This location was the least helpful location of any Uhaul location I’ve ever been to. Upon returning the uhaul truck, they told me i could not park on their property; the same location i rented it from. Then they refused to take it back for me. I was forced to return it online myself and they pointed to a paper in the window saying they charge $20 if we don’t return the vehicle ourselves. It wasn’t an option though, it was mandated to return it ourselves; i would’ve paid the $20 just to not deal with it. Going through the process i locked the keys in the vehicle. They offered no help or solutions. Told me i had to Google a locksmith myself and pay out of pocket (which i did). Gone are the day where you do business with a company and they offer whatever help possible to keep earning your business. I will never rent from this location. And not that it hurts Uhaul pockets, but i will do my research on Uhaul alternatives and be sure to share my results with anyone i can. Moving is an often emotional exhausting and traumatic experience, and locations like this adversely impact your mental health during an already overwhelming task. Oh, and the vehicle’s hood kept popping open on the highway and the passenger door would not close all the way without several extra shoves. But the website would not let me finish closing procedures with those defects annotated. That vehicle definitely is not safe for the next renter.

Lock boxes wouldn’t unlock - the codes just aren’t set right. Just had to cancel my order.

Lack of communication, the staff are so rude and unprofessional. I will not use their service again and I don’t recommend it

DO NOT GO HERE! They run a scam where they charge you for processing fees for no reason other than to squeeze money out of you. They act clueless like they don’t know what’s going on but they know.

Do not go there. I went to pick up a car and the key was not in the lock. When I called the next day after changing the reservation the man who owned the shop told her that the lock is broken and I have no option to pick up from there. He didn’t call to inform me and I would have had the same issue. He was so rude and for the record he refused to find a solution.

Claimed I used this truck for demolition purposes and charged me a cleaning fee and an extra fee claiming the doors were unlocked when I checked out on my mobile phone. Also a 5 dollar item fee? I ended up paying 100 dollars to use a truck for 3 hours....Couldn’t get the truck size I wanted either. Tried to ask them to make the reservation when I was there and forced me to use the app. Don’t recommend there’s a U-Haul place two blocks away. Second time I’ve had issues at this location.

U-Haul in general sucks, but the guy managing this location was very helpful and friendly.Note: As of 6/20/21, the gas station connected to the U-Haul closes sometime before 7 and locks the pumps, so if you're dropping off late you should refill at the Sunoco just north of this place.

Pickup and dropoff was very slow. Manager had an attitude. The trick was fine.

The boss is kind of aggressive, but sometimes you just need to rent a truck. Better if you use the Uhaul app.

***WARNING*** DO NOT RENT FROM THIS UHAUL OR IMO UHAUL AT ALL. Basically these scumbags (at Uhaul and the vendor at 392 Leonard St. Brooklyn, NY 11211) ripped me off!!! So full disclosure: -I was late picking the van up, that I reserved for 6 hours, as people are when they're moving. -I was told that my van was given away and that I need to rent another. Obviously I'm now super stressed out have a very small window to get this couch moved. -The guy told me to swipe my card and I did. He asked me to press "ok" which I did. I looked and instead of 19.95$ (the normal price for a van) it was nearly 40$. I asked him why and he immediately yelled at me "you pressed ok". It turns out he got me the full insurance which I did not ask for. He then lied to me and told me that it was "just an estimate" which it was not. -The van was filthy: open potato chip bags and bottles of soda were strewn about. -I moved the couch, drove less than 3 miles, and had it back in under three hours. -Later that week I get an email telling me that I had an outstanding balance of 76$ and that if I didn't pay I would be reported to a collection agency. So I called to dispute and I was told that: a) I had chosen the full insurance. The first I'd heard of this. b) I was charged for trash clean up, 25$. c) I was charged for 7 miles of driving which on google maps showed less than 3... d) I was charged for like 2-3 gallons of gas also not possible. e) I was charged some bulls*#t "custodial" fee which the lady at the dispute center though was very bizarre since I had paid up front for the van. She knocked off a charge or two but it was still 60$+ and sent my dispute to the main office or whatever. So needless to say this whole operation was hella f*%king shady. I received a call from the main Uhaul dispute center this morning. The guy basically stonewalled me on the insurance I didn't ask for because I pressed ok on the card swipe thing. He got rid of the (honestly I can't remember what the fee was actually called so I'm just calling it a) custodial fee and clean up which was nearly 40$. I still paid for gas and mileage I didn't use. At the end I paid 45$ for something that should'nt have been more than 30$ but they (Uhaul and the vendor) tried to screw me for over 70$. Final side note: I kept the receipt and when the guy on the phone today asked for info from it I gave him the form name. He said he'd never heard of it before. I told him that that was what I was given, it had the price, location, date, and Uhaul written on it. He tried to tell me that I must have just found it (I guess with my signature somehow magically on it) on the floor of the Uhaul. Lmao Honestly, it seems to me that the vendor was a complete crook and that there is systematic dishonesty and a tendency for thievery throughout the Uhaul corporation. I will never use them, Uhaul or the vendor again. I will tell every person, no matter how unfamiliar, that I overhear suggesting or contemplating using Uhaul my experience and strongly suggest using a different service for as long as I live. Lastly, I worked in the service industry and there was an adage that you must live by that somehow has fallen completely on deaf ears at Uhaul: a person who has a good time at your establishment may tell 3 people, but a person who has a bad time will tell every person they meet for the rest of their lives. Avoid my experience!!!! Please view before choosing Uhaul!

This is a tough one. One of the guys working there is a 4 star and the other guy is a 2 star. This uhaul is worth going to though. GO IN THE MORNING and when you return make sure you have a credit card to fill up gas at the location.
