My favorite nail salon! I recommend Flor for UV gel. Best combinations of trendy chrome and designs plus a super helpful and friendly environment where you can ask to try colors, chrome, etc. before deciding!

Sandra is a magician - this is by far the best my nails have looked. I wish I had taken a before picture to show what I gave her to work with - it was not much.

Been getting my nails done here for over 2 years. They are worth every penny. I love the atmosphere (pop music and clean white tables) and each technician is incredibly skilled.

Amazing! Nails are always perfect! The color stays on for weeks! I love how much time they spend on doing your nails! The pedi is awesome and I love that they don’t soak in those tubs!

Professional, positive vibes! This has been my go-to salon for the entire two years I have lived in Manhattan. Sandra and Carmen in particular are fantastic--but the best part about this place is that every single technician (I think I have gotten manicures from most in the time I've been going) does a great job, so you don't have to worry about making sure you have the "right" person. They are always up-to-date on the trends, willing to talk through what design you want/make recommendations, and consistently executing more complicated designs. The owner/managers are friendly and professional. I am very grateful I found this place and would sincerely recommend it to a friend!

I came to this salon for a gel pedi and gel extensions for my graduation ceremonies. The pedicure has held up fine, but the gel extensions have really impressed me. Vero was the tech who worked with me. She was concerned that because my nails were bitten and short the extensions wouldn't last, however, they've last for over three weeks now. I've been pretty rough with them too, and they haven't chipped at all. If I were still in the city, I'd come back here for my fill in.Services: Pedicure

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be taken advantage of and charged triple the price for a sub-par service.I expect to pay a premium price for a high-end nail salon in midtown Manhattan, but the prices I paid here were higher than I’ve ever paid for the same services in my life. The manicure itself was lower quality than I’m used to, the decor is minimal, and the staff are not attentive nor do they take care with your nails when handling them. I would not call this place high-end.The first time I came here I was charged $100 for a regular gel manicure with 2 gel extensions to fix broken nails. No designs, nothing fancy. $100. The nail tech added a strengthening gel to my nails which I did not ask for and which cost extra and thickened my nails making them them look lumpy. Not only was this price EXORBITANT for what I got, the manicure took 2 hours and did not look good. The nail shape was not consistent and the polish was too thick. Picture attached. The only reason I came back was to have the polish taken off. I figured because I had come here to get them done it would be free or at least cheaper to have them removed than to go elsewhere (standard practice in my experience). Nope! I PAID $30 TO HAVE MY GEL MANICURE REMOVED. The nail tech didn’t even remove the gel extensions, she just filed them down. I asked her to cut my nails down because a couple had broken and she did without shaping them. When I asked why it would cost $30 to remove a gel manicure, I was told it is typically $10 but $15 when using the machine (which I did not ask for), and that cutting my nails down was considered a manicure which is $20. When I tried to argue and insist I did not receive a manicure, I was told that’s just what they charge. Picture attached of the so-called “manicure”.I won’t be coming back and I do not recommend it when there are plenty of higher quality salons with much cheaper prices and better business practices in any of the NYC boroughs.

Didn't mind the atmosphere, but I would not recommend going after 6PM! My manicurist was tired and obviously was rushing to get out of there. She didn't take off all the previous gel, and painted right over residue from filing. Cotton got stuck in the polish at the end, and she just painted over it-- i now have cotton sticking out of my fingernail. Filing was really uneven. A gel manicure is also $60 (without tip). Common!

The Gel Bar...is a great place to get your nails done!! When you first enter you are greeted immediately by the boss of the nail salon. Which felt very welcoming! They addressed me and assigned me to a nail artist which was very kind but unfortunately there was a mix up...they have a system in which the workers take turns. The ladies got into a small disagreement in Spanish but they quickly resolved it. I was assigned a new lady named Flor and she was lovely and worked efficiently. Second, the salon is beautiful and clean plus the country chic design is adorable. Third, the amount is fair...I did a UV Gel extension which was $120 but they do not disclose if you pay cash there is NO taxes which would've been nice to know. Long story short...my nails came out wonderful! I will definitely be back to get my nails done again! I rate this place a 4.5 stars!

Well, I think I finally found my nail salon. Beautiful clean nail studio with high ceilings. Kei who manages the reservations is so sweet and polite, and Diana who does my uv gel is the absolute best, she's quick and knows her craft, most Importantly, she listens to what I want and how I like my nails, this has been a problem I encountered in a few other salons, and much to my surprise I didn't have that issue at this nail salon. Once you step into this studio, it is very classy, smells really nice and the music is top notch, I totally dig the aesthetic, the calming ambience, and the fact that I can escape the crazy city while I'm here for an hour. I pay a little more here, but I've got to say, it's worth every penny. I'd rather pay the extra dollars here knowing fully well, I'm getting my moneys worth. Everyone here is so polite and they really care about their clients, not a lot of nail spas have this attitude. Thank you Diana and Kei. You've earned a repeat client. I will always return.

I love the gel bar!! Cal gel is truly the best long wear polish ever and the team is so detail oriented and kind and talented. I always look forward to visiting - even after I moved away from the neighborhood.

Hands down the best manicure I have had. This coming from an every other week-er. I didn't catch the name of my nail tech but from my observation they were all wonderful. $80 for french tip gel including tax/tip, not bad for the city & even more so for the time, effort, and skill they put into their services.

I visited in May 2022 when I was in town before my college reunion. Chose it because it was close to my hotel. I'd never had a waterless/dry pedicure before, but thought I'd give it a try. Absolutely loved it! When I've had callouses removed after soaking in water at other nail salons, it can get painful pretty quickly. This time, they didn't soak my feet at all and just used a sprayed-on topical antiseptic before they scrubbed the callouses. Did not hurt a bit and they were able to get more of the callouses off which made my feet feel great. Also, trimming my cuticles went really well because my skin hadn't been soaked in water beforehand. Although they have a huge selection of colors and embellishments, I only had one color in a gel polish. I loved it so much that I went back after my reunion and before I went home to get a manicure done in the same color. Both lasted a good 4 weeks. I had such a good experience that I don't know that I'll ever go back to doing a standard mani or pedi with soaking, which is really too bad because there aren't any waterless/dry nail salons anywhere near me.
