At 3:30pm when 15+ folks are on line they have one window open. While I was waiting the line continued to grow and snake around and around. Tried to speak to a manager to ask them open more windows but they were MIA. And the staff are generally very unpleasant and unhelpful, though I did have the good fortune, after waiting 30+ minutes, to be directed to window #6, where a very kind and helpful man was assigned. Another customer told me windows are understaffed everyday in the late afternoon, so plan accordingly and avoid the long lines. And PO management, do some managing and fix this problem.

The rudest, most ghetto employees in New York City, hands down. They treat you like doing their jobs is the biggest inconvenience for them and I heard multiple employees speaking rudely to confused customers who just needed assistance with a question. 0 stars if I could!

Not like the majority of people think about this place, I feel very welcomed and appreciated when I have a question and staffs help with me immediately with patience and understanding. Huge space, escalator to 2nd floor for post office there, arts on walls. more than 20 windows for service and most of them are open when I go.

Depths of hell is the correct description for what I experienced today. People lined up for morning appointments and no one was behind the desk. Turns out the passport woman doesn’t come in til later but we had to go bother the other staff twice to find this out. They will just let people wait around in a line for nothing. Then she finally shows up and she’s angry at people as if it’s OUR fault that the system allowed appts outside of her hours. Proceeded to scream at me just for approaching her window to ask a question, before I even said anything. You don’t have to be nice but at least be CIVIL??? I dealt with someone else and at the end I messed up my passport application, totally my own fault, but I wasn’t angry at them for it because I’m not a crazy person. Just don’t go in here expecting things to operate on logic, or to be treated like a human being.

This post office is a disgrace. Waited on line for nearly a half hour just to get a Priority mail express envelope (had a label but they didn’t have any mailing envelopes out for use); the teller at window 9 made me buy tape but wouldn’t wait for the 15 seconds it would take to tape the label on. She told me drop off at an unattended window. That was last night and my priority mail express package has not been mailed, the teller today says the teller last night should have scanned it and that she has no idea where my package is now and to “wait and see” what happens. As though people pay for priority mail express for fun. Do yourselves a favor and avoid this place if you can.

truly one of the least helpful places i have ever been to and one of the most unhelpful post offices i have ever been to. just give you the run around. doesnt explain anything. will see you waiting for them and just walk by and act like you arent there. dont care if you ever find your package. just there to collect their paychecks and sit around. theres not one helpful person in the entire building. and everyone whos been there at least once knows this. completely broken. if you have to go there i am sorry. just know others have gone through the same experience as you. you are not alone. just outsource it all to UPS at this point folks.

Very rude and unhelpful manager. Employees make zero eye contact, and toss paperwork at you as if you’re causing them the world’s greatest inconvenience just for being there. I understand it’s a government run operation but I think the US post office should hold itself to a higher standard and treat its costumers like people. Other countries have a better customer service reputation. It is a shame the US Post office doesn’t.

Have you ever been to the depths of hell? Now you can! Upon arrival to this dump we attempted to use the self service devices in a room that was blasting heat and covers n garbage. We were unable to use this service due to there being no provided packaging. So onward we went up the escalator into a large room with a missing ceiling. We went to the self service desk to get stickers and fill out forms. There were no pens provided or available for use. Then we got in line and waited and waited and waited. Only to arrive at a usps worker who told us our package was in the wrong colored envelope. We had to go grab another. Anyways I bought a bunch of cute stamps for 36 dollars prolly a rip off, but whatever.I wouldn’t electively come here again only out of necessity. The ceiling falling down is a nice touch.

This is by far one of the slowest post offices in New York City. Granted they are open on weekends, which is nice on Saturday till 4 PM which I really appreciate. But the line is so slow and I actually don’t blame that on the freaking post office on the people that are so disrespectful and don’t pay attention to others around them and decide to just stay up so much time and set up doing their research before they jointhe line.

They are always so rude. I needed the elevator and I waited 3.4 of an hour for someone to assist me. I cannot use the escalator. They told me I had to wait as it is a courtesy for them to help me. If you are handicapped, what can you do. And they told me this is not a nursing home or a hospital.

0 stars if possible. Went to the windows to pick up mail being held here. Was told to go to another window and use a telephone to call a supervisor. Was on hold for 10 minutes then hung up on. The incompetence of the post office never ceases to amaze.

Submitted mail hold tickets twice in person here, one with a supervisor. My packages did not get held, and failed to deliver as a result, and were returned to sender.*Updated: they managed to intercept 2 of 4 packages so far, so giving them 1 more star for that.

Embarrassing! This place is a disaster and needs to close or change management. I went to pick up my package on Monday after they deliver the note the previous working day which was Saturday, they couldn’t find my package and said that it was because the package was probably still in the track and to have this information I had to speack with 3 different people and wait an hour. I went back on Wednesday at 6pm and not only there were only 2 windows open, the employe than looked for my tracking number and said the package was not on their level and not in the delivery location where it supposed to be when they are ready for pick up. He than told me I have to come back tomorrow and try to call a supervisor to better understand. How do they even function this way???? Unbelievable
