I had just opened an account here before reading some reviews. I really don't understand why a bank would ever close your account. And leave you in desperate need for cash.This has to stop immediately. This is like quitting a job you have that is so important . They take no consideration,no responsibility to give the customer an answer why they quit on you. And you leave the bank with no cash in our pocket to eat,pay bills or send to cash to help a loved one or friend in for cash. This has to be illegal somewhere across the lines. And two more things no one is held responsible for this action, And another ,Why do they have to send in a request to give you a cashier's check on the spot. They act as if they don't have any money. I'm reallydisgusted right now, I'm sick to my stomach.

The negative reviews of this bank are outdated, TD obviously monitors comments and acts on them.In our case, on a recent visit to New York, we had inadvertently left our cards in New Hampshire and needed to get replacements. Both the store manager who dealt with me and the senior cashier, who served my wife , spent some time and effort with the online system(which is not TD’s strongpoint) to generate new cards . They were pleasant , efficient and succeeded in rectifying our self induced problem. It is only fair to provide an updated review.

I’ve been a costumer of TD Bank since 2017. Few years ago they closed my bank account without giving me a heads up. They said that they sent me a letter which I never received. However, when I went to the bank, they said they only needed my documents to be updated and that was all. They opened another bank account for me so I was convinced to keep being their costumer. Last night all by sudden I realized that they closed my account again. When I called, they said that I could go to any branch to have an answer. I came to their branch located on 1619 Broadway. Again they gave me ne explanation. I asked them to give the money left in my account and they said they would send a request and they didn’t know how long it would take. This is while I’m traveling in one day and for the official process I need my open bank account as a provided document. I don’t have it now and this is the worse thing a bank can do to their costumers. Their costumer service are not helping much and instead of acting professionally and understand your frustration, take it personally and have an attitude. The person in charge came to me after few min ( this is not a concern) but she asked me to sign to close out my bank acoustical to have my money. I complained that it wasn’t my request and they closed my bank account. She was about to grab the pen from my hand which was very unprofessional behavior. The only answer I got was a « I don’t know ».Please do not go to this bank. Other banks can provide you a very better service.

Stay away from this service location. Every staff in this branch needs an attitude adjustment. They are incredibly disrespectful to customers. Are excessively rude and the security guard is always talking on her cell phone.I've been banking with TD for years now and this is the first branch where I have seen so much unprofessionalism and disturbing behavior toward customers. Poor customer experience is should never be an option... this branch is giving TD such a poor reputation.

Almost every morning Mon to Fri Bet 6:30am 7:00am a RUDE lady stands outside the bank and doesn't let me in to use the ATM telling me to wait 15 minutes when the ATM machines are separared from the actual branch she does this almost all the time when I am rush to work and I need cash and because of this Lady I go to work with no Money sometimes. Please TD bank do something

This bank won't make available my money on my account they are liers hold deposit to do who knows what don't do business with this bank you'll regret it. They don't care .

Went into TD bank on my lunch hour to close an account. Front desk pointed me to customer service on the side and it was an extremely long wait time. There was only one person working there, I waited over 45+min in an empty bank as they were working on 1 customer. Made eye contact so that they know I was waiting but in I couldn't wait any longer. Extremely slow branch customer service department.

Like the previous viewers said very rude tellers and manager too. I was waiting to use the ATM and what I would assume to be their boss Thomas was a bit rude to me. He then said something to the other teller once he entered the bank and they closed the door. Your location needs BETTER customer service or find a new job! I wouldn't visit this location unless it was an emergency.
