I was in this post office 2/22/24 around 12pm and actually I was alone in the line. Unfortunately, young ladies who work there are extremely rude and busy with watching the videos on their phones. No one pays attention to the customers. I had to come to the window and ask to help me! Because I understood they were totally ignoring me.The lady was really unhappy that I interrupted her with watching her videos and told me YOU SHOULD STAND THERE AND WAIT UNTIL I CALL YOU.In fact this is not the first time I was faced with disrespect from those people. They may yell at you and behave like I came to their place and want something from them. AFWULL!! I really wish the staff finally was taught good manners!!!

Since my last review the US Postal service have gone down dramatically in efficiency, quality, speed, accuracy, concern about the quality of their service. I have been in many 3rd world countries w here the Past Offices looked better, more by to be to date and cleaner that in NYC. Also nationwide, what used to be the pride of be the nation has become an ultra inefficient service riddled by lost packages, deliveries 3-4-5 days later than promised, outright theft while in PO hands. The speed with which the service has gone down seems almost premeditated, since so much inefficiency cannot be attributed to suddenly incompetent postal workers whoup to now have been doing an excellent job!

Everyone I’ve interacted with the past few years has been very helpful and just nice to work with at this post office - feel for the workers building needs a reno!

Quick, polite, efficient...crowded at holiday times now between Thanksgiving and Christmas but moved along very efficiently. It is a busy PO in general located at 85th St., off Third Are., near a major crosstown St. of 86th St.

This store sucks. Just came here to buy some postcard stamps and the lady was so rude. Also, would not recommend using the kiosk to buy stamps, they print out the ugliest QR codes as “stamps” and its non-refundable. Also the store looks like it’s about to have a mental breakdown at any moment, no wonder all the workers there hate their lives. If you want your day ruined by rude customer service, highly recommend popping into this store for their guaranteed ruin-your-day services.

This is the second package in the last 3 weeks that has said delivered but not. I'm beginning to think the USPS driver is taking the packages as none of the surrounding buildings have my packages. Yesterday it said insufficient Address I called and it es corrected and then at 10:27pm arrived at distribution center then put for delivery this morning. And when filling a claim they take the driver's side because they said its delivered.People at the post office that answer the phone have been the only helpful ppl trying to help.

Avoid location at 104 between Amsterdam and Bway. Waited over an hour in line. Only 2 workers for a line about 20 people long. One customer had hugh freight boxes going international. With no special window for that type of mail, we all had to wait. customers were going postal!

Made an appointment for a passport, and it only took me 10 minutes. I tried a different location before, and it was a nightmare. Highly recommend this location. They have a specific window for only passports.

Dear USPS, please do not let this thing (guy in photo) loose in streets. He clearly has a problem moving. He harasses people. Most of the time, he was idling as well.

The story started almost 8 month ago when I found out the small package that was displayed as delivered by USPS was not in my mail box. When I approached the delivery lady whose first name was Nancy, she first told me it might have not been delivered but when I told her it was delivered almost 3 days ago and she called her colleague over the phone to confirm and there after she found out it was the case, she started crying on her phone saying something "this is not the first time....". She started playing like a victim while I did not say nothing other than asking to confirm and double check. After I saw her crying, I said to her "if it was lost, then it's lost and I will ask the merchant to refund" and I left. But who knows that she took this incident very personally. This morning while I was outside NY for a vacation, I got a buzz from my building doorman stating that the post office lady wanted to talk to me. Nancy told me on the phone that she had a package for me but wanted me to come downstairs to get it. Understanding the package does not require any signature, I asked her why she couldn't leave it in the mail box or with the doorman. Her response shocked me: " No! Remember the incidence last time when I put your package in your mail box and you claimed that you didn't receive it!" I said "it was true that I never received it but if you are concerned this time, the doorman can accept it on my behalf and record in the building link system." She again refused and asked me to go to the post office to retrieve the package when I return. Later I found out that she put in the USPS tracking system with a note "no secure location available"! But she has in the past given packages to the doorman other building residents' packages when the size doesn't fit into the mailbox, not even worth mentioning that my package was 3 boxes of contact lens which have been also well fit into the mailbox! This is extremely ridiculous that the post office worker abused their ability and position to retaliate the customer! I never used any abused language in the first instance nor did I claim that she lost my package or file any complaints. But obviously she took it very personally for the past 8 months and until the moment she mentioned it I then realized who she is. I called up her super whose last name is Lekinron and she ignored my request but solely said that the post office has the right to bring the package back to the office -- and then finally changed the policy to oversized package only after I confirmed three times with her. She then claimed that my package did not fit into the mailbox which is totally a lie. If it doesn't fit, Nancy would have not raised the 8-month-ago incident as an excuse. She never addressed why she gave the oversized boxes to the doorman of my building for other residents -- which seems to be against her stating truth of the "policy". Going forward, I will make every record on the size of package if I have to go to the post office to pick them up and on the wrong mails that belong to other units but were misplaced into my mailbox as an evidence that this lady failed her job and responsibility; her and the post office abused their power to retaliate consumer and impose discrimination against me! Unbelievable!!

I came here for my passport appointment 2 times. One time I forgot a paper and the guy said I can come right back. The second time I did my appointment and took my picture the guy was very nice and sweet . Is very organized and they have a separate line for passports. I recommend doing your passport here!!
