I came here for a simple replacement card. But despite having 4 people standing around, they claimed they couldn't do that bEcAusE thE cOviDS. Not to worry, he offered to give me the regular half-hour wait telephone number to leave and do it myself.Called corporate and they said its okay, this branch had a huddle before business opened that day and decided they weren't going to follow procedure. They'll be collecting full salary to just be pushing business out of the door & I need to wait 2 weeks before I can use my money from the bank.I'll be looking into my other banking options, thanks!

The only competent banker here is Ali Galiano. I’ve met several of them and they a bunch of incompetent clowns. Every single time, I’ve gotten horrible service and excuses, bad communication and long waiting times.

Single handedly the worst bank in the country.... Impossible to speak with anyone who can make a decision. Can't wait to move my account.

This review is based solely off one encounter I had probably over a year ago. I came in with coins to exchange for paper dollars. I was unprepared and didn't realize I had to roll the coins myself. I was provided rolls and space accomplish this, and had about 50 minutes alone to roll my coins before the bank closed. As time progressed I became more aware that I would not finish even half of this project by the time the bank would close. One of the employees, I forgot her name, but she's Asian (I say that only to narrow down the hero of the day), stopped by to check on me and started helping me out. She went out of her way to see I needed assistance and didn't hesitate to reach out and assist before I had any courage to ask for help. What she doesn't realize is what she did elicited an emotional moment I had when I was 4. Back then my mom had dropped me off at daycare for the first time in my life at 5am. Having no idea what this change meant I just laid down in a tiny sleeping bag, feeling sad, scared, and completely alone. After 10 minutes another kid came up to me to talk to me, and instantly I felt connected and happy. Now fast forward...this Wells Fargo employee gave me the exact same feeling, and I was fighting not to show my emotions, covertly wiping my eyes as I would occasionally get teary-eyed. And we completed all the rolls together before the bank closed. Thank you for making me feel connected again.

STAY AWAY from them. WellsFargo is so far the WORST bank that I had to deal with. My credit card was stolen and used. They had me go to the branch to verify myself, WHO DOES THAT? it's 21st century and all other banks don't give you that hassle to deal with. Then the first time when I went to "verify" my own self at the great neck branch. They apparently did not take any notes and the account was still in the bad position til I found out a month later by receiving the e statement. Then I had to go to the branch AGAIN to variety myself because they just would not help you if you do not go to the stupid branch. Then after all that they sent me some fraudulent investigation form to fill out and fax to them, which I did, but guess what, after a month, they sent me ANOTHER statements saying I own them all the late fees, and all other fees (accumulated from the amount that they put on the fraudulent form to clear it for me???!!!) REALLY?? how smart is their system???!!! So I had to talk to the supervisor's supervisor to get all the fees cleared up and made sure that she closed the account. But guess what, I muse received another statement from them after dealing with them for nearly 4 month that I still " owe" them $17 dollars. Now they are asking me to step into the stupid branch AGAIN!!! So seriously stay away from them don't evey go near their building!!!!! THE WORST BANK EVER IN THE PLANET!!
