I was faced with a complex and atypical situation involving a banker’s mistake in an office in California. I was passing through NY and made an appointment at this office. I was late (yes, that's NY, baby) and arrived a couple of minutes before the office closed. The branch manager Mrs. Smith-Daniels and banker Mr. Caputo made me feel very welcome, they stayed after work, listened to me and tried to solve my problem. I was pleasantly shocked, because all day I could not get an intelligible answer from the bank’s hotline (I agree, my case was atypical). In addition, I came to their office the next day and they, showing the highest professionalism and humanity, tried to do everything possible to solve my case. WFB think they got the initials wrong. This actually should mean "WE FK Banking Clients"!!!!!!!! Avoid this financial group unless you like con men and being scammed I did, you will! Read google reviews for confirmation!Avoid this scam bank!!!

UN staff not welcome here. Banker insisted UN staff were non-resident aliens and not entitled to any opening bonus. Manager was unapologetic but very tough, seemingly treating us as trouble makers who dared to argue back against her verdict: "If you do not have Green Card, our bank account bonus is not for you." No "sorry". No regrets. No polite words. Treated as if we were thieves trying to steal bonus from Wells Fargo. Very indifferent and unprofessional, outright the worst bank towards UN staff in the proximity of UN headquarters.

Location is convenient for using ATM. Needed in person assistance, and while the teller tried to find someone to help - the customer rep that wasn't doing much told me to call the number on the back of the atm card. The customer service from the rep and her manager, left much to be desired. Will be closing my acct.

my visits to well fargo bank on 3rd ave off 42nd st have always been short and dull just how i like it. the main extrance for full banking is on 3rd ave as atms are in a separate area off 3rd ave.i went on a friday to speak to a bank rep about a minor issue with my account and the lady bank rep cleared up the issue in 5 minutes which was not great cause i found the chairs in the waiting area are comfortable enough for me to take a little nap(,only kidding no nap this time) .my only issue and its a small one is that the atms are in a seperate area away from the main banking area and i prefer the convience and safety of having it in on area .overall wells fargo is a good bank to have a personal or business account.

3rd Ave & 42nd street: The HR manager who hires these people deserves to be fired. A bunce of uncharismaric individuals with zero common sense and absolutely no problem solving skills. The customer service in nyc has gone down the drain the last 8 years together with the quality of life

This is the worst bank ever. Total auto loan SCAM. Is there some class action suit I can join? They keep trying to get extra $$ after I paid off the loan and won’t relinquish the title for the car. Interest rate too high and they dodge phone calls by hanging up S-C-A-M.

Poor customer support. The other reviews are not kidding around, and there is a reason that this branch as a 2.7 star rating (as of writing this review). Bank somewhere else, the staff here will not return you calls and are unhelpful, even for high-net worth individuals.

I like this branch quite a bit. Everyone I've encountered that works here seemed friendly and professional. They've also been fast and efficient with my requests. One time I needed to speak with a banker to process a wire transfer. The banker was friendly and professional and got my transaction done in no time at all.
