here, exploring their many books.

I've had the pleasure of visiting twice, and each time was a delightful experience. Their selection of books, is diverse and is unparalleled. But that's not all; McNally Jackson is a hidden gem for coffee and wine lovers too. On my first visit, I savored a 2016 rosso that was simply divine. Then, on my second visit, I tried their cold brew sweetened with maple syrup. Despite not usually adding sugar to my coffee, I was hooked by its mild sweetness. Adding a touch of milk made it even yummier! So, whether you're a bookworm, a coffee aficionado, or a wine enthusiast, McNally Jackson has it all. This place is a true haven for anyone seeking the perfect blend of literature, coffee, and wine. Don't miss out!

Quaint little bookstore with a coffee shop below. Nice staff and a bunch of cute seating areas upstairs. The books won’t disappoint.
