My 2019 VW Alltrack was purchased from Seacoast VW in NH in 2021 with 7,755 miles on it. It now has 29,400 miles on it. The sunroof's drains were clogged, and water leaked into the headliner and rear hatch carpeting. VW Manhattan says this will cost me $6,100, and is refusing to honor warranty. This car is still under 6yr/72k mi warranty and is covered under the extended sunroof warranty, as well as being one of the models included in the class action lawsuit and subsequent settlement. I have taken this car for all of its regularly scheduled maintenance as recommended by VW. I called VW USA and they are telling me that they consider leakage due to clogged sunroof drains to be a maintenance issue and they will not cover the damage. This is completely unacceptable. Will speak with VW Manhattan again tomorrow morning. Getting an attorney would be a last option, which I dread but will do if necessary.

My wife purchased her first veh, a Atlast Cross Sport 2024. I knew from the onset of entering the dealership that our experience would have been memorable. We were immediate greeted as we walked in, offered refreshments and introduced to our sales guy, Jeff. His knowledge and professionalism is what did it for us. On behalf of my wife and myself and to Jeff and the team @ ManhattanVW I want to thank you guys for providing impeccable service.Ps My wife loves the car. Usually she preferred to be driven around, but now I can’t get her from behind the wheel ?

We had an enjoyable experience at VW Manhattan! Both me and my husband were welcomed and treated great the second we walked in. Our Sales Consultant Tom H was knowledgeable and went above and beyond for us. Steve K also helped us out a lot throughout the process. This dealership was a great environment to be around and we are so happy that we purchased our first family vehicle with them!

Service rep (Carol) completely took advantage of the fact that I am a girl unfamiliar with cars and forced services on me that it turns out I did not need. My bill was astronomical. I went in for an annual inspection and oil change and walked away paying $1800 for services I did not need. I will not return to this dealership in the future, which is unfortunate as I was a loyal customer for 3 years.

Dishonest Scoundrels If you like long waits, liars, broken promises and less than crappy service then this place is definitely for you. Beware the manager I believe his name is Anthony Pinocchio he's the capo of the gang that couldn't be straight with their customers I can't tell you how many times I was put on hold for over 20 minutes and then when someone did finally answer they transferred me over to someone else another 10 minutes and so on and so on. this place is bedlam. There is no sense of organization or protocol. It's very willy-nilly seat of the pants kind of operation. I expected more from the German car company, but then again didn't Volkswagen scam, the world and its customers about the gas mileage that their cars were getting I believe they were fined billions of dollars . Well, that's my fault shame on me for going with a company that was greedy, shameless, and criminal. I'm not saying that the people in the-dealership are that way, but they certainly are not up to any standards that would make one feel comfortable and taken care of, the incompetence is off the wall. FYI waited a while before writing this review because I'm fair and believe in giving people chances , but time after time, they failed at every opportunity to make things betterThey are their own worst enemy And one more thing if you think of buying an electric vehicle, just know that this dealership only has one qualified EV technician that means you could be waiting forever before they even look at your carSave yourself the aggravation and and possibly having to hire a lawyer definitely go somewhere anywhere would be better this place is the worst !!!!

Excellent place for services and buying new cars. I've been dealing with this place for some years always had a good experience. The service manager Danielle she is the best, very professional and such a sweetheart. The mechanics are great as well they get the job done. When I trade in my volkswagen best believe I'm coming here! They have a customer 4life!

Typical dealership trying to upsell absolutely unnecessary “fixes”. Dropped my car for oil change, got notified that my hood latch is inoperable, needs immediate attention, and the agent calls heavily emphasizing that while they were able to open the hood, nobody else can and if I ever need any service or break down, someone will break my hood latch because it’s inoperable, it cannot be opened. Obviously, none of it is true. Absolutely no issue with the hood latch, it opens smoothly for the first try, but if I would not have done it just before the oil change, maybe I would have believed them and ordered the totally unnecessary change. Seriously, faking unopenable hood and even posting a video of a guy “trying” to open the hood “unsuccessfully”? It literally takes one second to open it with no problem whatsoever.

Such a horrendous unprofessional crooked experience. The manager was so disgusting with the attitude and behavior he spoke towards me and my family. He specifically told me with anger to go to another dealership because "I will not give you the deal you are looking for". He had his sales rep Patrick negotiate pricing with me in the middle of the streets of Manhattan but when I discussed pricing in the store, the manager completely disregarded me. Eventually came to an agreement, came in a month later when the car I wanted finally arrived in store and wanted to leave a deposit. The manager wanted to rip me off by switching up on the agreement and increasing the monthly rate. I had everything in writing on email and they did not care. This place is the EPITOME of dishonesty, unprofessional and scammers. They have ruined the experience of me purchasing my first car and doing any sort of business with them. I am writing this review to make the public aware to avoid going to this dealership. Save your time, energy and money and go somewhere else.

They took my car for warranty service. They said it would take two weeks and a month later they haven't even started the work.

Ok so today I went to Open Road Volkswagen in Manhattan and I am glad I did. I heard that the go to guy was Jeff. The manager direct me to Chris Garcia, well just to make to story short Chris was amazing, honest, yes honest, transparent right up at front. I had a trade in which they took it right in and at the end of the day I drove off on a brand new ID4. This kind of service is very hard to find specially on this kind of business where most of the time sales people are there not to make costumers happy, all they care is to maximize their commissions. Not at this place, Jeff you did a great job mentoring Chris Garcia, and Chris keep doing what you are doing honesty is rare to find and at Open Road Volkswagen Manhattan you will definitely find honesty and transparency.

Ask for Jeff! We recently bought our first car at VW - we worked with Jeff who was amazing. We don’t live in Manhattan and travelled in for the day to test drive a certified pre-owned Tiguan; Jeff made the process so easy, and we felt like he was looking out for us at every turn. Jeff worked with us to get what we felt was a good value for the vehicle we were trading in, he handled all of the paperwork in record time so that we could leave that day in a new car, and save us a trip back into the city. I would highly recommend VW Manhattan, and asking for Jeff specifically!

Two visits to VW Manhattan while on the quest to find another vehicle since my lease is soon to end. Not a single sales representative approached me. I walked both floors of the show room, nothing. Walked out, hopped back in my car as they lost a potential customer.

I brought my VW Tiguan to their service center because my roof was leaking when it rained. I thought I had more time on my warranty but I arrived they informed me that I had a few more months on my warranty but it was over the mileage (understandable). They said my best bet was to file a claim with my insurance and I should just have to pay for the diagnostic cost (and my deductible). I started the claim process with insurance while I left the car for the diagnostic test. They ran the car under a shower to find the source of the leak but called to tell me they couldn't find a leak, no water was coming through. I then sent over pictures from the last time in rained showing a huge water stain on my roof and water dripping on the dash. From these pictures they decided that the drains around my sun roof needed to be cleared, and "since insurance was paying for it" the drains should also be replaced. Again, this was after finding nothing from their own ($280) diagnostic test. They then sent a quote of over $4,000 for the repair and replacement of the drains, $3,000 of which was just labor cost. They quoted 12 hours of labor. While I was waiting for a response to the quote from my insurance company something wasn't sitting right with me. The exorbitant cost aside, the representatives use of the phrase "since insurance is paying for it" to justify the replacement of the drains made me think I was being quoted for more work than I needed. Even if my insurance did cover the bulk of the charges, I was still looking at a $500 deductible on top of that diagnostic fee. After a few calls I ended up bringing the car to a mechanic I trusted to get a second opinion. He spent an hour with the car and told me there was nothing wrong with my drains at all, that there were actually cracks in the plastic lining of my sunroof and that was how the water was leaking in. It cost me $250 and two hours of labor (he put a polymer in to seal the cracks). VW was going to charge me $4000 for a problem I didn't have. I know that I can expect higher labor costs and an up sell on services when I bring my car to a dealership service center over a local mechanic, but this was above and beyond. They would have charged me that crazy price and I still would have had a leaky roof!
