The bank is no longer located at 420 Lexington, it is next to it. Located on the ground floor on the street. It is its own dedicated location. It is an actual Webster Bank. The staff are very helpful, when I went in a Monday afternoon there was no line and 2 deposit capable ATM's. They were polite and fast with service. I would recommend this location for those in Manhattan as there aren't many other options that are as good or centrally located. I added a photo of the new entrance.

Yelp is giving us a wrong address. A correct address is 500 7th ave. Bet 37&38st on the 3rd fl. There's a 4 couch you can wait there if you want. 1 ATM machine. They close at 5pm. The teller was quick and nice. There's no bathroom.

Cannot get a hold of anyone on the phone. I waited an hour on hold just for the line to disconnect. Received a check from this bank and it still hasn't cleared 5 days later. Check from this bank flag as scams for other banks

I’m not sure if its the management that has this place in scrambles but nothing seems professional here. Cynthia which is a manager at the branch does not help anyone. Isn’t that what managers are being paid for? What a disorganized mess

STERLING NATIONAL BANK IS GARBAGE BANK, RACIST AND ANIT-SEMETIC. The teller called me Jewish worthless animal. Absolute trash. I've suffered issues from long wait times with customer service, to being told four times that I had to go to a branch to activate my debit card (branch told me to call the number on the debit card to activate) to which the fourth customer service rep was able to activate the card over the phone, to problems closing my account. I absolutely detest this bank.

I am surprised how they survive in the market yet. One of the worst bank ever. Can you believe no one there in the online banking to receive the phone for over 30 min. I wish I could give them -5 star.

I had no idea it was possible to have such a bad experience at a business. Disorganized, time consuming, slow, lazy and rude. I wish I never went.

Stupid is stupid does sure fits this bank especially the one located at 4608 Francis Lewis Boulevard; this bank is utterly useless; I used the ATM and unlike other banks this bank only gives $20s so if you get a large amount like I did; $840; I went to the teller and told them I would like to exchange the small bills for $100 bills they refused; so expect them to take your ATM fee and only give you $20s and refuse to exchange for larger bills; I will take my business to other banks like Citibank or Chase and I suggest others to too; oh yeah and they do not give cash advances; I will relay this to my family as will and have them close their accounts at Sterling National Bank; also TD Bank does much better business than the as well.

Was a member of Astoria Federal and never had any problems. I would say the second it was bought by Sterling it was almost as if they tried their hardest to be bad at every aspect of banking. They shortened their hours, got rid of so many branches (without proper warning) the app never worked, all in all WORST BANK EVER... it's taken me a couple weeks to leave, simply because there are no locations and the locations that are open most of them aren't full service branches. Stay far away.

SNB unfortunately bought out a great community bank, Astoria Federal, and it shuttered all but one branch in Manhattan which doesnt even have an ATM on location. App is terrible and cant handle mobile deposits. Will be closing my account.

This bank business online support and software is periodically down or not working properly. The bank fails to give timely notice of updates and has difficulty ironing out bugs in the new software. Each of the two update degrades the user's ability to access information and perform transactions in a timeless and seamless manner. Customer service at the business level can best be described as an oxymoron. Instead of professional efficient service I am met with a tirade of platitudes and sycophancy which is unresponsive and undesired. I joined this bank before it was acquired by Sterling and regret not moving immediately.

The worst bank in world. Their banking app malfunctioned on me and they expect me to physically come in and take time out of my work day to have t fixed. Isn't the point of a banking app so you don't have to go in person ??

Sterling is on the 3rd floor of 500 7th.....the rating of 1 star is because of the service these employees here provide. You would think two older gentleman (tellers) would know and have the knowledge of the computer system they have but no not here....what would’ve took 10 mins anywhere else to cash a check took over 50 mins here. Asking a manager as to why it’s taking so long the response received is a general statement like reading it off a piece of paper. Try to avoid this place
