I have been going to this particular branch for several years. But not anymore!!!I called on a Sunday asking if there will be a notary on premises on Monday and if I need an appointment. The girl on the other line with street slang reassured me that there will be one and NO APPOINTMENT needed.Well…I arrived on a Monday at 1 pm with two forms to be signed and notarized.There was only one customer at the tellers. And me in the mid of the bank asking for notary. Three people sitting at desks. Diana Rivera, notary asks we what I needed, when I told her notary and explained about my phone call day before…she gave me an attitude. She didn’t tell me to sit down, I stood in mid of bank for two min. When I finally asked if I should sit she nodes without even looking up at me. She was so rude, unprofessional, mean and disrespectful, I just could not believe the treatment I was getting.She ended up helping me after a 10 min wait. Nobody in the bank!!! Still with a rude attitude of me not having an appointment, she was too busy but is helping me as a courtesy and if I knew this service was free. She ended up repeating the free service and her giving curtesy treatment five times during our 5 min interaction. I thanked her for her signatures and seal and walked out shaking. In uttering disbelief this has happened. I called supervisor, he was at lunch, afterwards left two messages, and now have waited 24 hours, still no phone call back. Will never go back. Customer service in this branch is nonexistent. You are treated with unprofessional and rude staff. Disappointed overall.

I was looking all around NYC today to get papers notarized. Many places were either closed or not doing notarization anymore. I was relief when I met Johnathan Santos in this TD bank location. He was very considerate and understanding of this difficult time with Covid. I got my paper notarized and no charge. Thank you so much.

This bank has one of the best service branches for TD. If you want customer service, choose representative Blanca, she is a sweetheart ♥️

Staff is super nice. They are always very polite and helpful with everything. Way better then PNC with overdraft fees. Here you only get hit once for $35 if you're overdrafted at PNC it's $35 everyday for like 5 days if you are in that kind of position. Plus the ATM gives you a choice of what bills you want.

at the td bank in the kips bay section of manhatty on 2nd ave and 32nd st and its my lucky day as only one teller is working and the lady customer seems to be doing a months worth of transactions while i am waiting 15 minutes for my turn . come on td bank get some help or have the manager get off her butt and help a brother out , i gotta get to work . thank you for the free pens, lollipops, dog biscuits but adding just one more teller would be wonderful. i will still give 3 stars cause the atm machines are really advanced and easy to use and the folks who work at most td banks are very polite and friendly .all i need is for td bank to bring back the coin exchange machines back and i will add another star on my future reviews .

Totally had a bad experience at this location. My wife had problems with her new TD account and without a good explanations, she was notified that her account is being closed. At the initial location we went to open the account (TD on Flatlands) we had a reasonable experience. The manager really tried to explain the situation and he did his utmost best to help and retain us and I appreciate him for that. I thought that I would get the same good experience at all the TD branches, but NO THAT IS NOT THE CASE.

Jamilla is an outstanding customer service representative and a role model that projects the integrity and the professionalism of TD bank. This young lady was polite, detail oriented, quick, and diplomatic at the same time. She was able to answer my questions about international transaction fees and other related banking fees.

I have been banking with TD bank for 12 years every since I was with commerce and it merged to TD Bank. In all my years I deposit my paycheck the day before and was allotted $100 minimum which most of the time I don't really take out. I encountered this shady Teller all I wanted was $40 from what i am allotted she said I have to wait until Friday (but wait the entire check hits the account on Friday and the day b4 u are allotted 100) she says they do this as a courtesy..Well I have never heard of this courtesy for the past 12yrs! She said because the check is dated for the next day.. one of the workers that been there longer then her didn't even back me up. I called TD Bank themselves and they said what the tellers on TD Bank Kips Bay nyc was false how i am allotted at least the 100 soon as I deposit it. I may continue to bank with TD Idk yet but I will never go to that branch again in life and didn't appreciate as loyal as I am to TD bank and going to that branch in particular how the veteran Teller didn't back me up at all and stabbed me right in the back! As for that shady teller giving me a hard time when she isn't reciting correct procedure and policy you was unprofessional with no care of losing customers. I'm extremely disappointed I know my rights and this wasn't justified!

This bank is really nice just not so nice when it comes to giving you a refund. They have this weird system of giving a client a fee every time the account goes negative, even if you deposit in the same day! Ex. I had a $585 deposit but the account was used and went under by $5 so then charged the $35 even though I had this deposit done the same day. According to their records. What a sly way of tricking people and charging as many fees as possible! This isn't really ethical. The bank representative was very nice but took the time to explain the system will simply charge the fee even if the money was placed into the account the before it goes negative. The system won't accredit the money the same day... This bank also charged my account for someone else's check entirely. I had to call and be on hold for 45 minutes until the money was placed back into my account. This is really different. I've never had this happen before. I'm leaving this bank for good. Ironically their slogan is bank human... This style of banking isn't so human.

I've been a customer of TD Bank for years. However, I've decided to change to Chase Bank. Why? Because this branch of TD Bank is by far the worst I've ever been to. I work in the area so I've been coming here for almost two years since I've started this job. Almost every time I come here, the tellers have been rude and unpleasant. I ask for brand new bills from time to time or coin wrappers which isn't too much to ask for if you're a customer. In the beginning, I thought maybe I just caught one of the tellers on a bad day - we've all had those days where you don't want to deal with customers. However, I've noticed that it's been getting worse and worse to the point where I don't want to step inside this branch. They sigh or straight up refuse my requests. I thought I was being overly sensitive but I've been going to Chase and they're all really nice and friendly to me.
