Music and drink specials were great. Decorations made it feel like Christmas for a small gathering we had. Service was friendly. Food was solid for bar food.

tirelessly worked to ensure that both the bathroom and bar area were in top-notch condition for the event. Damien meticulously cleaned every corner of the bathroom, making sure it was spotless and inviting for the guests. He restocked the toiletries, ensuring that there were enough supplies for everyone throughout the night. In the bar area, Damien took charge of organizing the drinks and ensuring that the bar was fully stocked with a wide variety of beverages. He went the extra mile by creating a visually appealing display of glasses, garnishes, and mixers, adding an elegant touch to the overall ambiance. Not only did Damien excel in his duties, but he also took it upon himself to go above and beyond in providing exceptional service to the guests. He greeted each person with a warm smile and offered personalized recommendations for their drink preferences. Damien's knowledge of different cocktails and his ability to mix them to perfection impressed everyone who approached the bar.Throughout the event, Damien remained attentive and proactive. He constantly checked on the bathroom and bar area, ensuring that everything was running smoothly. If any issues arose, he swiftly resolved them without causing any inconvenience to the guests.Damien's dedication did not go unnoticed. Many guests praised his professionalism and the level of care he put into his work. His commitment to providing a pleasant experience for everyone was truly commendable. In the end, Damien's efforts paid off as the bathroom and bar area became the highlight of the event. Guests were impressed by the cleanliness, organization, and exceptional service they received. Damien's hard work and attention to detail made a significant impact on the overall success of the event, leaving a lasting impression on all those who attended.

I've been here twice. First time was during a Sunday night during summer. It was empty. No DJ or anything. We had ordered food from here..ehh not so good. I wouldn't order food here. Def seems like a spot more for drinks. Second time was on a Friday night around 10pm. DJ was there--music was mostly pop/house, but he mixed some other songs in there. I also came during holiday season and it was beautifully decorated. I love the Christmas decor!

I'd heard great things about Skinny's so I was excited to stop by. The bartender wasn't super helpful when we arrived, he wasn't very patient and didn't care to wait for us when we wanted to place our order. My boyfriend ended up getting one drink and closing out, the soda was flat. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype and I for sure won't be going back.

Big fan of this bar! There’s good bar food and excellent service. Arrive earlier in the night for chill vibes and later for a DJ & dancing. They have events too like trivia, comedy nights, and one time they had fighting games set up. Pretty cool they are always trying something new. Will be back!

I'm sitting at the bar for about 5 minutes a couple walks in right after me and get served before I do then the bartender tells me to hold on and continue to have a full-on conversation with her other patrons which are probably her locals so I understand. Had to shake my head and walk up but the last time was there the bartender was very attentive but I guess she didn't feel like she had time today. I was going to give her a nice tip too I'll keep that!!

We got dress coded at this bummy bar like we’re in elementary school. Nowhere on their website does it say anything about a dress code, which made it seem a bit racist since my group is mostly asian but it is what it is. Better bars exist.

My girlfriend was humiliated by security at The Skinny Bar last night because she is trans. A security guard followed her into the “women’s” bathroom and reprimanded her for being there. Afterwords he came for her again when telling her she was not allowed to wait for her friends outside the bathroom. She was trying to have a well deserved night out with her friends and came home in tears. Unbelievable this is still going on in New York City. Do not visit this bar if you are a supporter of the trans community. Tell your friends.

The Skinny Bar posts on their Instagram about LGBTQ+ and hosts events for pride all for performance. My friend went to the skinny bar for a girls night out, and when attempting to use the restroom she was followed and kicked out because she is trans. If you are part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, do not go here. Oh, and they have flagged certain words so the review won't show. Found out after posting the original version of this review.

Witnessed a truly unfortunate incident this weekend. Saw bar security staff accost a patron trying to use the ladies' restroom. This person's party was trying to defend their friend, but were not being listened to, and ultimately decided to leave. I felt so bad for the beautiful young lady - and what a misguided look for this bar. Ironic, seeing their Pride events advertised everywhere. Do better.

Ok, I was here on a Saturday night. And for the place being jam packed. Everything seemed to be in order. The drinks were strong as hell. The bartenders were so sweet. Security was patient and amazing with checking in. My only complaint is the bathroom sucks lmao. But I’m deff digging this spot as a new weekend turn up.Also they have the cutest cups for the drinks and the wings were fire!!!!! Thank you Skinny! I’ll be back.Wheelchair accessibility: There was really a man in a mobile wheel chair chillin at the spot Lmao.

This bar has no problem posting about pride month to look good online, but has a major problem with trans people using their restrooms. If you support people that are LGTBQ+, don’t come here. There are a million better bars in NYC.
