Coming here is a nightmare. The service seriously lacks. I came in here with some questions and feel that I was ignored. Sure, they have a big selection of things here so given you know quite a lot you can probably get anything you want here. The prices are reasonable, but again the customer support is seriously lacking

On 10/31/23, I visited the Home Depot on W 23rd Street in Manhattan with a friend.Alan assisted us with Flooring and Backsplash selections for a Kitchen Renovation. Both transactions were completed in under 45 minutes. They have already shipped, with earlier delivery dates than anticipated. We were so impressed with his kindness, patience and keen Customer Focus. He made the process seamless. We can't say enough good things about him. This store is very luckly to have such a dedicated/efficient employee. Will certainly recommend to other Home Owners in my neighborhood.Thank You Alan!

Bill paid in full few days late due to illness not excused. Late fee charges exceeded price of item that was paid. Never shop there!

Whatever you do - DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM HOME DEPOT!!!I purchased a very nice new gas range from this store, it was scheduled to be delivered today/the 29th of August. The delivery/installation company gave me and my buildings manager a hard time about getting us the correct COI required by the CoOp.They were supposed to call yesterday with a general time frame/window for said delivery. However they failed to do so ( no text or email either ) leaving me stuck having to take an entire day off of work to accommodate them. When the appliance did arrive, the delivery men already removed the blue plastic protective covering and the range was damaged!I had to refuse delivery and call the 800 number provided. That customer service representative said I wouldn't be able to get a replacement until the 5th of September so I requested a refund. They immediately put me on hold and cancelled the transaction before telling me it would be 8 -10 business days before I will get my refund processed and that as it was a debit purchase I will have to return to the store with a copy of a future email to get my refund - which will of course take 3 business days to repost into my bank account.I am now at least 2 weeks without a stove, have lost an entire day's pay, and am forced to have to go threw the hassle of making this purchase again. All in all this transaction was an epic fail due entirely to the worst customer service, poor communication, and incompetent delivery services.I have been so dramatically inconvenienced that I promise you, I will never buy so much as a screw from Home Depot!

Never, ever arrange to get anything delivered through this store on 23rd Street. It was a complete failure for us.This morning a very expensive Bosch dishwasher was delivered to our apartment. The plumber who came with the delivery guy said he could not install it until he purchased a little gadjet (that would cost 5 dollars at a hardware store) but he would charge us $125 and return tomorrow. They left the large dishwasher sitting in our kitchen. They told us to call the office to find out what time they would return . We called several times, and were kept on hold forever. both agents said we would have to hire our own plumbers for the installation. they did not believe us when we told them that a plumber came with the delivery guy!We called again to say that this was completely unacceptable and we wanted them to pick up the machine and receive a full refund including the excessive $250 installation fee. Another call that took forever. We remain in the dark as to when they will return to pick up the uninstalled dishwasher and when we will get a refundDo not purchase any large appliance from this horrible store on 23rd street.Update: So crazy- our doormen said that the same two men (delivery guy and so-called plumber) were waiting outside in their truck for an hour this morning. They never came into the building or tried to contact us. I just hope the dishwasher will be picked up , as promised, tomorrow.

As a shopper for more years than I can remember, I recently decided to take advantage of your military discount. I went to customer service at the Cropsey Ave store and was pleased with the service. However, after trying numerous times I were unable to get verified. The app that I was give never got back to me and never yea or nayed my status. At Lowes it was simple and done in just a few minutes. At Lowes near me they even have set aside parking spots.Hey H D this is 2023, let's get on the ball.Len Dee

The definition of insanity has a name, Chris Saez NJ store 0935. I've spent 20 hours 50 emails and escalation to the President of HomeDepot.com attempting to return a damaged refrigerator. Chris has sent a 3 trucks to pick up and 3 times they refused to take the refrigerator. Now I'm up against thousands of dollars in fines from my building yet Chris unequivocally refuses to pick up or refund it. I'm not going to lose my apartment over this the refrigerator will be disposed of and perhaps if it came out of Chris's paycheck he might learn about accountability.

Beautiful exterior and well organized 3 levels (maybe more) of retail space. Staff was very friendly upon entering asking if I needed help finding anything. Also there seemed to be staff consistently in each section and let me know they were happy to help. Really nice to have this in middle of Manhattan. Everything you need from paint, garden, tools, lumber. Only disappointing thing is I called for AC unit I saw online and they said on the phone 5 left in stocks, came 10 minutes later and they didn't have any. Staff member kindly said the person I talked probably looked at wrong store.

Shopped here for the first time in NYC for kitchen counter LED lighting and micro USB cords. The staff was really helpful and mostly all local women - very professional, beautifully energetic, pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you to Victoria and Paola for their assistanc. Live long & prosper NYC local workforce! I shopped at many other Home Depot locations for home & office renovations & supplies in Texas, Florida & New Jersey. The W23rd St. NYC location is my new favorite.

Unfortunately, the time has come where you just have to buy stuff on the internet. Needless to say, they did not have the very basic thing I was looking for.

Definitely not your typical full service Home Depot, but this basically has anything you will need for fixing up an NYC apartment. The folks at the paint department are very friendly and always willing to help.

There aren't that many big box stores that thrive inside of Manhattan, but for one-stop shopping when you simply have to upgrade or fix something that your landlord can't or won't, this is a great place to go. With their mobile app in hand, you can navigate their phenomenally large footprint quickly and efficiently.

I Hate HOME DEPOT!!!!! I placed an order that said free shipping to home. After the order was placed it showed only two items were being shipped and the rest for pick up in store. I called the HD .com and was told they could not cancel the items being shipped. After over a half hour I could do nothing about it as their computers were super slow. I HATE HOME DEPOT. I had to cancel my order but they would not let me cancel the $3.99 item that they charged me $8.99 to ship. I HATE HOME DEPOT. I hate shopping there and I hate going in there. I would rather pay more else where and this experience just confirmed for me why I HATE HOME DEPOT. Oh, and when the online person told me I had to call the store, the manager at the store said he could do nothing. He transferred me to the Service desk and the lazy man hung up on me. I HATE HOME DEPOT!!!!!!! So I was finally able to log on and I canceled my $450. order, but still had to pay the $8.99 for a delivery of a $3.99 item. I really, really, HATE HOME DEPOT.
