I have cognitive dissonance. The salesperson knows a lot about Dr. Martens shoes and helped me choose a pair, but he spoke to me so rudely that I lost my ability to speak. It’s unpleasant because today is my birthday, and I came to treat myself with a new pair of docs. Please, be polite with your customers. Thank you.

First of all, the employees were very rude and publicly saying bad things about the customer that just walked out.When I walked in, I showed them a pair of shoes I found online and asked if I can try them out to check out my size. And she just asked me “what size” so I picked up a random shoe that kinda looks my size to check its size(because I didn’t know my specific shoe size). Then she asked me “why are you picking that up.” So i said I want to try them on to see what size I am. And she was like “yeah, why are you trying THAT shoe. That’s not what you want,” as if she wants to fight me. I had to repeat the same thing again and that’s when another person intervened and told me they will probably fit differently since the one that I want are heavier shoes (but also in an aggressive way).Then the guy went away to grab the shoes, and the lady was just standing there telling me to check my current shoes for the size (as if I didn’t know that exists). So I told her I can’t find the shoe size for my current pair of shoes, and just asked her if I can maybe try size 36, only to hear “It’s European size,” when she could have easily converted that into a US size.When I wanted to check out a different pair of shoes, I had to bring the shoe across the room to ask, while she was just staring at me from the counter the whole time.I also work at sales and I do feel bad for walking away after trying the shoes on but I also didn’t want to buy at the store after being treated horribly. Some people are talking about bad customer service in the comments and I am not sure about if we are talking about the same lady here but she’s really ruining the brand image!

So I have a big show in NYC with my band BETTY next week and I wanted to buy some Doc Maarten boots. I went to the store in Soho and I had the best service by Juliet! She really took the time and care to help me find exactly the right boots to match my outfit for the gig. I will always go back to that store for friendly, great service!!

I never write reviews, but I honestly had to after my wonderful experience with Maggie at this store.I was planning on just browsing , and ended up buying two pairs of shoes!She was so knowledgeable and engaging and invested in the company. I don't know if she was the manager or just an employee, but she made me care about the brand, which is something i generally don't care about. She even showed me her awesome limited edition styles she keeps in her locker!I honestly can't say enough about how happy and refreshed I felt after conversation with her and my new found love of Dr Martin's!

Pearl was amazing! About a month ago I thought I knew what I wanted and was going to just swoop in and make a purchase without trying the new shoes on but she explained how the Oxfords are sized a little differently. I almost made a HUGE mistake but Pearl saved the day! Thank you again! They fit like a glove

I don't think that I've ever had a more positive experience in a store than I did with Olivia today. She was gracious, helpful, and fun as I tried on multiple styles and sizes. An all around great person and experience - I will be going back to this location for her when I inevitably buy more Docs.

The tall white girl that's the manager is awful, I asked her a simple question and she offered no help instead was condescending and rude. How are you the manager and not competent enough to help customers? Seems like if you're a white European tourist she'll like you though.

Great selection of footwear and i would have made the purchase...however, customer service from some salespeople is sub par. Gender neutrality and being respectful of a customer request should be taken into consideration...and not based on the salesperson assumption.

We had an amazing experience at this store today with Juliet. She helped my daughter pick out a pair of boots early this afternoon and was incredibly helpful and personable. When we had to come back a few hours later because our bag was stolen and we needed to replace my daughter's shoes she went above and beyond to make sure we left with everything she needed. Can't thank her enough!

Me and my boyfriend wanted to try on a pair of shoes. It was clear the lady who helped us was very nice only because we had KITH & Aime Leon Dore bags. We both tried one pair of shoes and didn’t like the fit. The size was good but the material felt like we would get a lot of blisters from the shoes. We told the lady who helped us we didn’t weren’t taking the shoes. Me and my boyfriend were considering a different pair… and wanted to ask her about it.. but since we said we weren’t going to take the shoes we tried on we got a very sour look and she rolled her eyes at us and basically ignored us. She even said “ok whatever”. It was extremely rude. We decided we would leave.. we got Dr Martens shoes at a different location.. we would have spent the money at this location if it wasn’t for the rude lady.
