To the MANAGER of this branch.I came today to make a money transfer and the representative of this bank was very unprofessional. HER NAME WAS Lily.First of all she barely spoke English. But also she didn’t know how to make a basic international wire money transfer. I wasted about 30 minutes of my time and had to go to another branch.

I like this Wells better than most. I think it's because of the tellers. They for the most part don't engage in unnecessary chit chat when the lines are long. This is New York, not the Midwest. Still I do wonder why they have a guy greeting people at the door when he could be back there helping out. I'll take a faster line over someone asking me how my sh*tty a** day is going.

Wells Fargo always gets a bad rap but this has been by far my best banking experience. The location is very clean, organized and welcoming. However its the staff that really shine. Bob the lead teller was incredibly friendly and courteous. (He even noticed my birthday recently passed and was this close from singing me Happy Birthday. Gabriel helped me open a new checking account and he was the most professional, friendly and helpful banker ever. He went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed, including giving me advice on how to best configure my account, answering every question and even letting me charge my dead phone. Take most negative reviews in Manhattan with a grain of salt because half the people here are pompous and entitled. I'd come here again in a heartbeat.

Don't waste your time with the banker teller, they are no help, went to cash a work check, the teller says "won't be able to get cash till tomorrow and that I should go to chase since it's a "chase" check. I simply go to the Wells Fargo atm, deposit the check and took out money. The other staff is very helpful, again if you don't need to speak to teller, do yourself a favor and stick with the atm.

STAY AWAY from them. WellsFargo is so far the WORST bank that I had to deal with. My credit card was stolen and used. They had me go to the branch to verify myself, WHO DOES THAT? it's 21st century and all other banks don't give you that hassle to deal with. Then the first time when I went to "verify" my own self at the great neck branch. They apparently did not take any notes and the account was still in the bad position til I found out a month later by receiving the e statement. Then I had to go to the branch AGAIN to variety myself because they just would not help you if you do not go to the stupid branch. Then after all that they sent me some fraudulent investigation form to fill out and fax to them, which I did, but guess what, after a month, they sent me ANOTHER statements saying I own them all the late fees, and all other fees (accumulated from the amount that they put on the fraudulent form to clear it for me???!!!) REALLY?? how smart is their system???!!! So I had to talk to the supervisor's supervisor to get all the fees cleared up and made sure that she closed the account. But guess what, I muse received another statement from them after dealing with them for nearly 4 month that I still " owe" them $17 dollars. Now they are asking me to step into the stupid branch AGAIN!!! So seriously stay away from them don't evey go near their building!!!!! THE WORST BANK EVER IN THE PLANET!!

incredible service. Super fast and really friendly. Probably the most convenient bank experience I've ever had. I lost my debit card and they replaced it on the spot, canceling the old one before I could say "damn you guys are fast."
