I do not like to see all the dogs in a grocery store all the time. Do not try to say these are service dogs.

Bad experience happened to me just today , Friday , December 29 2023. I have bought several items at your 59th St and 9th Avenue store , still at the register I have noticed that cinnamon roll bread was $ 8.99 and right away I wanted to return it. I thought price was just rediculosly high.So cashier called the supervisor for return ( it was between 7:45 -8:00 PM) a young female came and she stated that my card was no good for return(?) the same card that I have just used for payment. So she offered me to pay cash for the returned item. She took my receipt, given the cash and I have left the store. And on my way home realized that she has given me only $4.99 instead of $8.99 the price I paid for the bread. Note for Morton Williams’s management, when you hire a supervisor you should be carefully considered a background check on people before hiring a low life thief. It is not good for your business.

I work near here and it's a nice alternative for lunch. The hot bar has reasonably good selections. I appreciate that it is a full grocery store in the neighborhood so I can also get whole, fresh fruit. They also have an extensive selection of vegetable and fruit juices.

I came here the first morning we were in New York as a family. Being a 24/7 supermarket helped as I could get up early and beat any rush. Get everything I needed with no hassle. The reusable bags we also brought home with us as they were good quality. It's not like the rubbish we get in the UK.I'd recommend this store for convenience alone.

the people working here are great, and like family to me since I live around the corner. the prices are a bit higher but I don't want to stand in monster lines at the impersonal Trader Joe's far away.

This was GREAT when D'Agostinos years ago. Now it is THE WORST in this neighborhood. The 'female' manager is '?' very uncaring about any problems that have ocurred, and is just a ____, when asked for ANY assistance. The SUSHI here is THE BEST better than even any Japanese places nearby. Shopping here for decades, I was recently stopped and had my bag 'inspected' and I was happily compliant, the 'female' manager could not have been ny less caring. I understand all to well the need for stopping ship lifters, BUT at least an ; 'Ok thank you for your compliance' would have been HUMAN !, that manager was not saying anything, other than; 'OK' the worker that inspected my bag from TRADER JOE'S was greatly respectful, and very understanding. Littler wonder why there are so few customers at this long standing store that was D'Agostino for decades. The cashiers are EXCELLENT at their work, BUT, ????? I am a senior, and do not walk well, this manager had absolutely NO understanding of what was happening with me, nor cared in any way, her understanding of this situation was -0- . Littke wonder why so many of my fellow shoppers wonder 'why is this place so empty' --- Being treated as a criminal without any exonerated outcome, and/or a thank you for compliants SUCKS, and I do hope this 'manager' will get exactly what she deserves in her future 'stop and searches' for herself, and reacts as comfortably as I did ? !!!! Oh no you do not get away with this, without being held accountable Miss/Mrs. whatever you 'care' about for yourself....... 10231 1st Avenue Morton Williams 56st-57st PLEASE get management that actually cares about long standing customers!

I get their prepared food for lunch quite frequently. Usually decent and dependable. My main complaint is that the chef is mayonnaise obsessed. Anything pre-made that involves mayonnaise has about twice as much mayonnaise as it should. I just had some egg salad that was disgustingly soupy with mayonnaise!!!Lighten up chef. Let us taste the food!!

I’ve shopped here for years and have stopped for months because of poor management and bad attitude register clerks who steal your change. It never fails from different ladies day or night who all seem bothered working here always mysteriously “forget” to return my proper change from $1 to $5 and manager is not the least concerned. This location desperately needs new management and employees except for one brunette lady the rest can go along the rude older black lady stocking she’s the worst.

Love the variety of made-up foods and the fruit is fresh...my bag of cherries didn't have one bad one and they were really good. Not far from the Hilton.

Great selection and store hours. Buffet was a great option for delicious food and cheaper than restaurants. Food quality was great.

This review is for the 57th St. store catering department. I worked with Mike. Communicating with him was easy. He made a some good suggestions ( as he's the party expert!). The food was beautifully plated and the portions were generous. (Actually, weirdly, it was all better than the pictures on the website. How often does that happen?) And it arrived on time, delivered by two very polite gentlemen. I highly recommend Mike and this store for your next event. It was better than Whole Foods.

Really liked this two-story market with some delicious fresh fruit, a small salad bar, and paninis you can get warmed from the deli section. We stopped in a few times for drinks and to-go snacks for our hotel room right up the street at The Thompson. We had a turkey, spinach and cheese panini from here that was huge for $9 and was easily enough for two people, as well as a cucumber and tomato salad from the salad bar and some to-go fruit for dinner one night. Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend if you need some snacks to go as everything here is a high quality.

This is a 24 hr store and has an upstairs to sit down and relax from the stress of the city. This particular location has fabulous cashiers and staff. They are all smart, beautiful, and courteous people that smile and pack for you. I went a lot during the pandemic, and they were troopers. They are careful with the produce, the milk is fresh and lasts the longest in the city in my experience.Sure it's a bit more expensive than Trader Joes, but it's open around the clock, far more convenient and personal, the lines are 50X shorter and the selection is superior. You can find deals if you look. The takeout coffee, pastries and cake are very good too. I am glad they have been in my neighborhood for over 20 years.
