Bad sales crew. I came to this store to wrap Christmas gifts and the sales people were extremely slow, didn't provide any valuable advice. I'm not sure, were they poorly trained? I needed a simple solution (I was also a bit in the rush to my live drawing session) yet their heads were in the clouds and they seemed to be unsure about their purpose and why were there in general. The guy start arguing when I've mentioned that they need to reconsider their sales strategy. Very disappointing experience...

I wanted to get journals. Since they put all tidying together, I couldn't even take anything out to take a look. I was afraid if I take something, other item will fall out..... cards sets are 50% off. (2nd box) this store is connected to the cafe so you can enjoy after purchasing something!

Tucked away between Soho and Chinatown is an unexpected Paper Source location. Since the great implosion of Papyrus and Kates Paperie closing down (most if not all) of their stores, it has not been as easy as it used to be to find a nice card shop that also wraps presents. Fortunately the ol' Yelp app helped me find this Paper Source location. This shop is interesting. It is not just a card and gift shop. It is also a cafe! The card/gift store is in the front and it is a very charming little shop. Don't turn too fast or you may knock something down. Things are really packed in. Then behind that is a small entrance to a cafe with a counter to the left and seating to the right. I did not go into the cafe that day but there were some lovely smells coming from it!It took a little bit of time to get the attention of the young lady behind the counter. She was *heavily* engaged in doing...something behind the counter. I just stood there waiting (not wanting to startle her) but other customers beat me to it. Once I had her attention she was more than helpful. I selected my gift wrap and waited for another employee to wrap the present. I was surprised by how long this took. The gift was a Barbie doll and it took over ten minutes to wrap. Mind you, it was *very* carefully wrapped and they did a great job, I was just surprised. The wrapping job cost $8 + the cost of the paper, which was a bit more than I am used to paying (another shop I've been to on the Upper East Side charges $5 + the paper). Still, I was in a rush so I went with it.In addition to cards and gift wrap, this shop carries a variety of gifts including toys, board games and puzzles so if you're looking for a gift this is a nice place to visit!

Nice location, smaller than the other but has a coffee shop in the back. Very loud. The selection here is smaller for cards, but had some good gift wrapping options.

Store closed without any information, and the staff inside wouldn’t explain or even notice the customers staying outside. Disappointing

Such a lovely little shop. It’s pretty crowded at busy times and hard to walk through. Grab a coffee and enjoy the courtyard :)

I came to the store and entered. I grab my card to purchase and was turned away. The sign posted said 6pm close and I was trying to check out even before closing… the associate told me that she wants to leave early and said come back another time. I asked if I can leave the cash for the card and she told me no. She then proceeded to lock up.

You guys have an extremely rude staff member that works there by the name of Kelsey she’s very unprofessional to her employees and she also lies about the return system To return a few items and I was told by her that I had to go to another location which is not true I’ve been shopping with you guys for so many years and after this experience I no longer want to come back.

Paper Source Centre Street Little Italy isn't one I visit regularly. I happened to be close by this Spring and decided to see the latest selection of greeting cards. It's typical excellent customer service and friendly employees. If you're familiar with Paper Source you know it's fun to look for quality items for gifts, greeting cards, and something for every occasion. I'm recommending you stop in if you're in the neighborhood. Unless it's closed it's doors since Spring!
