Extremely rude, miserable, and unhelpful employees. Store is always messy and shelves are empty.

The staff here have become very trashy and rude. Sephora used to feel like an upscale makeup store, but now it's more like a convenience store where someone follows you around as if you'll shoplift. Also, I saw a staff member knock over a rack of items that fell on the floor with a loud crash, and over the next few minutes I noticed that they just picked things up and placed it all back on the rack to sell. No opening things to check if it was damaged or broken, especially the powders. All the fragrance testers smell like they've been there for years and you can't smell anything but alcohol.

I see all the bad reviews and wanted to share my positive experience instead. Whatever I was looking for, they found it, and even colour matched an objectively better alternative. Also, there was a deal for ABH products, which didn't work at checkout, so the girls were trying to figure it out scanning the products multiple times. All in all, I got more than I even needed and got help from 4 very nice ladies. ?

I went into the store in search for a particular item. I didn’t see any associates around to assist me when I couldn’t find the item on the shelf. An associate finally came up to me and asked if I needed assistance. I told her what I was looking for and she immediately said no we don’t have it, I already looked earlier. She did not even try to look for it or even want to help in the first place. When I checked online, it was in stock at this location so I placed an order online after I left to be picked up the same day. Seemed like the associate lied…..

Politely asked for help and was met with a dirty look, a mumble under her breath and she just walked away? The most off putting experience I’ve had in any Sephora. I won’t shop here again.The associate was a taller, dark woman with probably the worst attitude I’ve ever came into contact with. Why do you work here if you’re just so bothered by customers? I work with people every day. It’s really disappointing. When I brought it up to the cashier, she just laughed.

As someone with bad melasma, I was going to a public event that was packed and had Theresa cover me up. She did such a wonderful job and was super patient.

A BBIIGG THANK YOU to Cristal V for the amazing job she did in doing my makeup!!! Not only did she take a later lunch for me but she saved my life with some water while I was having a hot flash lol (worst timing)... I was ssoo worried after all the reviews but am beyond satisfied with the exceptional service Cristal provided.

Lazy employees. Ordered a product for pick up and it got out of stock because the employees are too lazy to do their jobs. They canceled my order after 2 hours. Pathetic.

I went there looking for a perfume i had previously purchased at another sephora because i wanted the bigger version. A tall guy comes up to me and asks if Im looking for something so I start to talk and before I could say the name of the perfume, he started talking to someone else, so I just looked for it myself, then he comes up to me again and says “did you ask me something?” (after cutting me off mid sentence and completely ignoring me) so I ask for the perfume and his response was along the lines of “no, I haven’t seen that, we dont have that here” so I proceed to explain that i had already bought it in a smaller size at another sephora to what he answered “no we dont sell that so ur not gonna find it here” with a rude and annoyed tone. I was with my mom and she also noticed how unprofessional this guy was. We usually love spending our money at sephora, but this guy was so disrespectful and we didn’t feel welcome so we left immediately.

They are constantly out of stock. They associates follow you around like they think you’re stealing (even though I had a basket with like 200 dollars worth of items in it). They were out of stock of half of the things I was looking for even though it says they’re in stock online. Just super disorganized and worried about the wrong things. You would think a Sephora in the Financial district would be little bit better.

I work in the area and decided to browse after work with some coworkers. I was still wearing my work badge, but a staff member followed me around the store to see if I was stealing. This is the third time this has happened at a Sephora, and it is pretty frustrating. Please do better. I have quite literally never stolen anything in my life. Not to mention my white coworkers did not get followed around the store, it was just me. I loved shopping at Sephora but now it kinda sucks to give my money to a company that has made me feel terrible.

The associates have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to makeup and matching someone to their necessary tones, or listening to what they are asking for. Their own makeup needs some work as well. They do not care about your time and spend lots of it talking to each other.

Horrible. I bought a bunch of things during the rouge sale (2 weeks ago) and went to exchange 3 items for another set of 3 items that were the same price.Throughout my time in the store I was constantly followed and harassed by employees and the WTC security guard. Every single section I went into someone was literally there watching me. If I wanted to steal something I would’ve (I would never steal but what I’m saying is if I wanted to do something I would’ve done it already) anyways, when I get to the register I tell the cashier that I’m exchanging, etc.. one of my items were not scanned (at the previous store) not sure why but that was not my fault. However, the cashier made it seem like I stole it. She kept asking me question after question about the product. And called security and made it seem like I was stealing. I had bought that product weeks ago (again, not my fault it wasn’t scanned. I made a huge purchase during the sale so maybe they forgot to scan?) however, they made it out to seem like I was a thief when I am not. It made me feel very uncomfortable being followed around, constantly asked if I need help, literally being watched, then accused of stealing. I didn’t get the cashiers name but she was on the far left end, short, dark hair & had a ponytail in her hair. I used to like this location because of the big selection but I would never ever ever go back here. They were watching me for “stealing” but I literally seen multiple people stela that exact day and they weren’t stalked or harassed but of course I’m black in American so I get stalked and harassed.

Only giving 2 stars because of the one woman that helped me. I didnt get her name but she was sooo sweet & patient. She was short, a long winged eyeliner & was wearing glitter on her eyes. Thank you for helping me sample foundation shades for my kit.As for 'Ash' she was nice at first, but once I asked for too many shade samples, she got annoyed as was rude as fuck. The employees act like theyre bored & just stand there talking to each other until its time to clock out. I got ignored by 4 people cause their shift was ending. Im a makeup artist & go to sephora all the time but this was the WORST sephora ive been to & wont be back. Hire new staff cause yall are fucking terrible.
