Tri state relocated us from Philly to the Bronx and we couldn’t be more pleased with the service. Pre-move, someone was always available by phone to discuss logistics and cost and on the day of the movers were super efficient. Customer service was excellent and overall they made a stressful event much easier. Highly recommended!

A very POOR experience from a Financial and communication standpoint. I was quoted originally one price and ended up overcharged DOUBLE of what was quoted for. I sent a text to Gavriel explaining that what the movers were going to leave with me was not mine (workout benches, and large full patio set with pillows and all) was not mine and that I was charged for that probably hence the double price. NEVER heard back for a refund Obviously they thought all that was mine and they charged me for it. I explained that it was not and the movers took it away yet I still got. charged double of the original quote. The only good thing was that Eveything arrived with only a few minor boxes broken yet nothing damaged Communication with them was ridiculous. The young lady picking up was good and always apologetic yet she could only pass on the messages and I was not being called back. I had to call 10 + times to finally get a call back. They are probably understaffed and can't handle the calls for business. Do NOT hire them!

Needed movers for a move from Philly to NYC on short notice. Vincent and his crew worked quickly and professionally, and rolled with a few parking issues without complaint. Highly recommend.

This was the single worst professional experience I have ever had. Vincent, the business owner was incredibly rude to my girlfriend, brought a small van to move an entire one bedroom, damaged three very beloved rare plants, lost one of our large plants, scratched/got dirty every single piece of furniture. When I asked for a refund he argued with me for weeks and eventually told me I wasn't attached to reality and that any damage to my items was my fault. I would never wish anyone the experience I had. I would have paid many times more than I did for the move to have never had to work with Vincent at all.

I had the absolute best experience with Tristate. First, they were by FAR the cheapest option to move me from CT to NYC. this made me nervous cause like, cheapest isn't always best, but I shouldn't have worried. They were extremely responsive, super helpful and professional during the move. Couldn't recommend enough. We didn't have much stuff but everything was wrapped well and arrived on time with zero damage. Will only be using them in the future.

On 10/31/19 Tri -state moved my belongings from Congers NY a townhouse to storage in Hackensack NJ.I was referred by my realtor .I sent pictures of my furniture and I was told one night storage in there truck and moving to the next day to the storage place would cost $1600-1700 .The truck arrived at my townhouse 3 hours late. They arrived at 11am instead of 8am as promised. It was pouring rain so the moving really messed up my floors .At 1pm my buyer came for a walk through and went crazy screaming .The house was now dirty. The closing was postponed until 11/6/19. I was charged 2800.00 for that really horrible disorganized move. When I was able to move out of the storage I found some missing belongings I saw them go into tri- states truck for storage .I could not see them in the storage because it was packed very tight When I moved into my new house I realized many of my belongs are missing from storage. The legs from my dinning room table ,A small doily and step ladder .I called tri-state and told them about the missing Idems.4 times. I spoke to the office manager and she said they would look for my missing Idems They never called me back. They charged me too much also and They know that Tri-state are horrible movers they took advantage of me by charging me too much. Loosing my belongings I will never use them again. They do not care about people .

This is 100% a company that should be shut down. My experience with this company was a complete disaster and I will be following up in claims court. 3 red flags you should be aware of:

Rude and unprofessional. Had a stressful move. I needed the help and they took advantage. Needed movers and to put things in storage. This was my first move- I didn't realize how much to put on the inventory list... this jacked my price up. Fine. I paid it. No complaints. I was more worried for inconveniencing them. Fool that I was. I happily paid the quarters for the meter for the moving truck to park, I bit my tongue when they said they couldn't use the elevator for the couch and had to add an extra $250 to my bill. I get it these things happen. When I moved and they brought my things from storage many of my items were damaged and WET. The side of my couch was soaking wet. I was "man-spained" it would dry. It now smells like mildew. They broke my tv (less than a year old) and blamed it on a "little old lady in my building." Lucky for me my building has cameras. No little lady has appeared on video for her shining moment. I have provided a receipt and documentation to the company to be reimbursed. That was 9/19 here we are on 11/1.Still waiting. I was told to "give it another week." That is what has just flamed my anger of a thousand suns! Word of mouth! Reviews can make or break companies. Don't be rude to your customers. A box was broken and my items were thrown into another box and they were wet and dirty. There goes designer handbags and shoes. Cool. All had to be thrown away. Two lamps shades broken. Be wary and have your checkbook ready. Life lesson. Guess I was "entitled" to think I would receive good and professional service that I paid for.
