There is a locally owned pharmacy on 8th and 113th that you should go to instead. I saw an employee going towards a door and moved out of his way, only for him to exit a minute afterward and hit me with the door, which has a window he saw me through. Turns out this is a manager, Ali. Nasty people doing a matching job of operating the store.

Not that they ever have anything in stock for you to steal, but EVERYTHING is locked up. No point in being a convenience store if the experience is always inconvenient. PLEASE stock the shelves.

Have you heard of "above and beyond" ? Welcome to the concept of "below and NOWHERE". This is the most useless, waste of space and I encourage everyone to change their prescriptions to another, more professional, and LOCAL store. Not only do we have to deal with the crime that is the US Healthcare system, you also get to deal with pharmacists too <3.All this aside from the fact that you need to wait for someone with a key to open up the locked glass to pick out DEODORANT for 10 minutes? The "security guard" that stands all day is sadly, just for show. Are other stores under this much lock & key in other parts of the city?#worsecustomerserviceexperienceever

Good luck trying to refill a prescription. The pharmacy just doesn’t answer the phone. I’ve called no less than 20 times and at one point, they answered and hung up on me. I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere because this is ridiculous.

I was seen in the ER was given scripts that was sent to this Rite-aid on yesterday. I have yet to hear from them that it is ready for me tp pick up. I call it takes over 20 minutes before someone picks up , I am placed back on hold and no one comes back to the line . I needed to know if I should come and pick up my medication. This is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL and should not be the way ..... It is sad that I cannot and still have not received my medications .....

Basically an unusable store. Shelves are empty all the time, the products that they actually do have are all locked up, and it takes too long to get an employee to unlock them. It feels wasteful to be buying basic household items online, but that's what I'm going to do because I can't rely on this Rite Aid to have garbage bags and tissues in stock.

Pharmacy never answers the phone!

This place is a joke, save your time and order from Target or Amazon. The shelves are empty and the ones that have stuff are locked behind plastic. I placed an online order for pickup and they didn't know what I was talking about. Been here about 30 minutes waiting for what I already paid for.

The pharmacists are very nice but the phone is never answered so there is no way to check on prescriptions, and the online system is not accurate.

Does the listed phone number even connect to this store? No one picked up in a two dozen attempts to call over several days. I couldn’t find out that my prescription was on back order without going in and waiting on a long line. The pharmacy lunch break hours aren’t listed on here or at the front of the store.

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that the Rite Aid stores downtown have full shelves, and this one in Harlem has what little they have behind glass cases. Can’t possibly be race and class related.Anyway, placed a pharmacy order for 2:45 and here I am at 4:45 still waiting the “20 mins” I was told it would be 45 mins ago, so lucky for them I had enough time to write a review. ✌️

After months of bad experiences, I finally hit the breaking point and will be transferring my prescriptions. While the pharmacy techs themselves are personable and kind, there is always a 20+ minute line and if you call ahead, the phone rings off the hook—I haven’t had them answer a phone call in about a year. When my son‘s pediatrician called in a time-sensitive prescription it took them more than 8 hours to fill it, which is not ideal for a baby. Also, everything is locked up, including individual chocolate bars. Either go to a different pharmacy or use an online system.

Used to be a friendly and efficient pharmacy. Now I cannot even get thru after trying all afternoon at various times to get to speak to someone. It’s frustrating and I know it’s not impossible to pick up a ringing phone. Can’t take it anymore.

There shouldn’t be a contact number for the pharmacy if no one is available to answer the phone. Medications are highly important and patients deserve the ability to communicate on the phone with a pharmacist if they are unable to make it to the store in person.

The store used to be open 24 hours and now it closes at 11:00 p.m. down from midnight. Also, everything recently got locked up behind glass which makes the shopping for basic items a terrible dehumanizing experience.
