Riverside park is a pretty park in the upper west side. Great views of the water and a good sized park and you can go all the way up to morning side heights. Great for bird watching too and plenty of benches for sitting. Less crowded than Central Park which is nice.

Very quiet park away from the tourists of Central Park. I enjoyed running up and down this area during my stay here. It's lined with activities like playgrounds, skate parks, and gardens. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a more peaceful park with a beautiful view of the Hudson!

Offers nice views along the river and when we visited it was fairly quiet. However some parts were sectioned off for building work when we visited so didn’t look great. Also on a really hot day there are large sections with almost no shade, far from ideal.

Great NYC park that has something for everybody including dogs. Views of the Upper West Side and the water make this nyc park special and unique.

We walked from central park up through riverside park to get to Dinosaur BBQ in Harlem. There wasn't much going on and the paths were incredibly muddy and waterlogged. It looks lovely in the photos I guess we just went at the wrong time of year in July. There are currently free roaming goats though which are fenced in just at the top of the park. They seemed friendly and came over to say hello.

Despite the heat, seeing the Riverside Park goats was a very worthwhile trip! Check out: to learn more about why these FANTASTIC goats are roaming around the park!

years ago I ran up and down Riverside Park with my running buddy. Now I no longer run daily. I love strolling down and enjoy the scenery of runners, dog walkers, baby strollers and benchwarmers. There are various children's playgrounds as well as basketball/tennis courts along the park. there is something for everyone!

I recently discovered this park along the Hudson river - it's the perfect place to walk, bike, jog, and take a break from the city. There are dedicated pedestrian and bike paths along the river with beautiful views of the GW bridge. At different points during the day you'll see performers and artists sharing their work throughout the park.

I am so happy my friends took me here. We came on a Tuesday afternoon after getting some lunch because we wanted to eat it at the park. I love how there is different levels and how green it is. It is very well kept and and so peaceful. There are tennis and basketball courts and a playground for kids. We sat on the hill and ate lunch and enjoyed the amazing view as well.

A long park along the Hudson River that's a great place for anyone such as bicyclists. It has a lot of good views of the river and it's pretty clean. Riverside Park is filled with lots of things to do and see. Mostly safe and there's usually people out. The bathrooms are clean too. It stretches a long way and it goes past lots of historical attractions. Mostly the park is a long bicycle trail with greenery along it. The park starts at about 72nd Street and ends at about 129th Street. Along the way there's lots of historic places to stop and look at. Grant's Tomb is the best known. There's also a few other memorials and statues. Along the river is the bicycle trail that most people use to get through here. It also has an upper path. There's amenities like basketball and tennis courts as well.

What a beautiful place! On my visits I've always gone to the Park, but somehow missed this gem of a park. Lots of green space, wide paths to bike, walk and run. I felt safe, because there were lots of people using this area. Definitely will come here again!

Pretty nice park that is perfect for walking, running, and biking. Since Riverside Park Conservancy is a nice long stretch that goes on for miles and miles, you will definitely have plenty of opportunities to enjoy some nice scenery along the Hudson River.

This is my favorite park in NYC. I prefer it over Central Park. It's more family friendly. While we were here today, we saw kids playing soccer, people sunbathing and picnicking. There is a path called Cherry Walk. It is supposed to be between west 100 street and west 125 street. However, I didn't see it. I will be back to find it.
