Barista is so rude and condescending. Does not check up on you at all and is very unwelcoming. She stared at the iPad to see if you left a big enough tip or not and waits for the receipt to print out and looks at the receipt and rolls her eyes as if she’s entitled to a bigger tip—service was horrible, she was rude, she was lucky we tipped. Just a really super entitled barista that worked this morning 3/23

The barista is very RUDE. She spins the iPad on you and never acknowledge your existence. And when she’s chilling she’s on the phone cursing out at her friends or whoever is on the other side. Im not asking for exceptional experience but this is simply on another level. It’s okay to not like what we do, but a certain level of professionalism is needed as we’re all part of the society and if we can’t even show the bare minimum respect to each other then what do we have?

Terrible coffee! I ordered a iced mocha and a cold brew, it was SO bad!The atmosphere is super cool, it looks super fancy and a chill place, but the coffee quality was really bad.

looks like a great spot but they don’t provide any wifi services to the coffee shop customers. I bought my coffee and they told me that there is no wifi available. honestly I think they should warn customers that who want to work

I wanted to go somewhere to work and have a nice atmosphere, and although I’ll give it to them, the aesthetics are amazing, the rest of the experience is awful. First off, they don’t even have Wi-Fi, what kind of place that markets themselves as a café doesn’t have Wi-Fi? (it’s only for their hotel guests) on top of that it’s always crowded and loud.Better off going to Bunny and Bro around the corner

Great coffee but they only provide wifi if you’re a guest at the hotel!

I didn't quite like the ordering experience. The barista just pressed some buttons on the tablet, turned them to me and just went straight to make "the coffee". I guess she did not fully hear my order since I had a ice water with some coffee and oat milk. I initially wanted a HOT DECAF OAT LATTE. It tasted way too bland with most of it being water -- I think -- which felt like I was just washing my mouth with it instead of drinking it. Although the cafe is inside the hotel, I was not able to use their wifi and their lobby lounge was a "separate" space from the cafe limiting the seating availability at the cafe itself. I got distracted often by the baristas talking to themselves in front of the tables and doing their own work inside the island.

Paper Coffee is a hotel lobby cafe at Made Hotel. I found a seat by the window with natural sunlight. Spacious, comfy and clean. The leafy greenery, wooden furnishings, and warm lightings set the tone for a pleasant studying/working/chilling environment. The only down side is their wifi is only available for hotel guests, but at least my T-Mobile hotpot works smoothly here.*Flat WhiteRich and creamy. A really decent coffee in NYC standard, and most importantly, with cute latte art.*Almond CroissantI won’t recommend coming for their pastries, but they do have a pastry box displaying a variety of croissants, donuts and muffins. The croissant was evenly spread out with frangipane. The texture was custard-y and reminded me of Chinese almond pudding.

I paid more than $10 for a hot tea and water, and then got scolded for sitting down. Apparently most of the tables and chairs are reserved for hotel guests which isn’t clear when you order. I wasn’t even trying to work or use a computer, just sit and drink my tea. The music and decor is nice but it doesn’t count for much when you feel like you are not welcome. The employees also seem exasperated.

I was looking for a cute cafe to do some work, and stumbled upon this place! This cafe is connected to a hotel, so you have a variety of seating, from the cafe seats by the window to the lounge type seating in the lobby. The only thing to keep in mind is that their wi-fi isn’t free to the public, so if you’re looking to work with a laptop, probably isn’t the place for you.I got a latte and it was good! It was rich and creamy, and not too sweet. I’ll probably come by with another friend in the future!

I really like this place. This is the only coffee shop I’ve found in the area with a nice, comfortable, and modern vibe. It’s a great place to meet a friend for a coffee.

Service was amazing, keep in mind no public wifi, very pretty decor inside. However, the donuts had disappointing dough and the matcha was expensive yet bland.
