Rite aid closing thus location along with many others. Pharmacy Customers were not told . The shelves kept emptying. I asked staff . They said they thought they were closing but had never been officially told. Last week I had a RX called in. The pharmacist called and said the store did not have if and would not order any. Since it was a controlled substance the script could not be filled by another Rite Aid. I have meds that are refilled by Rite Aid. My scripts are nowhere. The pharmacy is not answering their phone.!I am a senior and have meds I need. O have contacted my providers and my scripts are elsewhere. The Rite Aid Co kept everyone in the dark so making contingency plans was restricted. Apparently they are closing stores due to theft. I know it is a problem but I do not think they were smart. Why wouldn't they post a security guard at the door? CVS has a lot of stock under lock and key. That level of security makes shopping unpleasant but unfortunately I think that is necessary. I will miss Rite Aid but I am unimpressed by corporate.

Friendly staff and fully stocked. When we landed in the neighborhood and need a few things this was a no brainer.

Glad this location is open in Manhattan and convenient to get to when in the downtown area and was stocked when I went. Other locations have closed down. Pretty large location and easy to find items needed, though over stock is placed in different sections in the store. Weekly circular is online to preview sales for the week. Don't forget your card for the discounts Open 24 hours is convenient. There was no line when I went and of course, best not to go during the rush hour esp lunch time to avoid the long lines and crowds. Would be nice if they add kiosks for self-check out, but all good otherwise. Another plus if they could add Amazon lockers like some other locations in the near future, if possible.

Convenient location in Brookfield Place to purchase day-to-day drugstore items as well as to pick-up prescription medication and get vaccinations. What sets it apart are the great pharmacists. Both Gifta and Jasmine are terrific in serving and getting to know their customers. Recently, when they were out of a medication that I urgently needed, Jasmine took the initiative to search and find another RiteAid location that had the medication and I was able to pick it up there. That effort was greatly appreciated and shows why I choose to have my prescriptions filled at this RiteAid.

RiteAid, 225 Liberty Street, Battery Park, New York City, messaged me to say my prescriptions would all be ready between April 9-11. When I went to collect on April 11, I was told they were not ready and I should come back on April 28. I felt so let down: we are talking medicine I must take daily and they all need to be on time. The above was not the first time it happened. The pharmacy staff, especially the pharmacists, come across as very uncaring, unprofessional and unhelpful. I decided to take my business elsewhere. I am glad I did. Walgreens, for example, has a very good App with excellent functions, among which is a step-by-step guide to switch from Rite Aid to Walgreens without leaving home. A painless transition. And I am very happy and, honestly, quite relieved, with my switch. Customers should never have to tolerate shockingly bad treatment - when this happens, they should take their business elsewhere.

I like this store. The discounts are good, selection is normal and pharmacy staff are helpful (as expected). The store is clean and well organized. It's a convenient place to stop and all hours of the day.

The pharmacy used to be good but over the past year or so I've experienced problems trying to get some prescriptions renewed. They switched over to a central ordering system so prescriptions are not renewed on a timely basis like in the past. A few times I've come to pick up a medication that was supposed to be there only to be told it hasn't arrived yet. Also, I've had problems in which my doctor was supposedly called to renew a medication but when I called my doctor's office, I was told that the medication was not called in or else Rite Aid called a different medication in. This is not acceptable. Otherwise, I haven't had problems with the store itself and generally the staff is pleasant. However, the pharmacy staff needs to be made aware of these mistakes happening.

This store really needs to get its act together. The regular checkout line is always a mile long. They rarely fill prescriptions until you show up and make you wait 20-30 mins regularly. The pharmacists seem overworked and hence have an attitude. For being in a location like Brookfield place, Rite Aid needs to tighten it up.

Quality of service and goods are no comparison for our old Battery Park Pharmacy. Prices are much higher at Rite Aid as well. They pretend to offer "discounts" but since the price is so much higher in the first place even the "sale" price is higher than our old pharmacy. Consistently it is a "project" to get prescription refills. The phone system can take 5 tries looping around the computer prompts before a pharmacist answers. Even after double checking on refills, they aren't done when I go to pick them up. The line for the pharmacy can easily be 1/2 hour or longer. UPDATE: Two weeks and counting, even after 9 calls, 2 to my doctor and 7 to the store, an hour in the store and speaking with the manager, still do not have a simple refill on a prescription I needed.

The worst pharmacy in NY. They've always been rude and now they seem completely incompetent. Stood behind a woman who was told her prescription was ready--it wasn't. When I tried to pick up mine they couldn't find it. The worst.

This place is abysmal. The line for the check out is consistently 10+ minutes at best. The male pharmacist is an a******* As I held my crying baby while I was also crying he refused to help me find infant Tylenol which would be the right dosage. I hate this place.

The absolute worst. Prescriptions were automatically transferred there when battery park pharmacy closed. They are disorganized, unhelpful and basically not capable of basic communication. Do yourself a favor and find another pharmacy

I was in search of a snack and something cold to drink while visiting the world trade center /oculus, but didn't want to pay FIDI prices for that, Rite Aid" came to the rescue, accessible from the Brookfield center, (so I didn't have to go outdoors) I'm usually against chain stores, but here it was much needed, I got an Arizona for a $1, and some nuts for pennies, and it's open 24/7.
