Thank you Abel and the driver who took care of the packages. Quite the contrary. Abel was kind enough to serve me as he saw that I had a lot of packages and was not turned away by any means as state by other people posting. Looking forward to using their services in the future. Staff is very helpful, accommodating and efficient. Small store, but everyone goes to this one and the line really moves.Yesterday, for instance, Abel helped me with copies, lots of them with staples and different sizes. Fast and most pleasant. Thanks!

Abel was a great help last week. OnMonday I purchased a box from him to send Valentine’s Day gifts to my grandniece and grandnephew as I knew I wasn’t going to be able to visit them the next day due to the snowstorm. When I went back the next morning Abel recognized me and knew that I was hoping to have the package arrive the next day, Feb. 14. He processed my package and said that it “should “ get there by the next day, Valentines Day. And it did! The package arrived on Long Island before the children were home from school. Thank you Abel and all the UPS people getting my package to the kids in time for Valentines Day.

The store is very slow with indifferent staff, frequently creating a line that stretches to the corner. Excacerbating the issue is that they strictly limit two people in the store at a time, which especially in winter makes for an unpleasant experience. Haven't had any package issues nor can I say it's much worse than any other UPS store, but it is what it is.

Worst store in the entire city.The people who work here are on the phone doing other jobs while “dealing” with you. They don’t have any manners and they are rude.I have already recorded interactions here and have sent them to corporate. It’s positively the worst UPS.

I come to this store frequently and the lines are usually long, and extend to the corner, but yesterday Abel and rob kept the lines moving at a great pace, kept the store organized and treated customers with hospitality thanks guys

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Although I wasn’t very organized, they were very patient with me and listen to what I wanted to do. Ultimately, they showed me the most economical way to ship my packages. I used to be a FedEx guy, and used to think their systems made them better than UPS, but I’ll be back to this UPS store the next time I need to ship something.

Yesterday afternoon Abel and Rob were working. They were friendly, engaging, and helpful. Abel was helping me, and Rob offered his assistance with a different way to ship my product. I got the product that I needed, but more importantly, these gentlemen brightened my day. I'm regularly at this location. The staff is usually terse, cursing, and routinely complaining about their boss or the customers. One woman in particular is often literally screaming about whatever issue. Please hire more Abel and Robs!

Of all of the bad customer service I have experienced in the post Covid world this store far and above takes the prize. Least helpful, friendly group of employees imaginable. Whoever runs this franchise should be aware it is a bad look for the entire UPS brand.

First Avenue and 85th Street store is a bloody nightmare. The same two customers have been inside the store for 20 minutes while there's a line out the door and around the corner that people are standing in the cold. What kind of backwards hands off customer services this???????!!! It's utterly absurd! It's TOO COLD FOR THIS NONSENSE!

Avoid at all costs. As other reviewers stated, they will ruin your day. Staff/employees here are extremely rude and unaccommodating. They’ve turned away my return packages with no reasonable explanation; seems as though they just do not wish to do it. One day they told me it was too late in the day, even though I was there well before closing time, thus making me late to my appointment since I had to go back home to drop off my package again. Then I tried to call ahead the next day to confirm they would take it but they never answered the phone so I went earlier in the day this time and they tried to refuse AGAIN. I refused to leave without dropping off my package and they begrudgingly took it. They’ve also posted signs on the door they are cash only, no more than 2 people at a time, and are NOT accepting Nuuly, Happy, or Rent the Runway packages (photo attached). Do NOT waste your time by going here.This location has been posted on an online platform with MANY people reporting similar issues. They responded thinking I got this confused with another location which is false.
