Was looking for a specific wine and found it here online, and they ship to PA (where i live) which is a major bonus, so I placed an order on a Thursday. Then read reviews here and got a little nervous from some of the 1 star reviews about shipping issues. Called them the following Tuesday asking about when this should ship, and they told me by the end of the week. They were super friendly and accommodating over the phone. And a couple days later my shipment came! So i just want to encourage others to ignore the bad reviews here. Very excited to try the wines I got, and will definitely be ordering from here again!

Don’t shop with them thy are never going to ship u ask for your information and later thy are going to use to shop with your informationI ordered 2 times and I had prove after 2 weeks thy never delivered anything thy are lier there customer service is so trash talk and thy never show response to solve problem so I had to call my bank and get my money backThis wine shop is fraud I was so just don’t know I should buy from them. I will stay away from them unless you want to lose your money

One of the best wine selections I’ve seen in the USA. The staff is helpful and the recommendations are not the typical “buy the most expensive and leave” type. They carry mainly organic wines and they claim to deal with ecologically conscious producers. They organise some great tasting sessions to discovers flavours from all over the world.

Very personable and excellent customer service, great selection of orange wines, fast delivery, will call if a selection is out of stock and make truly wonderful replacement. I couldn’t ask for a better experience …thank you so much. Can’t wait to visit and meet you all in person.

Do not order wine online from here, they will not fulfill the order or respond to you! I was looking for a special bottle of wine and they had it. I placed an order with 2 day delivery and 5 days later I had yet to receive tracking information and my friend never received the bottle of wine. I contacted customer service and I’ve gotten no response. If you're looking for a special bottle, my suggestion is to not order from here, go somewhere else.

As the name suggests, they have some good wine. I found the Some Good Wine shop thru Wine-searcher.com. I was in need of a bottle of Velenosi Verdicchio and they had it. The store is accessible from the W 4 St station, and is very convenient for anybody who works or studies at NYU.

I ordered online and immediately had a call the next morning confirming and making adjustments. Had a full case delivered across the country in perfect condition. Customer service is fantastic! I preselected do not send substitutions if you do not have in stock (they had it all so that wasn’t an issue at all). I will be ordering again!

BUYER BEWARE! Do not order wine online from here, as this place is a SCAM! I was looking for a very specific bottle/vintage and ordered a case. THEY SENT A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT VINTAGE. Upon receiving the order, I contacted customer service and the response was "sorry about that, it looks like we didn't check." They have done absolutely nothing to correct the issue because they likely never had what was advertised and what I ordered in stock. If you're looking for a special bottle/vintage, my suggestion is STAY FAR AWAY from this place and look elsewhere.

No one inside the shop was wearing masks and when I posted a negative yelp review about it instead of apologizing and fixing the problem the owner of the shop made personal attacks against me, tried to gaslight me and lied and said the problem doesn't exists. If he apologized and fixed the problem I may have even deleted my negative review but now that he's out for blood I may as well leave a negative review here. Don't go near this place. They don't wear masking during the height of the omicron surge and the owner is a liar and prefers to gaslight potential customers over enforcing city public health ordinances in his own store.

Who is operating a wine shop during the height of the omicron surge in one of the worst hit cities where not a single staff member wears a mask? I was going to buy something but I walked out empty handed because I didn't want to go near the maskless cashier. I'm pretty sure it's even against a city ordinance to operate your store this way. UPDATE: would just like to update my review after this business owners frankly rude response. That there were multiple employees in the store, none of them wearing masks, none of them drinking coffee. They just were not wearing masks none of them. And maybe in the future instead of making fun of a potential customer you can apologize and fix the problem instead of lying. UPDATE 2: After his original comment was taken down due to it violating the yelp terms of service he has come back with another comment accusing me of racism even though the person not wearing a mask looked white to me. Whatever, he's honestly pretty broken up about the fact that I called him out on this and getting so shockingly defensive you can make up your own mind. But maybe read his response and think twice before doing business with this person. I would have taken down the review and considered visiting the shop again if he admitted his mistake and fixed the problem but now I will never set foot in there again.

So the man who owns this shop responds to legitimate criticism by gaslighting women, telling them what they actually experienced never happened. By calling said woman a man. And then months later, apropos of nothing, makes fun of trans people with a crack about "preferred gender pronouns" - doesn't sound like a way to win customers back.

I ordered a bottle of wine with shipping and have never received it. I’ve called the store multiple times only to be told someone will speak to the manager and then I hear nothing back. I asked for either a refund or the product I purchased! I was finally told I’ll be issued a refund and surprise surprise, haven’t been refunded! Don’t waste your time, this store has horrible customer service!

Was looking to purchase a particular wine which isn't available here in Ireland. After finding it for sale on the SGW online store, I placed the order for some bottles, and promptly received a reply asking if I'd like to order some more bottles at a discounted rate with free shipping.Unfortunately, An Post's transatlantic shipping service would have charged me out the backside for the extra weight, but the offer was sincerely appreciated.I'd also made a slight mistake in the shipping address, which was changed for me without any fuss.Friendly and personable service, fast delivery, what more you could you ask for?
