they need to either shut this place down or get new managment. i called usps and the said there is no number to speak to the manager. also when you try to contact them , like idk "because the address is wrong on the package so they wont return it, they mute their phones. pick up and hang up... the guy working at the pick up location needs a new job.... horrible service.... this has been happening way before covid so if they try that excuse bs!!!! thats why they have bad reviews .... no one does nothing about the problem they should be ashamed that they call themselves employees at this location.... they need new serious management!!

Seems like a hit or miss experience, one star for the few visits with clerks who were pleasant, but some are beyond rude. Not my fault I have to mail my rent monthly or that they seem to hate their jobs, but the few seconds of interaction I had with the clerk today was especially unpleasant and enough to make me write this review. I don't need to be treated like s*** while I'm just trying to mail something.

I wish Yelp had 0 Star so I could give to this place, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, The USPS should FIRE THEM ALL, and reopen with a brand new team, no manners, attitude, are some of the things to describe the ppl that work there, I recommend to find another one even if you have to walk longer distance or take public transportation, it's better then be insulted by the workers of this place.

Totally rude here and no clear directions for patrons. Waited on line for an hour to get passport assistance with no clerk to help. Other clerks behaved as if they couldn't be bothered. Just avoid this place---the workers here are rude and totally careless.

Slowest, most unfriendly service I've ever experienced at a post office. Unfortunately it's the one closest to me so I've been multiple times and it makes no difference who is working. Every single person is miserable and running out the clock trying to do as absolutely little work as possible. Horrible horrible service. Unbelievable they get away with it.

Horribly run post office. Received an attempted delivery notice yesterday, put in for re-delivery today, item has "already been returned to sender". No wonder the Post Office is whining about having lost business. ANY OTHER delivery service is preferable. Cathedral Station Post Office, "**** YOU!

STAY AWAY!!!!!! MOST are RUDE and charge people they don't like MORE. If you have to go there - use the SELF SERVE KIOSK unless you want your day ruined by a nasty b*****

I grew up in this hood, and only come to this branch once every month or two (with today the latest visit) but I've never had a bad experience. Service perfectly fine, and today quite friendly. There can be a wait when picking up packages but never to an excessive degree in my experience. Do people sometimes go a bit overboard with reflexively hating the post office, or am I just exceptionally lucky? I guess we'll never know.

Had to pick up a package here that I got a peach slip for on a Wednesday, around noon, queue in the wrong line was something like 8 minutes long, then the postal worker told me I had to go to window 10/11 for pickups, waited another 5 minutes in line for 10/11, and was able to pick up the package, wait wasn't bad, but may be on other days, still faster service than other POs I have been to and it was easy enough to get the package held at the PO online. And, as a side note, I am bummed I was sent over to 10/11 bc the main line window I ended up with had this totally cool geode n shiny rock display assembled by the teller that I wanted to look at, fun.

Whenever i i go to pick up a package i wait 10+ minutes. I'm sure the federal government doesn't care but cmon can you staff appropriately??

Terrible post office. Can only describe it as one of the worst public services in New York. Staff stands around, spends time on their cell phone texting, and incompetent at best. A very lazy bunch that is bothered when you ask them for assistance. I walk the 3/4 of a mile to the post office on Columbus Avenue instead of going into that awful space. Plus it's really dreary, dirty, and poorly maintained. When will the US Postal Service wake up and do something about it?

The WORST service ever from this branch !!! Not only delivery does not come on time, they claim that they left a note with the tracking number which was not the case, so there was no way to even reschedule delivery. I went to the branch and wasted over 30 minutes until they located the pacakge. This happened a number of times - to the point that when I see packages being delivered by post office I cancel the order.
