Absolutely maddening - in nyc they’ve closed most branches and this 96th street is the absolute worst. You wait in line outside and once in, there’s one teller and just try depositing a check for over 5 grand and you’re there for an hour with two or three people milling about trying to just do a DEPOSIT - easiest thing in the world to do re banking tasks. The woman who is always there - older, long hair, she just can’t work the computer. Only one man there can make you deposits 5k plus happen and they always have to go get him. He’s good but system is so slow you need to allot an hour to make such a deposit. It’s just unacceptable and extremely inefficient. Worst bank you will find in nyc and 96th is where BP apparently puts their least intelligent employees

Only outside ATM temporarily not working for the last 2 month I’ve tried to use it…. Perhaps it was down before my need. They lost my court (which I had to go to court and get original again) papers permitting me access to account and took me 2 months to get things in order. The new manager even told by tellers who knew me for the past 10 years of the facts refused my withdrawal. I put in a complaint several time at Headquarters and never given a written reply as they did nothing. I went to another bank in the interim and I had no problem because I was told all the information was in the computer. I informed branch manager and her reply was that every branch makes there own decision. Imagine if I had an emergency and only other bank was in Montana. The need to fly because Mother is out of country in her death bed - an eviction notice If I didn’t pay by deadline.. a tooth extraction because of the pain etc. I’m waiting for an apology and a reply to what measures they have taken so this would not happen to another person. Maybe I should have said all the other withdrawals wasn’t me since you don’t the court papers on file allowing me to do so. I’m referring my grievance about the female manager being an a******* for the past 10 years all others have been wonderful, professional ,charming and some apologized on her behalf ( not their role but appreciated)

This bank does not have the features they used too. Somehow they have managed to disconnect my account from my own use and deleted my online usage as well. When I went into the bank to speak to someone they could not explain the problem. Simply that I needed a new card and everything would be okay. So I got my new card & still can not access the account. I MUST find a better bank. Sorry after all these years I got to go! Otherwise I will have to take time away from work just to keep going into the bank because they no longer have hours comparable to a working class person. No branches near my job either. Good Luck to anyone using this bank.

Popular Bank new ny 10025 is the most disrespectful to the latinos clients that i have ever seen before in any other bank. The general manager or whoever is in charge of the location speaks to customers in the most rude way. We will press charge soon.
