ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE I HAVE TO OR I CANT POST A REVIEW. My husband and I went to Men's Wearhouse on 50th Street between 6th & 7th Ave to buy him a suit for a Business function. When we walk in, there were two employees behind the register a short heavy african american guy and a heavy african american woman and a spanish guy standing outside right in front of the register having a conversation. (I only describe them so youll know who they are if you go there). The store was empty with MAYBE one other person browsing. We walked around the store for a few waiting for them to finish chit chatting to ask if we needed help, LIKE THEY DO AT MENS WEARHOUSE ON MADISON AVENUE. We gave them eye contact they gave us eye contact and they STILL didn't ask us if we needed help. So I say "Can someone help us? The two behind the register look at each other and continue talking. The spanish guy comes over and begins helps us. At this point im bothered because they ignored us and after I asked for someone to come over, the two behind the register are BROW BEATING us and talking crap from across the room. Then another two people walk in and the female employee is helping them right next to us and giving me dirty looks. My husband was the one who pointed it out to me. I have to say, aside from the spanish guy who helped us, these two employees were the most ratchet workers I've ever experienced!! NO WONDER THEY ONLY HAVE A TWO STAR RATING!! NEVER AGAIN!!!! EVER!!!!!

I rented a tuxedo in Virginia for an event in New York City. Everything was great with the tuxedo but the issue came when I returned it to the store in Manhattan. I walked in and the customer service representative said that I was good. I asked her for a return receipt and she told me that they would email it to me. I was expecting an email in a couple of hours or so.I leave early in the morning so I stopped back by the store, since I didn't have an email from them. Once again, I was told that "you're good." I very politely told them that I'm leaving the store with the tuxedo or a return receipt, take your pick. Finally, the manager got involved and generated a return receipt for me. Why must it be so difficult???

'AT This Place'.. I guess u mean app. Anyway customer friendly is a Big Deal 4Me. U guys hit it out the park, easy even 4Me 2 Navigate....lolMan I miss my Regular shopping days, particularly @ 2 Manhattan locations.. Always went 4 the natural fabrics & seasonal colors.Guys u Want accessories & or vest.. Get 2 The Mens...lolI'm a Retired Pro ShopperSign... H. Rios!!

I was in NYC for a wedding Sep 30 and realized that I didn't have suspenders for my tuxedo, which I brought with me. The venue was about a block away from the Men's Wearhouse store #5470. I called the store and asked if they had any in stock, which they confirmed. When I was unable to find the store because of a misunderstanding, one of the employees walked a block to me, took me to the store, put the suspenders on my pants for me (while I was still wearing them) and got me on my way. I was very appreciative of his assistance, particularly going out of his way to help me. I was also glad that I didn't have to hold my pants up the remainder of the evening! I wish I had his name on the receipt, but it wasn't listed. Thanks again for the great service!

Horrid customer service and overall quality. Tux fit poorly and I was a day delayed coming back from the event and had called the store to let them know. They said no problem but when I dropped it off the manager wouldn’t honor because I didn’t get the name of the person I spoke to. Am I dealing with a mid level retail store or the CIA, getting a name what a joke. Go elsewhere.

This Men's Warehouse has amazing service. I went in at 1:00 p.m. on a weekday and Chris immediately came up to help me. He helped me choose the right size and provided style advice to go with the shirt I needed. Found a great shirt for only $60 two days before my formal event. The total time took less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend the store, I'll be coming back.

Definitely did not have a good experience here. Me and my friends came here to get rental suits for our friends wedding and boy did we encounter some issues. I wasn’t informed that rental suits only had some shirt sizes available with it and only found out when I went to pick up the suit. I put on the shirt and instantly realized the sleeves were too long and that I would not be able to wear cuff links. I told the guy who gave me the suit(he was actually the only one who seemed to care) that I should’ve been informed of this before I paid anything and how I was going to be the only one out of the groomsmen without cuff links. He said sorry but that’s all the rental suit comes with. Im like hmmm how was this detail left out? He was like idk but that’s what the rental suit comes with and that’s it. I told another lady that I would be leaving feedback about them not disclosing to me that the shirt would be long and she just looked at me and said okay nonchalantly. No care to fix the situation or anything. That was pretty annoying but I took it in stride. My friends pants wasn’t stitched correctly on the bottom and what was supposed to be “tailored” end up actually coming undone and my friend had all this extra fabric on the bottom. it looked super baggy and really ruined the look we had planned out ahead of time. My other friend also had a problem with his tie. So basicallly 3 out of 4 ppl had issues with their rental. Everybody but the guy with the beard was really inattentive and didn’t seem like they cared about my experience at all. I literally walked around the store and nobody said anything to me despite there being a whole bunch of employees and just a couple of customers. really felt like a hurry up and buy type of atmosphere which is unfortunate because it’s not like their cheap or something. Suit was nice but the overall experience was far from stellar. Can’t say I would be giving my money to this establishment again.

I never take the time to write reviews but this one needs to be said. I go in to pick up a rental suit. I'm told to scan the QR code and fill out the form. I can't get it work. I'm told to go stand outside for better reception and try to fill it out there. Still can't get it to work. After a handful of times my phone tells me I can't connect to the server. The employee finally begrudgingly signs me in manually. It took him all of 10 seconds to do that. Mind you there is only one other customer in the store at this time. There is no line, this could have been done the first time my phone couldn't get the form to pull up. So after this I'm told "go to the fitting room and try it on" while he ambiguously points towards the back of the store. So with no clear instruction I assume that someone is back there expecting me with my suit. I aimlessly head to the back, no signs for fitting room, no other employees. I wander for a bit and then I see another employee come out of the back. I tell him " I was sent back here to try on a suit" His reply is "ok" and stares at me. Now I feel like a complete inconvenience. "Is someone supposed to bring my suit? Or is it already in a fitting room? He tells me "go to the fitting room" It's obvious at this point no one wants to help or give more than the most bare minimum statements that are completely ambiguous. I say " can you just show me where it is and is someone coming with my suit or do I get it myself?" FINALLY IM GIVEN AN ACTUAL ANSWER. "Ill take you to the fitting room and someone is grabbing your suit". The employees acting completely blase' and annoyed only creates more of a hassle than just answering a simple question.I try on the suit. Shoes are way too tight. I ask if they have a wide version or a half size up. They have neither, just two sizes up. Fine, I'll deal with it. I tell them the groom asked for the sleeves to be showing more. The employee goes " looks fine to me". The pants are too big but at this point I just want to get out of the store.To top it off at the very end the employee says" I need your slip so I can check you out" I tell him nobody gave me any slip. He rolls his eyes and says"no sir the slip thats in the suit bag". How could I have possibly known what this person was talking about. All he had to say was could you please hand me the slip that is in your suit bag. Instead he reaches over me and grabs the slip. The whole final interaction was completely pointless. Why tell me you need me to grab something that I didn't even know existed if you could have just grabbed it yourself in the first place.Im sure this isn't the case with most Mens Wearhouses, but this was the most bizarre and uncomfortable experience I have ever had while trying to do to something that is so simple. The entire time I felt like an inconvenience and the employees treated me like an idiot. Maybe because I was in my work clothes they treated me like this? Or maybe nobody wants to do their job.

I'm a customer since 2007, since I got the suit for my wedding. I used many locations from NJ, to NYC but the best service I got it , is at 50 street location. Great service, tailor person very professionals (both). But the best was Alfredo, great attitude, professional and very helpful. Please add an option to tip your workers I really think that he deserved a 25% tip. God Bless

I have done business with Men's warehouse in the past with varying degrees of dissatisfaction. This location on 50th Street definitely goes above and beyond. John took the time to fit myself and my son so we were both comfortable and happy with the results. The in house tailor also made last minute adjustments so everything fit perfectly.

Finding a neck tie for my 13y son 7th july 2023 at about 6pm. Never Been treated so badly in a clothing store. There were at least 3 male salesperson present. Nobody greeted us, nobody took an eyencontact, nobody asked If we needed any help, nobody noticed us or even said one word to us. Only 1 or 2 other customers present. Grumby faces like we were annoying them somehow. My son was enthusiastic about his first tie and after we left with the purchase he asked why did they not like us dad? The lady at the counter managed to squeeze "have a great Weekend", points for her for sivilized behavior.I usually dont leave feedback but If you want to feel good about your shopping consider taking your business elsewere. According to other reviews this behaviour seems to be normal in this store.

Very pleased with the suit I purchased .. great quality at a fair price. Only issue was a customer service hiccup, but store manager James was a real professional and resolved the issue quickly. Highly recommended.

Do not go here!!! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. My boyfriend purchased a 500$ suit from here in store was told we could pick it up on Thursday (as we were flying the following day which they were aware of the day we purchased) he called ahead to make sure it was ready for pick up and was left on hold for 20 minutes and was told it wouldn’t be ready until Friday. I called them and was left on hold for 27 minutes, I called off of a different line to be answered straight away by the same woman and again was placed on hold for a further 8 minutes, I hung up and called back and asked to with manager. I spoke with James who informed me fed ex had lost the delivery even though we were called to tell us it was ready to collect the jacket earlier that week. I explained this and he needed to know was it a man or a woman who called us. He left me on hold for another 15 minutes and eventually picked up and just said “you can collect it” no apology. When I went to pick it up I was barely greeted at desk even though 5 members of staff were just standing there chatting. Highly disappointed especially when you’re paying a lot of money you expect a higher level of service
