I wanted to purchase a fine jewelry piece from Marco Bicego. I was mocked by a sale assistant named Mehmet. He was extremely rude and racist. I will make this heard by larger audiences. He did not want to sell anything to me and almost yelled at me when I asked why he is being that rude. I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

I ordered from bloomies on line. I never got a bill, but got a letter saying my account was closed and delinquent as I had not paid anything in 3 months. I called and immediately paid the $82 I owed . Bloomies was nice enough to take off the accrued interest and she verified that the bills had been sent to a different address. So the notice of cancellation and delinquency came to my current and correct address. My credit score dropped over 150 points even though I never received a bill. I sent two letters via ups and fed ex to the CEO Mr. Tony Spring and there was no response from anyone at corporate. I appealed this decision and Bloomies felt that ruining my credit was justified even though I never received the statements. Yet they sent the letter to me at the correct address to close the account. I have had a bBloomingdale's account since 2005 and have never missed a payment and always paid my complete balance. I have had an outstanding credit history until now. Bloomies really knows about customer service, NOT. Trying to call corporate is impossible. It's either busy or keeps trying the number for 15 minutes and then your allotted time is up so it cuts you off! Karen from Savannah Ga. I wanted to give zero stars but that wasn't possible.

"Celebrating 150 years"--and it seems that little has changed since day one... The store is stuck in the dark ages. Dingy and dull, no creative spark, no excitement. Boring. You would think they had enough time to figure it out after all these years. Nope. You would expect that for this celebration of a special anniversary year, the store and its salespeople would all be in top form. Not to be. The only discernable difference is a new paper shopping bag with a Gucci/Goyard-ish "b" pattern... The store has not been a fashionable destination since the days (the '70s to mid-'90s) of Marvin Traub, That's when it was "like no other store in the world". In those days, being called a "Bloomingdale's girl" was a sort-of compliment. These days, it would be a terrible insult. After Traub left the store and took all of his marketing and merchandising finesse with him, the ball was dropped and never recovered... Who's in charge now? It seems like a ship without a captain. Bloomingdale's needs a creative visionary who can set a direction that keeps customers, and employees, engaged. Add a good restaurant. How about a hair salon? How about some events? How about updating the lighting and fixtures? And that website! Come on... Excluding the leased designer accessories departments on the first level, even brand new high-end designer apparel looks tired and old. The poorly-lit displays are boring, and nothing to look at. You can see the same merchandise in other stores, and it looks fresh and new, like something worth splurging on. Here it just looks stale and dusty. Nothing you'd want to add to your wardrobe. These days Bloomingdale's resembles a big high school, where all the teachers have left the building. Groups of amateur salespeople/students behave like they're playing hookie, loudly laughing together and gathering in groups to stare at who-knows-what on their phones. You interrupt to ask them a question about merchandise, and they just shrug their shoulders and provide no information. At least some admit "I don't know", but they lack the interest or energy to try and find out..."Customer service"? As you progress upstairs, out of cosmetics and apparel, a few more grownups start appearing in the less-densely populated home-centric departments. (The exception to this observation is Forty Carrots, tucked up in a corner of the luggage department. It is like being in high-school detention or a school cafeteria. A department store restaurant could and should be a meeting place, a destination, a fun experience.) On the bright side: If the goal is to make this Macy's-owned store into a "Macy's Uptown", they are doing a rather good job. Perhaps they should finally rename it.

Drop off/pick up. definitely need to change their staff.I had to drop off an order made online (10 big boxes) I asked help to pick it up from the car, Pauline respond to me “I am not a man I can’t help”Also made fun in the front of me with her coworker of my accent. This people shouldn’t be in contact of customers if they can’t behave.

I came here to shop with friends. I like that the vibe has changed from stuffy to more modern and chic yet upscale. I bought a Chanel lipstick and my friend bought some French connection clothes. I also like that there is the charging station at the bathroom.

The on line site sucks! I signed up for a credit card on 12/20 was approved but have still not received the card because the rep said " yet we're having plastic issues"! I may not get that card fir another 3-4 weeks so I cannot shop through Rakuten because they won't give me the card number nor will they add it to my account for "security reasons". No idea what that means since a Bloomingdales rep can input the card number but won't add it to my account or give it to me. How secure is that? Senseless business decision that prevents customers from shopping during the holidays.

Not a fan of this store. I will not be back. Disorganized men's section. We left quickly after arriving.

I want to give 10 stars only because of customer service I wanted to post this for a long time finally got a chance . So when I was in Ny a month and a half ago planned to visit Bloomingdales and as I was on the 3rd floor looking for clothes this kind employee there named Sonya went out of the way to help me . I was just surprised and humbled how much time she dedicated to find the right fitting clothes . I mean customer service is there to help you but I didn't find that willingness in others that day . I salute her patience and wish I could find her kind of customer service everywhere I go . So it's because of her I went there again to shop and was destined to meet Destiny she too went out of her way to help me find what I wanted . So friendly and courteous. Not only did Bloomingdales got my business. But left me with a feeling that good people still exist !!!

OMG worse customer service!!!!! I will be cancelling my card immediately . I bought two items, and returned the exact two items- they are saying I owe them 7.35$ I returned the exact two items. Now charging me interest in something I don't even tangibly have. Someone explain how in the world I owe money for returning the exact two items I returned. If bought at 261- why would I only get 254 back??? Scam! Do not shop here! Bye as a customer forever!! The absolute worse! And I typically love writing great reviews! But this is a scam horrible customer service. And the lady i spoke with was so nasty! I'm frustrated because they are charging me interest on items I never even kept.

The store is lovely. Very festive shopping experience. The staff are extremely helpful! Friendly, courteous, professional, and well informed. Eight floors of beautiful clothing, home decor, and an extensive cosmetics department. The staff are beautiful. Is there a screening process? Like seriously, who is recruiting these folks? Do the sub gor a modeling agency? The men that work at this store are gorgeous! I could go their broke for the eye candy and still have a great experience! Overall I had a great shopping day. Lots of sales and deals. Stop by Bloomingdales. You won't be disappointed.

I only go at the holidays, but it's an extra special treat. The staff are fantastic, and while you may be able to get things slightly cheaper online you do get the whole experience and the added extras of being in store. When I went today they gift wrapped a gift, complimentary, and it was so well done I don't want it to be opened!

No matter how many times I visit this store I always find the layout confusing. They do have a solid, broad selection of classics and on-trend items, so that's great. I get mailers and emails about sales and such but there are always so many small print exclusions to those sales that every time I've tried to take advantage of those events the item I'm trying to purchase is inevitably excluded so that I don't even bother with those sales anymore. I'm a mostly independent shopper and seldom feel the need to request help or interact with the sales staff, so I can't really speak to others customer service issues, but if you know what you want/are looking for, it's a solid option.

Store is for thin rich white ladies only. If you are not all of the above, you will feel it as soon as you walk in.

Every sales person in Bloomingdale's does the hard sell technique. Thru "claim you" as their customer when you walk into their department . Look they are lovely people but when I shop I basically want to be left alone. You work on commission I get it but it is so stressful having an SA up your shirt the whole time I just want to abort and leave.
