Pharmacist Sam is excellent. The operations are poor, medicines are not filled timely, the pharmacy staff and some of the pharmacists are rude. I would not rely on this pharmacy if possible.

I usually use Capsule delivery for my pharmacy needs because it's so much more convenient, but unfortunately they're having supply issues for my medications, so had to go to Duane Reade. The technician had no clue what she was doing. I used Express Pay and paid in advance and she was trying to tell me that I still had a balance. When I showed her that I already paid she didn't believe me, was arguing with me and was super rude and dismissive toward me. Miserable experience! I really hope I can start using capsule again because the technicians at Duane Reade are atrocious!

Rudest people you will ever meet. Do not care about their customers and will shamelessly tell you on the phone that you were told something just to get you off the phone and that is when you have barely spoken to them for 5 mins Preferably AVOID THEM unless of course getting screamed at is what you want

Do NOT bring your disposable camera to have photos printed here. They lost 3 of my films and will not provide any solutions and will not give me any money back. Their CD machine is always broken and after waiting 4 months for them to fix it, they told me they lost my files meaning the photos are all lost. It was very frustrating and the staff was not helpful and don't seem to care at all. There is another place on E 38th Street that print them for you in 24 hours and send you the pictures by email.

Incredibly rude with no people skills whatsoever. New addition to the pharmacy staff. I've witnessed her bully and mock other workers. She is loud and overly aggressive with customers as well.

We were walking by this store two days ago and I needed to buy a card, so it was a good opportunity. Upon entering the store, I asked the cashier where the cards were located and she brusquely pointed towards the back of the store. We finally found the card section and admittedly the selection was good. We then decided to look at the sales circular, in case there was anything we'd want to buy (rather than wasting an inordinate amount of time walking down the many aisles of the store) - so we went to the front of the store and asked an employee walking past us where the sales circulars were located, since we couldn't find them. Not only did she not stop for even one second, but she rudely motioned towards the back of the store (?!). I asked her again - more forcefully - and she made very rude hand motions (use your imagination) before rushing away. I then requested that the cashier get ahold of the manager, and I gave him an earful. He was polite, although he wasn't exactly effusively apologetic. At least the cashier was more pleasant than previously, when I paid for the card. (As an aside, the sale items are only listed online - and certainly we weren't surprised to hear that, but we had no desire to make any more purchases by then).

I went to buy an item and was in a rush ! The price was about 6 dollars and when I went to pay for it it says 10$ ! U asked the cashier why there is a price difference! She said maybe because you have to have membership ! I looked it online and in store the price was 6$ I have no idea where did the extra money went to ?! 4$ was taking from me and it was the only store opened around that time ! Bad service !

Brendan was extremely helpful. He was able to look up products prior to my arrival into the store. I appreciate his customer service and assistance during an extremely hectic day. Thank you!

I just went to Walgreens at this location. 6th of September. A cashier first didn't even give me an option to put my phone number for the points. I politely ask to do so. After I put my number, I see that I accumulated enough points to take $5 off. But cashier again just skips this step. I say I want to take $5 off. She tells me that I can do it next time. Excuse me, what? Why is she deciding when I should use my money? So I am insisting on doing it now. She obviously has no idea how to get back to that step, she asks me to confirm my info and somehow register me as NEW account. And now all my points are completely gone! What is this???

This store has had 5 CONFIRMED cases of Covid-19, DO NOT shop at this location. Do not pick up medication from this location, send your prescriptions else where because they do not care about the health of the customers who shop there let alone their own employees.

Dangerous situation here. They have removed the 2nd checkout station they usually have in the back and the 1 remaining checkout aisle in the front has been made too narrow for a wheelchair to pass and exit. Also the 2nd entrance in the back has been physically blocked, in the event of a fire. The front checkout aisle is so narrow that today, an elderly woman in a wheelchair had to be pushed back thru the the length of the checkout line because the wheelchair could not fit thru or exit the aisle. Very degrading and disrespectful to the woman. This also caused all of us on the line to then bunch up as we moved backwards. Isn't this Illegal for non compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act? I brought these issues to the manager's attention but she was very rude and immediately launched into an I know better than you tirade, so I had to walk away. I also spoke with Walgreen's corporate and they didn't seem too concerned either. So why should we shop here?

I got to check out where the lady is blowing her nose. She is wearing gloves and used a tissue. When I asked her nicely to change gloves before handling my purchases in this era of COVID, she angrily refuses. Since I have scrubs, I reluctantly mention that I am a doctor and changing gloves would be the right thing to do. Again, in a pretty nice manner. In the end she's is loudly complaining to her coworker who also thinks that it is ludicrous that I asked her to change gloves after blowing her nose. Pretty unpleasant and now I question the cleanliness of the entire store... sad.

The 34th street and 3rd have store in nyc is rude and time suck. Many many mistakes in just one transaction. -hang up while speaking 3 times. - lie to the manager that I hung up -manager does nothing about staff behavior /manager leaves earlywithout dispute resolution -pharmacy gives wrong item and blames consumer for not checking. -blames doctor for late prescription to pass blame when I was denied opportunity to call the doctor office because they gave me wrong prescription of a double dose of an already picked up drug instead of saying there was nothing to pick up. - when I be been harassed they are wasting more time explaining that they are trying to do do me a favor when they are useless and trying to patch up for the time waste by trying to arrange home delivery. -home delivery is also botched by providing false signature of delivery with no delivery. -further hang up, staff don't want to leave each other message, they want me to keep calling back for more time waste. - it's not a 24 hour service because the night staff only want to sleep instead of answering phone -they want to overcharge me 380 but don't want to refund before giving me right prescription - they charge my card over the phone but can't refund over the phone for their own f*** up - meanwhile patient has to suffer in dangerous times -- pharmacy staff should all be sacked
