The Salvation Army workers were respectful and shown compassion for help of others need, so their needs were forfilled.

They have a food bank 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. (Check during holidays though). They are very friendly, and I love volunteering here when I'm able. They have a church service on Sunday, and other activities during the week including after school club. Everyone is compassionate in how they serve, and I'm glad they're here helping the community.

In the last month, I've had their pick-up service cancel on me two out of three times on the day of scheduled pick-up - very frustrating when I'd rearranged my schedule and made arrangements to be at home all day. Not to mention that I was left with my apartment looking like a loading dock. The one time that they did show up, despite having indicated on-line that I had 40 boxes of books, they refused to take all of the boxes. I had to wheedle and cajole and finally, offer to pay them, to take only 20 boxes. It's very frustrating because they're one of the few donation services that will pick up donations of household goods, books, clothing, etc. In the future, I will pay TaskRabbit to come and take my donations to another worthwhile charity. Oh, and to top it all off - they never gave me a receipt for tax purposes.
