It was strange. The attendant wouldn't make eye contact with me, pretended I wasn't there. Told me there would be an extra charge for statements but neglected to tell what the fee was. Just sat there avoiding looking at me.

I have been a Banco Popular over 30 years and I never have a problem! I have a very good relationship with the staff, which are very nice and professional! Especially the Spanish speaking personal, by Houston and Delancey branches!

I feel they are wrong about obligating someone to use the atm card every month or they will terminate it card by blocking it automatic. That is ridiculous. No one must use their card mandatory monthly in order to keep it active. I have never heard of such thing in my life. And I deal with many Banks all over the states.

I love this bank. And the branch on Delancey st has the most helpful staff. And I was able to open my account with my SS card and my EBT card. Wich was wonderful for me as I was starting over from scratch and at that time I needed a safe place to keep my money. I hope to stay with Banco Popular forever.

Don't waste your time with sorry excuse for a bank. The worst experience I've had at a bank and mind you I wanted to open an account with them. Frencis is the worst
