Fairly cost effective uptown supermarket. Strong community feel here, the customers are regulars and exchange neighborly chitchat with the friendly owners. Pretty extensive in size, there’s a whole section dedicated to specialty and health products as well as a a deli counter with pastries, wraps, sandwiches and freshly pressed fruit juices or smoothies. There’s also a self-serve coffee & tea counter.

One of the best shopping places in the area . Really well stocked and some great fresh choices . The aisles were quite narrow so could get crammed at busy times . Loves the fresh food counter .

This store is epic!! I came here looking for some very specific items and I found a treasure trove of so many cool healthy food products. If you're looking for something very particular or diet specific, chances are that they have it. The store is a little cramped so you have to scour to find things but they had so many health food items, including including a very large vegan and low carb product selection. The employees here were very friendly and helpful when I asked where to find things. The prices are somewhat high but that's just the nature of health foods these days unfortunately. I would definitely come back here to find health food products not carried at most grocery stores.

I only went there to get a bar of Dr. Bronner's soap and got two because they smelled so nice. I use the soap in my hair instead of shampoo. Bar soaps specifically made for this are available at other stores and cost more but this works the same. A whole wall of soap though. I wish I needed more.

I have been buying many cases of sweetener swerve brown sugar substitute from Health Nuts. The manager treats me in a way that is intelligent and dignified,as do the other individuals working there, who are obviously no less important.I can also Highly Recommend the organic Raw Chocolate Love bars which I have bought there.-with my favorite flavors being the Rose(agave sweetened),peanut butter (agave)and coconut(agave).it upgrades the whole neighborhood to have HealthNuts in it.There are no stores in the entirety of New York City that sell Nobucha Italian gelato.- it is vegan, dairy free, cane sugar free, plus 300 calories for the whole pint.PLease May HealthNuts try to carry this product.I am specifically interested in Peanut Butter and Pistachio(Limited edition)flavor.I also wish that Vegan Diva would bring her muffins back into stores.I would gladly pay $5 or $5.50 for a muffin if it’s her(VEGAN DiVA’S)muffin.-they’re so wonderful!!!!!!Thankyou

I've been shopping at , Health Nut since 1984 and on 3/31/23 I bought a loaf of Canyon Gluten free bread for, 8.49 cent got home and was disappointed that the bread was molded, the wild part is a week before that the bread I bought was good, but there was only two left, returned it the next day for a refund,, I will not be buying any bread from them again. The Indian man with the glasses has an attitude issue that needs to be addressed by the owner ASAP. They do have products that Whole Foods and Trader Joe's don't carry, be sure to check the dates if you shop there.

Good if need some healthy food quick. Prices are exorbitant, way over even Whole Foods, so try not to rely on this store too much. I wish they could make the prices more reasonable so I could treat this as my local health food store.

Great because store has coconut sugar free ice cream. I am allergic to milk products. Coconut ice cream made from fresh coconuts. The ice cream is sweetened with agave which is safe for diabetics and is not fattening like cane sugar.

I truly enjoy supporting this small business. The workers are so friendly and they are really sincere in always answering my many questions whether it be buying diabetic and low sodium snacks for my father or when a product will be back in stock. I’ve been shopping at this location for years and I will continue to support this business. They have many high quality organic products here and I don’t find it overly expensive.
