Giving 1 star for the horrible customer service (call center) I’m big on CS and because of my experience with the attitude and smart remarks from the rep Able I will take my money elsewhere. Made three small orders for store pickup today($80 total) and call the store to cancel my items per Abel’s request. My experience at the store in Columbus Circle has ALWAYS been pleasant EXCEPT not being informed about the rewards program. Other than that myself and my children are there all the time and do not have any complaints about the staff at that location I always enjoy visiting the store even if it’s only to window shop.

We attended a cooking class for the first time, learning how to make sushi. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. The cost didn't match the value—we had to share ingredients with another couple, and the portions were insufficient. The class also lacked consideration for dietary needs; for example, someone had to bring their own gluten-free soy sauce. The amount of tuna and shrimp provided was not enough for four people; ideally, each person should have received enough for two. Additionally, the chef didn't wait for everyone to be on the same step, leaving us feeling rushed and falling behind. We had to figure out certain steps on our own. It would have been better if the chef had slowed down and paid more attention to the entire room. At $85 per person, it was not worth the price. We do not recommend this class.

This review is specifically for the “Dolce Vita desserts” cooking class. Emily was a fantastic instructor and brought great energy and encouragement to the class (especially for a Sunday morning!). She struck the right balance of detail without overwhelming us with information, while also paying attention to all groups.Who you are paired with (groups of 4) could make or break the experience. We lucked out and were paired with a lovely couple. There are restrooms and water and coffee beverages served. The amount of desserts (3 types) created was more than enough food to split between our group of 4. We left with plenty to take home.Within a 2 hour class, certain pieces had to be prepped in advance, but Emily did a good job of calling this info out and you are emailed the recipes after class.

Pasta Anniversary date!I brought my wife here as an anniversary present. We've never done a cooking class before but we do cook together often at home. I thought it'd be a nice change of pace and a chance for us to expand our palates. We signed up for the pasta class--making bolognese, egg yolk ravioli and papardelle pastas with a citrus arugula salad. The ravioli was decent but the other pasta and salad were amazing. We were also able to sample a lemon tart and purchase some needed kitchen items at a minor discount! The staff were very friendly and attentive. We are looking forward to taking another class! Thanks for a wonderful experience, Chef Tanya and crew!

Very rude staff, very bad customer service, the girl who helped me treated me in a very bad way and even spoke to me quite badly.

Rude staff. I mean they take aggressive and unhelpful to a whole new level. John in particular is one very rude person. Avoid this place! There’s a Williams Sonoma one black away. Go there. They’re so nice in that store.

What a quaint store, the employees all wear silly outfits and do a fun little dance when you walk in. I noticed lots of poor reviews about the restroom situation, to which I heavily disagree. I was personally escorted to the bathroom to conduct my business. While I was initially apprehensive, my worries quickly melted away when I discovered that ornamental design of the urinals and 2 water slides (free to use)! Not to mention, they also let you smoke in the bathroom. Overall, great experience, and if you’re not let into the bathroom, then you probably just don’t deserve it.

Very eager to help you leave the store. Better to just buy online.

Very rude and stuck up staff. I had the same experience as others; I asked to use the bathroom and the woman had the audacity to point at the TJMaxx across the street and told me to go there.

Tried to order *ONE* simple item online for pickup and the order was never ready (over 24 hours). I tried to call countless times and no one ever answered the phone. Completely wasted my time during the holiday season.

Terrible customer service. Long line at the cashier. But good product line up if you are a baker. If you need anything from here, just shop online, and skip the physical store. not a great experience.

Called the store for support regarding an order I placed. The sales representative was rude and unwilling to listen or help. I regret ordering from this place.

Really rude staff here. Overpriced used items that they are trying to pass off as new. Buyer beware. The place has gone downhill. It also smells like sewage.

First they sent me the wrong item. Then I had to return the wrong item at the UPS before I could receive what I had bought. Will never buy anything from this company again.
