If i could give this pharmacy a 0, I would. Look elsewhere. The pharmacists are rude and unhelpful. I went 4 times!!! in one day, they said my insurance didn't cover my prescription, so I went home and called my insurance provider, who confirmed that they WOULD cover my prescription, but they never received a claim from my pharmacist. So I went back to the store and gave them that information, and then they said tough luck, it's too late that day to fill the prescription (there was an entire hour til closing time). I relayed to them that this was an emergency and that I needed the prescription today, not tomorrow, but they said there was nothing they could do. Like are you serious?? They had an entire hour til close at that point, and this wasn't my first visit to the pharmacy about this prescription that THEY failed to fill. Such BS. The lack of empathy was a smack on the face too.

Worst attitude ever!! If one of my employees treated a client like the pharmacy treats theirs, they would be looking for a job somewhere else.Got there 15 min before my appt for a covid booster. Waited on the line for Covid Vaccine Check-in for 10 min before being told that there is only one line. several more people joined the line while I had been waiting. After another 15 min, when I got to the front, I politely suggested that they remove the sign that says Covid Vaccine Check-in, so that other customers don't waste their time as I had. I was informed that this came from corporate and could not be changed and quite condescendingly that another sign said the line starts here, but that sometimes they do separate lines for prescriptions and vaccinations. It depends.I don't need attitude from someone in a customer service position. I'll get my booster at CVS

With the recent closure of the Rite Aid on Grand Street, all prescriptions were transferred to Duane Reade at Delancy Street. Recently I attempted to call them, was on hold for an hour. Tried again and after an hour of waiting went into Duane Reade and observed no one speaking on the phone. I put my phone on speaker while waiting in line. I saw Brttany Arrington the pharmacist hangs up the call. I told her she had just hung up on me. She asked why was I calling when I am on line. I notified Ms. Arrington that I had been waiting for hours on line. She became upset that I was questioning why would the not be answering the phone, the recording making it seem that they were busy with other callers, when in fact no one picks up the phone. She stated that they are extremely busy and unable to answer the phone. People have all types of medical issues and must occasionally speak with the pharmacist, if they cannot bother to answer the phone, a simple yet crucial part of their jobs, then I don't want to do business with them. Call them, you will see what I am talking about, totally unacceptable.

We came to here to pick up some snacks and for Farabe to refill their card. There were two cashiers on staff and no line when we went in. When they went to refill their card, the cashier had no idea how to do it. We had to wait for them to consult with the other cashier. There are designated lines to wait to check out but, I am not sure why a group of people decided to stand behind us when we were checking out. The security guard waited until I turned around and gave the person who wasthisclose to me the stink eye before telling them where the checkout line started.
