Just got back from dinner at Ribalta in NYC and wow, I’m still thinking about that meal! Saw this place on a list of the top 50 pizzas in the world, and it totally deserves that spot. The vibe was super authentic – felt like half the diners were actually from Italy, which is always a good sign, right? We had this mind-blowing truffle pizza called the Nobile and another one that was so good I can’t even remember the name. And don’t even get me started on the ragu pasta – absolute perfection. I’ve been to Italy a few times, and eating here totally took me back. Oh and the proper Negroni’s..Definitely check it out if you’re in the mood for a real Italian feast. Totally worth it!

Had a great meal here with family. We thought we might be ordering too much food but the portions are on the small side with the exception of the pizza. The meatballs were light and airy, the pastas fresh with scrumptious sauces, the Brussels sprouts cooked perfectly and the pizza crust was out of this world. We were tucked away in a corner so it was a little quieter. Would definitely go back!

Not sure about their world ranking of top 50 in the world, I have had better Neapolitan pizza than Ribalta, but it is a good Neapolitan pizza and certainly worth the visit. The wine list is also ok and is priced fairly.

This was a great pizza spot for lunch. It had a great atmosphere and was both large and clean. We were traveling with someone who was celiac and saw in a number of reviews that many people with celiac dined her successfully. When we arrived and saw on the menu that there could be cross contamination we were a little worried but due to the reviews gave it a try. The person who was in our party noted she was celiac so the waiter explained which pizzas she cookie get (the personal sized ones) due to the electric oven they used for the larger ones. I watched them as they got ready to cut and serve the pizza and saw them wash the pizza cutter and place on gloves before cutting the gluten free pizza and the person in our party who is extremely sensitive with gluten had no issues. I would dine confidently with celiac here as long as you make it clear to them. They definitely try their best to not cross contaminate and I think they wording on the menu is more just to cover themselves. Pizza was good all around.

I came here on a double date and thankfully we had a reservation. We had a table by the bar so there was def a lot of foot traffic. We ordered a bottle of red wine from their pretty extensive wine list. I ordered the Truffle Gnocci pasta and it was soOOoOO delicious! I'm aware that they are known for their Neopolitan pizza, but I was def feeling more pasta vibes and they did not disappoint.By the time we ordered our checks there was a line out the door and almost looked impossible to make it through the crowd to exit (very chaotic!) When we were literally signing our checks another waiter (not the one who served our table) came by to inform us that they needed to seat other parties. I am aware that most establishments prefer patrons to dine for 90-120 minutes and due to the efficient service we were closing in on about 60-75 mins of dining time. This was completely unprofessional in my opinion as we were literally signing our checks to leave so I wish he had been more situationally aware to notice that we were preparing to leave Ribalta. Between this encounter and the lack of managing the chaotic front line properly I have decided that Ribalta is overhype. If one ever *has* to visit then I recommend making a reservation and preferably not go close to dinner time, but for me and my house -- we are good on Ribalta!

I've been to this place and I have to say a real disappointment... the pasta is inedible, it doesn't look like an Italian restaurant at all, the only good thing it does is PIZZA. It's quite expensive, the waiters are kind, the manager is a good person but the food is a real rip-off
