I shopped at The Men's Warehouse at 650 Avenue of the Americas in NYC last night. Let me say up front that I HATE shopping for clothes. I've been dreading it for months but it got to the point that my shirts (which I use for work) were frayed at the collars and needed to be replaced. Well I'm very happy to say that I now own two new crisp and comfortable white shirts! I can't overstate how comfortable I was shopping in this particular Men's Warehouse. Selma waited on me and was EXTREMELY helpful, accommodating and patient as was another salesperson (who was bearded) whose name I didn't get. I need a black suit and will definitely be returning to this particular store. Furthermore, I don't think I'm ever shopping at another department store because my experience at this Men's Warehouse was so easy and pleasant.

This company just lost a customer based on the experience I had at this location. They lied so they wouldn’t have to take a return from another location. Terrible company practices!

I bought my first tuxedo here, and it took forever to get service. When I went to pick it up after I got it tailored, they gave it to me in a plastic bag.

My son was measured for his suit (a friend's wedding) in North Brunswick and picked it up in Eatontown. He was in a hurry, so he didn't try it on. When he got home, he tried it on, and it was two sizes too small.We went back to the Eatontown store this morning, and the store did not have a replacement suit. We were so lucky that Rob was there in Eatontown. He is the best customer service person I've ever met. He went out of his way to help us, asked the tailor to remeasure my son, and handled everything. The tailor (I didn't get his name) also did an incredible job adjusting the suit so that it fits well enough to get through the wedding. Without these two valuable employees, I would be writing a very different review. Men's Warehouse is very lucky to have these two kind and diligent employees. Thank you,SDuane

Few good employees that are providing outstanding service but most in this NYC store are very experienced and it is a painful customer experience if you are greeted and assigned an inexperienced associate. This NYC - Madison Ave store stills overly greets you with a sales person just as you enter. First two sales associates were so inexperience with different visits it was uncomfortable as they requested help and were frustrated with simple questions. Was able to get my Joseph Abboud tux pants alter and purchased two tuxedo high end shirts but it was such a poor expereince wityh wait times, slow tranactions, complaining about the POS system from employees and just overall lack of professionalism within store - literally felt like I was in someones backyard with comments and jokes about each employee and lack of equipments in store. Just an overall uncomfortable experience with lack of respsect of employees for employer an store.

Hello, it was my first time buying actual formal clothing and this one lady named Eeman (I don’t if that’s spelling correctly) took the time to help me with everything I needed. Great service from her and she recommended other accessories to go with my outfit. As well as helping me choose certain colors and giving her own opinion! Thank you mens warehouse and thank you Eeman!

Will and Nat truly gave me a fantastic experience I was able to purchase my dress shoes brown colored that I desired, and they fit perfect Nat was very informative and patient to make sure I had what I needed and will make sure the attire that I was looking for especially the color of my dress pants were top notch and I would be satisfied completely so I personally believe anybody meeting Excellent tailoring or apparel attire help this is the place to go with the best team

I made an appointment and when I arrived on time the worker at the front desk said, they triple booked my slot. So I asked for the manager and he pretty much said I have to deal with it and wait a few hours, the store was scheduled to close in 2 hours. I asked him why make everyone book an appointment, if you won't honor it. He basically said appointments are no good here!! It was so extremely unprofessional to treat us that way and he wasted all of our time, my best man time and my fathers time as well as mine. I'm getting married soon and it was a waste of everyone's time overall!! I will never recommend this location to anyone ever!!!! I had the feeling they triple book appointments on purpose to get people into their store and then deal with it whenever people arrive which is horrible! Which it isn't the way to manage a store! I'm also planning to send their corporate office an email as well!!

I have been shopping at Men's Wearhouse for years. I literally have spent tens of thousands of dollars buying their items. Several sweater purchases had to be returned because they were made so poorly-tears appeared in the fabric after one or two wearings. Today I went to Men's Wearhouse in Nanuet, New York to return one such sweater,". I explain to the manager, John, about the sweater, and he immediately disregarded my complaint, telling me it had to come from the dry cleaning. I explained to him that this is not the first sweater I purchase at this store that had this issue; he nonetheless was dismissive of my complaint, and refused to take the sweater back or credit. When I explain to him that I'm a longtime devoted customer who has spent thousands of dollars here his answer was "I treat every customer equally". I will never come back to this Men's Wearhouse, and as far as I'm concerned he is a poor example of somebody managing the nanuet store.

Very bad service at this location. The quality is subpar and wouldn't let me return a brand new, unworn Men's Wearhouse suit despite the "90 day return policy" that they advertise.

When we came to the store there were at least 7 workers, and none of the employees greeted us or asked for help. Eventually I asked helped from a female worker and she seemed very annoyed to help and spoke only few words when asked any questions. She made it feel like we were not going to buy anything. When we did purchase a whole suit she didn’t even give us a coat bag or anything, when we asked her she just put a wrapper. There was no thank you or have a nice day, she made it seem like she wanted us out the store.

I have bought a Calvin Klein suit USD400 and around USD30 for the tailor. First time a wore it two holes in my pants in the right leg. Ok it might be a mistake. And now 1 week after I am negociating with my customer and I see an other hole in the left leg... the service was not good but the quality and the tailor is worse than bad ... seriously... a shame

I needed a suit for a wedding about 2 weeks away. MW's Chelsea store appeared to have about half a dozen in my size per their website. However, when I arrived at the store I found out I needed a size larger than I thought. The salesman was super nice and helpful without being pushy at all, and we found a suit separates jacket and pants I Iiked a lot. But, the jacket in the color I wanted was not in stock in my size at the store, so I bought the pants and ordered the jacket with rush shipping to my home. It arrived today, exactly 3 business days later as promised.I'm writing this review because I think that in these days of broken supply chains, inflation & shortages, quiet quitting and generalized anger with almost everything MW deserves kudos for a transaction that was about as close to perfect as it gets. Thanks, folks, for a great shopping experience, and a discount coupon for my next purchase too!
