I would give zero stars if I could. I had an appointment before the holidays at the Newark Ave store in Jersey City, and when I arrived I found the store closed. I made the appointment and confirmed it 3 or 4 days in advance for 10 am at the Jersey Ave, Jersey City store. I got there a few minutes early. They were not open. I waited until 10:20 am, at which point I had to leave for a meeting. I tried calling and got a very long phone tree and finally left a voice message. I also tried emailing the email that confirmed my appointment and texted the number that confirmed my appointment via text. They have completely blown me off and have not bothered to reach out to me. Making a mistake or having someone call in sick last minute happens -- but it is what a company does when it has made a mistake that defines it. This business did not even bother to apologize for completely blowing me off. I guess they don't need my money or my business.

went in for iPad screen repair. the screen they replaced it with began glitching within the week. brought it back, they replaced it with a new screen. the new screen doesn't respond to touch in whole portions of the screen. i returned to the store again and they refused me a refund chalking it up to "bad luck" that i happened to get 2 defective screens. i was given $50 for the hassle of coming back and the promise of as many return trips as it takes for them to get it right. it's fair to say i don't trust this issue to be resolved by this company, but i'm now short $250 and left with a very poorly functioning iPad that is now useless for my work.

Motorola repair center. Provided my phone for diagnostics and repair. Clean location in Chelsea and good customer response when in store. Took awhile to receive information on status of phone, had to call a few times. I collected the phone after mail notification.

Middle Eastern man denied me a written estimate despite a large sign on the wall saying Customers have the right to one. On 3 seperate occasions he occasionally went deaf and ignored anything I said or asked him. I am a black person if that gives you context. I went to a diff shop that gave me a more thorough diagnosis of my phone with better customer service.

Worst place I've visited so far, and I was told the insurance for my phone was good and I could leave it. I was told to wait 5 hours even though I had made an appointment at 12 to be told to pick it up at 5. Before picking it up I called to make sure the phone was good to go and they said that I had to call Samsung to make a new claim and didn't fix it and I was also told to pick it up in an hour even though they did nothing to it. The price is also ridiculous, so if you have a Samsung phone, please just visit the store and get it fixed for half the price.

I don't ever write reviews but I wanted to warn others so they do not suffer my fate. I wish I could give them zero stars. Charged $200 for a simple data transfer-- which we later found out can be done for free at a Verizon or Apple store--and deleted all my data in the process. Could not even do the simple task right. Absolutely horrible I do not recommend anybody to ever come here, they will try to scam you every chance they can get.

These people are criminals. Stay as far away from them as possible. They stole. The broke. They lied. If you’re looking to give your hard earned money to crooks then ok but if you want your electronics fixed by experts and professionals - UBreakiFix is not the place. Their entire team are dangerous frauds be very careful what information you give them.

Slow, incompetent, and terrible service. They took a full 45 minutes to check in the 2 phones in front of me and mine. Then they weren't able to put in an insurance claim to Samsung for an easy fix (galaxy fold screen protector replacement), despite it being under warrantee and a servive that Samsung loudly advertises as something they do for all foldables less than a year old (which mine is). They then just "forgot to call or email me" (their words exactly) so despite coming back 7 hours later for a repair that was quoted as being done in 3-4 max, they hadn't done anything to my phone. They offered to finally do the fix if I paid out of pocket, but I'd have to wait another hour. I was tired after a full day of work and frustrated from waiting so I gave up and just asked for my phone back.So this is a place that will take an agonizingly long time to check you in, not do a simple follow-up contact over the course of 7 hours, then say it'll take over an hour to do a simple screen protector replacement. Not recommended unless you just want to waste your time

Crystal was awesome! She provided amazing customer service & she quickly resolved the concerns that I had for my phone repair. I would recommend the West 23rd Street location in NYC for anyone in the area.

I visited the store on Saturday afternoon with a broken iPhone screen and it was repaired before the end of the day. Can't thank the team who helped me enough - great customer service and they helped me save money as well. Highly recommend!

Worst service ever. They replaced my screen protector with the wrong screen protector. My phone was given back to me worst than when I brought it in. Being that it was covered by Samsung and not paid for they just asked me to come back the following day. With no care about how I was treated. The employee was ready to go home from his shift.

I was sent here for a second opinion after my GPU died during a routine laptop cleaning at the 39th street location of Asurion/UBreakiFix.I was told they would look at my laptop and to come back in 3 hours. When I came back, I learned the tech had not looked at it and actually wanted to charge me $50 for a "deep diagnostic" that would take 5-6 days because of the backlog. This is laughable; their marketing everywhere says all diagnostics are free. I guess diagnostics are free unless they're diagnosing how one of their techs broke your device -- then you have to pay for it and wait a week.Can't speak to their technical knowledge or skill at this location because I decided not to get scammed further by this company. They'll gladly take your money, gaslight you when they break your machine, then keep charging you more money before they'll even consider fixing it. I raised the broken GPU issue to corporate and they said my device is not covered by their warranty because they can't prove my GPU was working when I brought it in, since the tech did not do a diagnostic before working on my laptop. I know my laptop was perfectly healthy the morning I brought it in. Because of their negligence, I now have to pay $1500 to replace my PC.
