The staff is incredibly unresponsive and unprofessional. I have been trying to collect photos I gave for development and now its been over two weeks since they were supposed to be there. When trying to call the store, all the employees either do not pick up the phone or pick up and hang up. When I went to the store the employees mentioned that it is taking longer and I should speak to the manager, but they do not know when the manager is in the office. This is incredibly frustrating and bad customer service.

The staff here are extremely disrespectful and have poor customer service. I greeted the first staff member I seen and asked for assistance with an item that was locked up. I was told they didn’t have the keys and that another staff member should have them that worked in that section.(There was no staff in that section.) They then asked the manager if they had keys and the manager did not. The staff that original greeted and asked for assistance then proceeded to walk away to look for further help and I began to follow but was left and ended up back on their original section. I then had to go back and ask if I was going to get help. They told me they called for help. Instead of walking away I would have appreciated efficient communication and was told that help would be with me shortly and to be patient instead of feeling like I was left with no help. Another staff member approached me and due to my appearance, instead of being greeted and asked what is it I needed assistance with the staff simply said “instacart”. I them reassured them I was a paying customer that needed help and the response I received was, “if you were instacart I wouldn’t allow you to walk around the store.” When I corrected his tone and mannerism he felt offended and continued to be disrespectful further. I told him several times I did not like how I was being spoken to and simple would just like some help to retrieve my item and pay for it was still given disrespect and attitude. He then pretended like the key didn’t fit and acted like he was asking for help from another staff member. I was again left and didn’t receive the help I asked for, and after two minutes of just standing in the aisle I noticed that nobody was coming ti help so I left. The staff here are nasty and very personal. There needs to be some type of training on customer service. I was not treated with respect and felt very much degraded. Regardless if I was working for instacart, Uber it a regular paying customer, everybody deserves to be treated with respect and kindness. I wouldn’t recommend this Walgreens to anybody.

They are the most disgusting, hypocritical and dishonest company ever! Their $35 free shipping is a brazen and thorough lie. Once you reach $35, it always says the item exceeds the total free shipping limit and it will automatically add the same shipping cost, if not more. It doesn't matter how light or small the extra item is. And they often have false deals, like this olive oil in clearance for example, if you add some in your cart and try to check out, it will always prompt a message saying you can't buy them regardless of the quantity. There's one time I ordered some toilet paper from them and it advertised one equals 4 regular rolls. I only realized it's a total lie when the item arrived. It's only like 25% larger than any other roll I've seen in my life at best. Their agents were so shameless that they just denied the issue when confronted with solid evidence. In addition, their app discount coupon never worked when I try to check out, no matter how hard or how much time I try.

I ordered a delivery and most of it wasn’t delivered. Called for refund and was put on hold 3 times. Useless

I should have checked the reviews before coming here. Scheduled a Covid vaccine and was told to show up 15 minutes prior to my appointment, which I did. Only to wait for 30 minutes past my appointment time before I was seen with no acknowledgement or apology from the pharmacist.

Don't patronise the pharmacy in this store. The lines are long, the service is slow, and the people who work there are rude. If you call, you will wait on hold for 25+ minutes. I recommend using Rite Aid at 81 First Ave instead. There you will find polite and helpful staff and great service all round. Spend your money where you are valued and appreciated!

Price gouging at its finestAny visitor to this Walgreens will be left wondering whether they have lost their marbles - given the EXCEPTIONAL prices. An extension lead is something everyone needs and should really be a price-protected public good. They are normally available for around $8 or, if you go on Amazon, $10.At this Walgreens, however, the owners appear to find it acceptable to charge TWENTY-NINE-DOLLARS for EXACTLY the same $10 extension lead as sold on Amazon.Dear reader, I am not ashamed to admit that, upon realizing by quite how much I was being hoodwinked, I threw the extension lead to the floor in disgust. An order has now been placed on Amazon. This does mean I have to wait a day or two - how awful - but my sanity has been preserved.I fear this store could do little better than to shut up shop immediately. These stores complain about people robbing them but, honestly, with such outrageous prices, it is hardly surprising.

Wish I could give zero stars completely wasted my time. Tried to transfer my prescription to this Walgreens and said it would take 1-2 hours and it’s been nearly 5. Had to call multiple times to get any help. Once I finally got pick up time they said they didn’t take my insurance and wanted me to pay out of pocket. What was the point of taking my insurance card/information in the first place?? Don’t go to this pharmacy if you need help. Need to make a whole new transfer.

Whatever you do, don’t use this pharmacy. I’ve tried getting a prescription filled here twice, and each time they actively made it harder to get my medication.First time they kept saying my prescription would be filled in the next two hours when I called. They did this all day until I finally went in. Then they made me wait an hour, and when they tried to charge insurance their system was down, and it was too late in the day to get the back office. On the second time, I got a text saying my prescription was filled. I went in, and it turns out they didn’t even have the medication in stock. I then tried to get it filled at another pharmacy, but I ran into issues because Walgreens had already billed my insurance for the medication they didn’t give me, so it looked like I was getting it filled twice.Fortunately, the non Walgreens pharmacy took the time to sort everything out, but what a headache. Can’t recommend Walgreens less.

Make sure you have plenty of time when you go and get those errands done, because there's rarely enough cashiers and other staff to help customers.

PHARMACY REVIEW: If I could give 0 stars I would. I've been coming here for 3 years and have yet to complain about the (typical) 45 minutes wait times, but the staff at the pharmacy is so awful. I've never met more unfriendly, inconsiderate, and rude people in my life. It makes me wonder why they'd choose a job where they have to speak to other people.

Andrea is the best pharmacist I work for Carecard and visit many pharmacies but she is so sweet and helpful to clients. Very friendly, real professional and sweet personality. Walgreens should be happy to have her

The pharmacy is abysmal. I have used it for approximately 2 years because I already had Rx's with Walgreens/Duane Reade and because of physical location convenience. Lines are usually exceedingly long. Walgreens has an "Express Pay" option, supposedly to help alleviate this issue. In fact, it makes no difference, you must still stand in line, and there are typically annoying hassles to deal with. For example, recently I had two partial filled prescriptions and another prescription that I filled. The pharmacist took 30 minutes to put this together after I arrived (I already had ordered and paid for the whole thing), supposedly to combine the two partial prescriptions into one full prescription. They then tried to charge me a second time and tried to run out for a lunch break instead of addressing the issue, denying me the ability to pick up the order I had already paid for. They told me to allow them to double charge and to contact my credit card company if I had an issue. When there are problems and a call is needed, nobody picks up the phone and you're endlessly on hold. Customer service is an afterthought. I've had it. It is reprehensible when one considers that this is a licensed pharmacy. It sounds like many others have had similar issues reading the reviews, I would hope that NY City/State should open an investigation. I'm terminating my customer relationship with Walgreens and transferring all my prescriptions to a local independently owned pharmacy.

Filled out vaccination (not COVID) paperwork before arrival. Had to fill out everything again and was made to wait 40 minutes. I was first in line. Overheard pharmacy workers complaining about how much work they had to do with lots of dramatic audible sighs. Nothing professional about this place. Is anyone surprised?

I went here to get an emergency passport photo for my son. It was the coldest day of the year. They were unapologetic, stating the machine has been down for at least a month. I suggested that they update their website. The sales person rolled their eyes at me and sarcastically said they would tell the manager. We went to CVS at 338 East 23rd Street to get the photo instead. Everyone was so kind and worked really well with my baby. Save time by going directly to CVS.
