I've been going to Physique57 for over 10 years(all 3 different Soho studios over the years as well as FiDi when it was open) and it remains one of my favorite workouts! It is fun, all of the instructors are awesome- energetic, helpful with adjustments and encouraging. It was a great workout for while I was pregnant and during the pandemic I still enjoyed live classes at home. The new studio is nice but wish it still had showers. I go directly to work after but it seems most people go home and wouldn't utilize that options so I understand why they got rid of it. Physique is a hard workout - there is no denying it, but once you have gone a few times you get the hang of it and it is very rewarding.

Great new studio location with natural light. Class with Adam was challenging. Worked every muscle in my body. Extremely efficient workout in an hour! Great playlist and great teacher. Thanks!

By far the best barre studio in the city. High quality instructors and the studio is always clean + everyone is friendly. Most importantly, challenging and effective workouts. Kerrie in particular is amazing! Highly recommend

Great classes, amazing instructors! Clear instructions with demo, careful to ask about injuries or pregnancies to modify and available for questions after class. Happy to see them back in midtown In a beautiful new studio, clean, plenty of lockers, showe and towels. The staff is very friendly.

My favorite workout in NYC. Adam is my fav instructor of any workout class I've ever taken. I love it here!! After going for a few months, my body has completely transformed in a way I never knew possible.

The burnnn ohh the burn!! ??? Such a great class and Adam was just the best. I would 1000% do this again, my legs were shaking — definitely a hard but doable low impact workout.

So hard, but so much fun! I know hard sounds bad, but if it was easy you wouldn’t see results so quickly. I love the core focus the most- so does my previously achy back!

Physique offers the best barre classes in the city. I love Adam Dickerson’s classes the most! Classes are always fun, and challenging.

I have been going to Physique57 for years and I don't know where exactly to start. Physique57 is one of my favorite workouts. if you do Physique57 consistently, it is one of the hardest workouts you'll do. The ladies and gents are super positive encouraging you to keep going, even if your body wants you to stop. I'm currently doing marathon training, and I can't get to the barre as much as I'd like. I'll be back 3-4x week when I'm done. Just do the workout, you won't regret it.

Overall I love taking classes at the Spring Street location but the barre room where we exercise is a tad bit too cold - it AC seems always be on full blast. Also I've noticed that some of your customers/members use the restroom as a changing room which often makes the waiting queue for the restroom very looong... Maybe you need to address this with signs or something.Hope this helps.Cheers,-JS

My favorite workout. This studio is easily accessible by a variety of train lines. The instructors bring amazing energy and encouragement and the moves/workout is always challenging and effective. Highly recommend. The only thing to note, there are no bells and whistles to this place. Towels are not included unless you have an annual membership and there is no shower. They do have dry shampoo, spray deodorant, and a blow-dryer.

Perfect - challenging right to the edge but not too far you don’t wanna come back for more. Visible results after a few classes are motivating. Has really helped refine stabilizing muscles that have supported my running goals as well.

Physique 57 started my fitness journey in 2017 and I have been coming back whenever possible since. And I really like the new Soho studio. Barre with a view.

The best barre studio in all of Manhattan! A true barre class where using the barre is the focus, not an afterthought (looking at you and your weird step aerobics, barre3). Every segment of class is challenging (stretching intermissions come after long sections, not every forty seconds like PureBarre), and the instructors are laser-focused on perfect form (cf. Bar Method, where even the instructors don't seem to be familiar with how to do a proper push-up). The vast majority of the instructors have professional dance backgrounds and there's a real difference in their professionalism and vibe as opposed to the way-over-franchised studios like PureBarre, etc. And the new studio is gorgeous and light-filled (though I confess to missing the location on Spring Street).

I’ve been working out with Physique on and off since 2006 and it continues to challenge me. I’m so glad to finally be back in a routine post Covid. Coming to physique is welcoming, fun, supportive and challenging of course. I just can’t get the tone I’m looking for anywhere else. Physique4eva
