I had a horrible experience at this UPS Store and will never return to this location. I needed to ship a package but I didn't have a box so the associate said that they could package my gift. However, I have had a prior bad experience where UPS sent my package to the wrong address so I need to see the final package. The associate said that they couldn't do that but I could buy all the packing materials myself. So I decided to buy the packing materials and then went to a table to package my gift. The associate came out and told me that I couldn't package my gift inside the store. He said I needed to take it out to the street because that was the manager's policy. He was incredibly rude. I have never heard of such a policy from a company that supposedly prides itself on customer service. Terrible service and rude staff. Avoid if you can.

Chris helped me out I this store. He spoke very professionally and helped me with all my requirements. He was fast efficient and very friendly. I got my faxing, mailing out a letter and notorizing a document all in 10 min. I will DEFINITELY be back at this store even though I like on the upper West side of Manhattan. ?

I had a fantastic experience at the UPS store thanks to a helpful and friendly Marlon. He went above and beyond to assist me, making my visit smooth and stress-free. His excellent customer service skills truly made a difference, and I greatly appreciate his assistance.

The customer service assistant here named Natalie is incredibly rude. The store closes at 7pm. I got there at 6:50pm. Had Natalie or anyone else explained to me that it was too late to serve me, I’d have totally understood. But no! Natalie was fighting with someone on the phone while her male colleague started serving me. At some point, Natalie hung up and started snapping at me rudely that I should make sure I’m never at the store after 6:45pm. She kept repeating herself over and over. I just ignored her and carried on. Before leaving the premises, I asked Natalie’s colleague which box he’d be using for the shipment and he politely showed me. By then, it was 7pm and Natalie started screaming at me “We are closed, you’re OUT!” And she kept on repeating “You’re OUT” “You’re OUT!”Why is Natalie not fired yet?

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went today with something I needed to return and the prepaid label but I needed to purchase a box. The person that help me was a male guy and he told me where to print label and processed my payment for the box. After that he said "you are all set". I told him thank you! If you don't mind I'll stay to see the item packaged in to the box because I had a bad experience in the past with an item that was never packaged and never got to the destination. While I'm standing there a women (Nataly) on a different cashier says, "next time bring everything packaged by yourself because you make us feel like we are going to steal it" (she said this with an attitude) and says I'm the manager here. To what I replied, if you want I can packaged myself plus it is my right to see my item packaged that is the service you provide and I paid for the box. The gut who helped me from the start while packing it asks her "do I packaged it or not? And she says refund there the money of the box and give the item back. So at this point I'm frustrated and I told her "well I came all the way here and already paid so I'm not taking it back". She answers, YOU ARE ACCUSING US OF STEALING!. I started recording her because she was aggressive and I told her you have cameras here and I never accused any of you. And I walked away. She ran behind me and started calling me and when I turned she put the item (a new dress for return) on the street of NYC (I have the video) and left.TERRIBLE SERVICE AND I DON'T KNOW HIW THIS WOMEN IS A MANAGER as she clearly HAS 0 EXPERIENCE IN CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. Plus, put my new dress on the street how rude and unprofessional! I already put the complaint with UPS and they will investigate.

I came to this branch because I was in a serious bind and I needed something printed urgently. The employee, Marlon, was super helpful and attentive! Even as I was dealing with a LOT of confusion, he was extremely patient with me. He was super efficient and had an amazing personality to boot! I will continue to patronize this location because of him.

Horrible customer service from the team. The beanie hat guy referred to in other reviews really does not act like he wants to be there. Just rude.I kind of feel bad complaining since I think there is a decent chance he’s on the spectrum or suffering some level of cognitive impairment. If that’s the case please provide him with the support he needs. God bless his soul maybe he can perform non customer facing tasks.Either way take your business elsewhere this location needs new management and proper training.

I come here in the morning for my drop offs I didn’t know if it was open or not at some point just looked closed every time I walked by and the bad reviews kept me away too but I came in one morning to do my drop off and a nice guy help me was fast too don’t let these bad review fool you. The store also looks nice and modern I would recommend thank you ups store for making my drop off fast and easy.

This UPS Store location and its dedicated staff have provided (and continue to provide) my household with phenomenal service for over a year. Their front staff in particular are courteous and professional in ways I would ascribe to excellent management and a genuine understanding in the importance of their role as client facing personnel. I have received hundreds of deliveries to this location and the team here have never lost, damaged, or misplaced a single package. And if there was ever a schedule change for this location (for maintenance or an upcoming holiday, for example) their staff would kindly remind me during routine delivery pickups.Just from what I've observed in the store, I imagine it takes a tremendous amount of patience for this store's staff to deal with the handful of confused and frustrated customers who fail to read the terms of 3rd party order returns (for example, these days a lot more Amazon Prime orders returns require the customer repackage and print out their own return label – and Amazon communicates that pretty clearly). More curiously I've seen some customers who simply disagree with the shipping costs or policies of UPS and then inexplicably choose to take out their anger on the store's front staff (shooting the messenger), who still manage to keep a level head and maintain a professional composure, despite having little power to do anything apart from kindly enforce their company's policy. Also, everybody knows you've got to bring your own packaging tape; businesses have their idiosyncratic policies, and this has been UPS's policy in NYC for years.Keep up the great work!

I am almost certain the goal of the "guy who wears beanie hat" is to get this store shutdown by providing the worst customer service possible. UPS is a shipping company but he actively makes sure no customer ships their packages unless he can get you for $30-$40. He tried to charge me $30 for a box and didn't want to give me a plastic sleeve for the shipping label and those are free.

The flood of negative reviews for this UPS store didn't surprise me, given the terrible and downright inhumane service I experienced today. I went there to return a package that only needed a tiny piece of tape. But the store manager, Chris (the one wearing a hat), refused to give me that small amount and insisted I buy a whole roll. I was shocked since it had never happened to me before. I had to go to a liquor store to borrow some tape, and even the guy there couldn't believe it! When I returned to the UPS store, the manager came up with another excuse, saying my package wasn't good and I needed a new one. I asked to speak to the manager, only to be told that he was the manager. I was deeply disappointed that people like him held such positions. Anyway, I went to another UPS store where they accepted my package and even added some extra tape for me.
