Understaffed, poorly managed, and disorganized store. They even have a sign apologizing for lack of service at the pharmacy. Some of the pharmacists are nice enough but at least one is rude and uncommunicative. People just seem unhappy here. I didn't think there could be a worse store than the Duane Reade on 50th and 9th but they're looking pretty good now. To be clear these issues are rarely the fault of the regular folks working there. It's a corporate thing and the mismanagement/lack of investment in their own stores. We just accept it as what passes for customer service.

AVOID IF YOU CAN. Easily the worst pharmacy I've tried to use in nearly fifty years. One negative incident I could let go. There have been many. The most recent three are below.Today a pharmacist literally hung up on me after giving me conflicting information when I asked her to clarify it ("You don't need to resubmit your prescription to get it refilled" "We won't fill your prescription unless you resubmit it"). I've never been hung up on by a pharmacist before but based on what I've seen of the pharmacists here, I'm completely unsurprised by the lack of competence and lack of professionalism. To be clear - this is a week after the script was submitted because when the pharmacist called me last time to tell me my pills were on backorder, she hung up on me before I could ask what to do next. The last time I went there, the phlebotomist did such a bad job with my COVID shot that my arm bled for literally 5 minutes - a stream of blood down my arm, not a little droplet pinprick of blood - the first time I've ever had a vaccination bleed in my life.The time before that the pharmacist forgot I was sitting there for 30 minutes (I set a timer alarm) because she "forgot to check the printer" which had the paperwork she needed that she told me was getting.I've learned my lesson and won't go back. Despite its convenience, avoid the pharmacy unless you enjoy getting jerked around by unprofessional pharmacy employees.

Randomly closed the pharmacy for multiple days with zero notice to send staff to different stores. No notice to patients and no potential re-open date. Unable to get medication for multiple days. Completely avoid this location

A Prescrition was ordered for me. I arrived 3 days later and they did not have it ready because of a potential medication interaction. They never contacted the prescriber. Then, the system went "down" and they sent me to other pharmacies but they did not make sure that the system was ok in the other pharmacy or that they would even have my prescription ready.

Was queued up about 5:50p tonight, cashier helped this elderly lady pack up her cart, walked her outside and everything. (And none of that IG clout shit neither.) Bravo, v heartwarming.

What's the point in having a rewards program if your associate does not know how to apply it. She rings me up than ask if I have discount points by the time I tell her yes she already completed purchase than proceeds to explain how I needed to inform her before hand and it's too late to apply, customer service absolute zero. Stop being lazy do a return and teach yourself how to apply it. Cashiers are the face of your company and if you trust to leave them at the cashier alone make sure they take care of your customers! I'll stick with cvs! And FYI you Owe me 8cents highly illegal not to give proper change just because you don't have it in register round up not down. Why do I have to take the loss, and how many customers Does that happen to, which gives u guys a large profit at the end of day!

Horrible pharmacy staff. Very unprofessional and rude, been going to this location for almost 2 years and haven't thought much much into how slack and rude their service was until my most recent visit. It literally had me leaving like what the absolute heck. Switched to Capsule pharmacy. Night and day of a difference. This review is almost as helpless as the staff there. Reviews on a pharmacy chain are useless, but If you do happen to read this then take my advice and don't go to this location.

There has been a personnel change at the pharmacy and it is not I think for the better. The woman at the counter the last time I went--she gave her name as Kenyatta--struck me as sullen, extraordinarily rude and completely unwilling to be helpful.

The beer refrigerator is never working. This place is beyond ghetto. It is never well stocked. The pharmacists are very nice though.

Lines are always long and the tellers act like they don't want to be there or do their jobs. They constantly talk to one another while they are supposed to be paying attention to monetary transactions. Due to their lack of attention, they frequently make mistakes. They are very slow and don't give fair warning before switching shifts in the afternoon, leaving long lines that go almost out the door. The manager Yolanda allowed a man that came in claiming that he had a taxi waiting outside for him, to cut the line in front of everyone else that had already been waiting there. Someone needs to open up another check cashing place in the area, since this is the only one nearby. This location doesn't even deserve the one star that it's getting.

Since TD bank on Columbus & 86 got rid of the coin machine, I was told this was the next closest location. For $95.89 worth of coins they took a $10.27 fee. I would look around to see if you can find any place that's is still free of charge. The machine doesn't work well I had it timed out several times, and you need to continually brush the coins forward with your hands or it continually stops feeding the coins into the sorter. It's a very slow coin machine.
